Nathan is what you would call a mothers dream. He is tall somewhat handsome and gets good grades. If he still had a mother she would probably be bragging about him to everyone who would listen and Nathan would of course sit red faced and deny every bit of praise shot his way, because such is Nathan humble to the point of delusion of his own worth. He refuses to put himself over anyone else because he believes that his triumphs is solely based on luck and great timing, rather than his hard work and diligence. The one thing he took away from his father was that if you wanted a good life you had to work hard, nothing was ever going to be handed to you. So therefore Nathan almost never slacks of when it comes to work or school which can be to the annoyance of his friends when he says no to the second party in a row.

Kind at heart Nathan will always be the one to listen to your stories good or bad because he is a people person who cares deeply for social interaction and he likes to have a large network of contacts and keep those bonds as strong as possible. He is to his own fault sometimes to trusting though as he likes to see the best in everyone even if they clearly doesn't have his best interest at heart and he has been let down because of this a lot of times. Though he feels like an positive outlook on life is what creates a great one and he will stick to that until the day he dies.

He has a kindness to him which makes him extremely approachable and that might be why he always gives a cheery "Hello!" at you when you pass him in the hall. Though his cheery exterior is somewhat hard to crack since he keeps his chewy personal center mostly to himself, only his closest friends know about his family situation and he likes to keep it that way.

Nathan always wanting to always make the right choice not only by him but for the people around him makes him very indecisive and that often results in him missing out on things that could better his future or others. This is a trait he is trying to shake of by being more carefree and take risks, but even in this he is unsure of what that is and when to be carefree. He is an notorious over-thinker and will focus on one small aspect and obsess over it until it's fixed or vanishes somehow.

He is also quite rancorous, if someone had been mean to him or otherwise done something that he does not agree with, he will hold it against that person until he is proven wrong. He can be a loyal friend but he can also drop you without a backwards glance if you piss him off enough.

So he and his sister Addison had the start of a quite normal and happy childhood until tragedy happened when he was six, his mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at a routine checkup. And though she put up a good fight for a year or so she eventually succumbed to the demon growing inside of her and she passed away. Naturally the family was broken down in despair Molly Matthews was the guiding light for so many people and mostly so for Nathan's father Liam who took the death of his darling wife so hard he went in to a depression so deep that he was not recognizable, he lost his job as an high school psychology teacher and subsequently lost the house in which they had been living in, which meant they had to move in with Nathan's grandparents.

His father never really recovered from his wife's death and spent most of the day lying in bed being unreachable and while Nathan would never go as far as to say that it was neglect, he cannot say that his father raised him. That lot fell on his loving grandparents. But as time wore on his grandparents grew weary of Liam's behavior and eventually made him go back to his teachers job, which meant they had to move away to Content, OH where a new school graciously hired his father. Uprooting Nathan just as he was about to enter high school, so when they arrived in this small town Nathan had a chance to start over and he was hell bent on creating a better life for him and his sister here! Fortunately Content High had some really awesome people and he got a few friends he was certain he wanted to keep for life.

With his father working all the time now to provide for them Nathan now had to take care of not only himself but also for his sister Addison, and why he would never say that this was a bother to him. He was robbed of his childhood as he had to grow up far too early than a normal boy should have to. Now in his late teens he is very protective of his sister and will go through anything to aid her in whatever she asks of. But his relationship with his father is forever tarnished and Nathan can't see a way that this could be mended.

Archie is of average height at 5'11'' tall, he has an athletic slim build that he maintains by swimming laps at the pool. His hair has a deep brown color and a slight curl to it, it varies in length depending on if he's taken the time to go to the hairdresser or not. For the moment he is keeping it quite long and somewhat free falling. Archie’s eyes are a deep green and are very easy to get lost in if they happen to lock on to yours. The only marking he has on his body is a tattoo of an arrow on his right forearm as a call back to his name.

When it comes to clothing one describe Archie’s style as ”Smart but casual”, you will often see him in a button down shirt in a fun pattern but with a hoodie over it or a t-shirt with a blazer paired with a pair of pale jeans or chinos, always slim fitted. He always says ”Whatever style you go for just make sure they fit for fucks sake!”.

