Harry Potter- Ignition Year one

First off I will start by introducing myself and the CO-GMs. I am Soren fun loving but strict. Eyeris and MissCapnCrunch are the COs of this game. This game will last as long as we carry it on. As in we will be doing all seven years of our characters schooling, maybe more. So for the most part we hope to keep you guys on this RP but we understand life happens. So I and I know the others are looking forward to getting to know everyone as well as you getting to know us. So let’s give a preview to the story.

***It has been a while since Voldemort and Harry Potter fought in the battle of Hogwarts. Peace was the thing of what was going to be the new age. Most of the dark wizards had been rounded up or turned to the side of the Ministry. No one ever thought that a dark cloud was beginning to form and that this would be something that the ministry was prepared for and neither were any of the schools. Durmstrang was peaceful on the dark and cold night. A blizzard had blown in earlier that day but the headmaster was still walking the grounds. He and a few others stayed at the school to keep it up and protect it. Off in the distance a wolf howled and the headmaster smiled. “Only weeks away from the beginning of the term for the new and returning students.” He said as he approached the front gates where a guard stood. The Headmaster put his hand on the guard. “This will be a great semester. I can feel it in my bones. Don’t you agree?” He said the soldier who didn’t answer. The Headmaster turned the soldier and in a horror saw that his face was distorted. The Headmaster stepped back and looked around frantically. Suddenly he heard a voice coming into the front gate. “You know headmaster I feel that this is going to be a good year. You know what I also think?” The tall man bent down in front of the headmaster who had fallen into the snow and backed up into a statue. “I think that your position as the head master has had a recent opening.” The man smiled a wicked smile showing his awful teeth and sent a jet of light into the man’s chest whose face contorted into a horrific position and feel still. “Well then boys it is time to get the rest of the schools staff out and start sending out those letters. We have lots of dark wizards to teach this year.” Standing up he strolled through the court yard and into the school. Following him was a wolf and several other wizards and witches filing into the court yard and into the school as well.***

Alright starting out our first years will be making their entering scene going to platform 9 and ¾. Please make your character as followed by the outline below and we will let you know if you are accepted.

This RPG takes place at Hogwarts, but AFTER the original story takes place.
According to a Harry Potter timeline I googled, Harry and the trio graduated in 1987 defeating Voldy, and their kids start school in 2017. We are going to set this RP in the ‘present/2014’ so 27 years after they graduated.

What kind of characters can we play?
We will all be playing first year students at Hogwarts. Other than that, be whoever you like!

Can I play the son/daughter of a cannon character?
I prefer original characters, but shoot us a message of your idea!

Is this a slice of life RP? Or is there a conflict?
There will be slice of life moments, especially at the beginning of the rp, but there is definitely some dark-magic opposition forming up! No spoilers!

Can I play a Villain?
You must play a first year student at Hogwarts. If you want to play someone you think would be sympathetic to the bad guy, you are welcome to create a character like that.

Rules

1. HAVE FUN! This is a game after all! If you are being a jerk and interfering with the fun of others in the OOC you will be booted, ain’t nobody got time for that. If you enhance the fun of others IC or OOC you will be rewarded! Brownie points are my favorite.

2. You must play a first year character.

3. You must play an original character.

4. You must post at least one-two paragraphs, as is the standard for casual-role-play on this forum. All other standards set in the causal-role play forum apply, so things like spell check are good and speed posting is bad. If you have any questions about this feel free to ask or check out the casual-forum rules and FAQ.

5. Posting at least every two days is preferred. Saying that this is not a round-robin RP. Post when you feel the need or have the opportunity as long as it fits, don’t just go off and post some off the wall thing that makes no sense with the scene that is currently happening. Also as a sub-clause to this rule please please don’t just bail for any amount of time longer than three or four days. Let I, Eyeris, or Miss know if you’re going to be gone either by PM or by OOC.
