Soren went over to Kazen after following him into the warehouse. "Yeah ok you dumbass I don't think you knew what you were getting into. I really don't think you could have taken him in the state you were in, but by all means if you would like to go back and try and put a scratch on him then go ahead. I can still see him from here!" Soren had his eagle vision on since he had scrambled off the rooftop to make sure that they were followed. "Now the beast inside you is apparently heartless. Did you know that before the transformation!?" Soren said a bit aggravated. "Look I am sorry but with the situation the way it was it wasn't a good idea." Soren turned back and looked up. He was still standing there swing his keyblade having a fit like the child he was, shining bright gold he turned back to Kazen. "Now if you can suit up we can still turn this debacle into a win for us. We can follow him back. Even if he corridor's away." Soren had a smile on his face and waited for Kazen to get ready.

Syrus had been quite upon and entering the compound and entrance of the new recruit. Duncan had gone through a spill and Jericho and his friend had left to go find food. Syrus felt like he was running again. Finding food hiding out with a group of people. Except this time he knew them...or sorta knew them. Xerox then tossed a rifle to Duncan. It was a rifle that could fire paramagic. A brilliant weapon but needed to be refined especially to be as useful as a GF. The last part of that thought was put there by Phoenix herself as she had huffed at the comment Duncan made. He shoot Xerox a smirk as kinda a good job on the weapon and sucking up to the boss. Syrus began to walk with everyone as they followed Duncan. The newbie to the group began to ask about the rest of the group, smirking at the nickname she had given. "Well if you wanna know all you gotta do is ask and since you did you shall receive. I am Syrus Cromwell, SeeD rank six, duel gunblade specialist, and GF Phoenix with a wide range of paramagic." It was the basics and partially a lie since he in truth used real magic but emptied out his paramagic to make it seem like it was used. "So Ducncan do we know the actual contact here?" He asked as he smiled again.

Soren's heart stopped the moment he saw the beast appear on the ground. "Olympus stop everything!" He said loudly. He watched as the scene unfolded. Slamming the console with his fist Soren looked back up as his friend changed back into his human form. "I will be running more test of you later but for now it looks like your ass needs saving. Olympus equip me for air dive to the location." He said as he walked a few feet and then the floor opened up. Down he fell like he was a kid at a water park and soon he was out of the floating island base and into the sky. Shifting to one side to make sure that dumbass Vanitas couldn't plot his trajectory, Soren pulled a rip cord from his side and a parachute exploded right as he exited the clouds. No cover. Meaning if they decided to shoot back he was going to be a sitting duck. Equipped with his crossbow, shot guard, and phantom blade he was armed to the teeth in ranged weaponry. For now though he knew he had to get Kaz out of there. Aiming carefully he grabbed a smoke bomb from his cloak and threw it a few feet from each of them. Once it hit the ground it exploded and think white and gray smoke covered the area. Using his own intellect he aimed a much more lethal bomb towards they back of where Van would have been standing. The explosion was laud and direct. Van didn't know what to do except duck and cover. Soren landed quickly behind Kaz. "Come on we don't have alot of time!" He wanted to get out of there because he knew he couldn't take on Van and Kaz was in no shape for any type of fight
