FIRE EMBLEM: TOIL OF TRANSGRESSION

Part I

For centuries, the Western and Eastern Separations coexisted in a peaceful harmony, uncompromising of the vow that their founding fathers established long ago. No major conflicts save for small disputes over land, no great war which would plunge the world into the evil it once harbored. Cliace, ruled by Emperor Deacon, has ushered into its most prominent of ages unseen for many millenia.

Though, all it takes is a single fire to light a rebellion. A few of Cliace's southern provinces have declared their independence from the powerful nation, questioning the emperor's refusal to acknowledge Cliace's potential acts of enslaving the Laguz.

After many unanswered pleas to reconsider and reports of acts of terror occurring in the province, Emperor Deacon has resolved to address such actions with force. He has mobilized a small portion of his army to quell the rebellion, and calls for the regular people to help reunite Cliace once more.

Rules

  • I am your god.
  • TwilightDragon is your goddess when I am not present.
  • No god-modding, metagaming, blah blah this is Casual you should know the basic rules.
  • Be precise with your grammar and spelling. This bothers me the most. :)
  • Be active and lead the story with us! Have some fun! :D
  • Only first-tier classes will be allowed (for now) unless noted otherwise.
  • If you'll be gone, tell us! I don't appreciate people who up and leave without saying a word, it makes it awkward and I hold grudges. :)
  • If you are using a different Laguz species, tell me what beforehand so I can give you information.
  • If you have a question about ANYTHING, please ask me.
  • I will only allow one Branded character for every seven characters. There is no character limit, but please, if you make multiple characters, develop all of them equally.
  • Don't fight with one another. Be Fonz cool.
  • Be realistic with your character's strengths and potential opponents' strengths. Sure, they can be random enemy soldiers or whatever, but your character isn't going to instagib five people in a two or three sentences, regardless of experience/strength. Just.. be realistic, that's all.
  • If you break one of these rules, I'll give you a warning or two. After that, I'll have to remove you from this roleplay. Sorry, but it's the rules.

EDIT: Was testing something for the OOC. Ignore this. 8)
Is there still an opportunity for me to place my Interest? Cause I am!

Of course, though we do have a lot of people who are interested, from what I have seen.

We'll see how the OOC goes and how many people stick around. :)
Yup. Tigers and cat, like in the games, are very abundant in number.
I'm not busy today, so I'll be working on the OOC along with Twilight. As for the class list, I've created a barebones one for the mean time. I might add/remove classes later on, but this is the general list that I've come up with. If there are any requests for certain classes, or questions for why certain classes aren't there, ask away.

There is a 'class change' sort of thing like the games have, but it will be limited by a fair amount, given that we will not be using a stats system. For example, a Myrmidon will not be able to become a Mage; to me, that is a ridiculous change. A Myrmidon could decide to become a Sword Knight if their character likes horses and wishes to become a mounted swordfighter.

As for Laguz, all species are available: you could be a typical tiger, or a frog, or even a gerbil. In place of that, however, there are certain species that have been pushed to the brink of extinction or are full blown extinct (just ask me beforehand and I'll tell you if whatever species you choose is endangered and rare in number or whatever).

As a result, there is a certain hierarchy of animals in each 'tribe' - for example, the "Beast Tribe" is still ruled by Lions, and the "Bird Tribes" have a power struggle between the Hawks, Ravens, and Eagles (which used to be the ones in control until their dying numbers was an exploited weakness for the Hawks and Ravens).

With the way I have the setting... set up, there are two major portions of land that are divided close to the middle; the Western and Eastern Separations. Nations are spread out among these two land masses, with one in each separation garnering the most influence of its specific separation.
Might be interested!
I'll be occupied for almost all of today. We might shoot for the OOC tomorrow, or whenever we're able.

Anyway, I have to go. Don't hurt one another. :)
Nah, we could have them.

Though, they don't necessarily fight. They'd be more like the aforementioned "civilian" classes, which would probably not partake in a battle, but for example, would remain at the allied camp to raise spirits and morale after a bloody battle so they can be motivated for the next battle, in a war sense. Just an example, though.

@Rakurai
I think the gist of having a trainee class is kind of obsolete, as well. I intend to have it that you could introduce a character in Part I, and have them as active characters for the rest of the Parts, which could potentially constitute their growth from "trainee" to "veteran".

Altogether, I think the term "trainee" would just mean inexperienced as whatever class they are, and not defined as an individual class.
I suppose there won't be a trainee class available here?

I was actually going to have it that certain tiers of classes would be unavailable early on (unless allowed for special reason like the person's status as an officer in the army or something like that).

So like, Tier 2 classes would be unavailable until "Part III" or something in similarity.

This is so we do not have fifty Swordmasters waving their blades around at the poor enemy Archers in the beginning
