If that’s the case, maybe a full reset is in order? I know it’s a bit extreme, but It may help. I can maybe find someone who can log important memories and knowledge that you can’t live without so that way you are at a clean slate.

From what I understand, your instincts should be a part of your memories. Maybe past events or taught manners that mold you as well as innate feeling that come from blood. An amalgamation of all of that. If they are fighting, is that a sign that something is missing? Or something is there that shouldn’t?

It seems memories were implanted. Remove those and either leave it at that or regain your old ones. The way it seems like, you have a good chance. New, fabricated memories can mess up people but are easier to remove than real ones.