At first you might not even notice him, sitting there at the far off table immersed either in a book or in his note pad scribbling away. But when you sit down and grab Archie’s attention he will be the brightest person in the room. He tries to keep every conversation he is in light and breezy, there is nothing he hates more than awkward silences so he will try to cover that up with humor and if that doesn’t work he’ll just go back to reading. Archie is laid back to the point of looking like he doesn’t care much what anyone thinks, but actually he cares a great deal about what people think of him especially his Phi Kappa Delta brothers. He always thinks twice before he says anything as to not rub anyone the wrong way or look stupid.

Being that calculated has made him well liked around campus and that is something Archie prides himself with. Even though he doesn’t deserve it all the time he can be very judgmental sometimes and it can take some time for him to like you back. If he for some reason does not enjoy your company he will be very dry and distant and probably make a comment about everything you say.

When it comes to work he wishes he could just sit all day translating old books or reading in a sun filled clearing, which makes him look lazy but that’s just because he is… well lazy and sometimes you will have literally drag him out of his room to make him do something, except if it’s for a party. He really enjoys to cut loose with his friends and is a demon on the dance floor when he gets a few drinks in him.

In the end Archie is just a fun guy to have around, the most important thing for him is to stay loyal to his friends and he will do his utmost to keep them happy. If he sees you down or unhappy he will be the first one to ask if he can do anything to make it better, usually by cooking you dinner. Because who doesn’t get cheered up by food?

HOMETOWN

Atlanta, Georgia{Birth-18}; Pennbrooke, Mississippi {18-now}

HISTORY

It was a sweltering July day in Atlanta when Archer was born to Jessica and Garret Perlman. When the couple brought their new baby boy home to show their 3 year old Oliver his new brother the little blond boy made a sour face and blurted out “No, take it back…we don’t need him!” which would foreshadow the brothers relationship in the years to come. The Perlman’s where one of those families you see in those neighborhood pamphlets, a huge house with a pristine lawn, two cars, two kids and a dog. Garret is a bigtime lawyer and partner at Perlman & Schultz, where they deal with a lot of high profile cases. Maybe this is why he has always been very strict with his boys and in his mind steering them in the right path. Archers mother Jessica is a painter and owns a gallery in midtown Atlanta and is the one who always keeps her boys grounded.

Archers brother Oliver takes after their father, he was football captain, married his high school sweetheart, goes to Harvard law. Basically the golden boy in their fathers’ eyes, so Archer has always felt like the black sheep.

The Perlman’s are a very Christian family, and growing up Archer had to go to church every single Sunday and listen to a preacher talk about how they should live their life in a god fearing way. This is why he had to suppress what he really felt in his earlier years, Archer has known he was gay since he was 14 but being raised in such a religious family where he had been told by the church that what he felt and what he was is sinful and wrong. But when he was 18 and just about to leave for Pennbrooke he couldn’t stand it anymore and he decided to come out to his family. It went about as good as you would think, his brother just laughed and his father just looked at him and uttered one sentence “Then you don’t need to come back to this house.” And stood up and left for his office. His mother looked at him tearfully before she rushed after his father. When he arrived at Pennbrooke Archer had received a text from his mother that said “I am sorry that I reacted that way, you will always be my son and I will always love you. But your father just need time to process this… I’m sorry”. Archer hasn’t been back to Atlanta since. He talks to his mother on the phone about once a week still and she supports him now that his dad has cut him off.

Archers freshman year of college was lived in fear for this reason, was everyone going to react this way? They were in the south after all. He kept to himself mostly but he realized that wasn’t him at all. After a while he couldn’t keep in anymore and his personality started to seep out when he was around his friends. Something that surprised him more than anything is that he got really in to the Greek life on campus and rushed Phi Kappa Delta and they accepted him as one of their brothers.

This is Archers last year at Pennbrooke and now he has to figure out what to do with his life after Pennbrooke. Can he patch things up with the rest of his family or will he have to start anew on his own after he’s graduated.

Archie likes to observe Anna at greek mixers because she rules over her sorority with a pink nail studded glove! The things she can make those girls do mesmerizes Archie, he really wishes he could be that assertive in some situations. But seeing that she's the head of the rivals he hasn't had much face time with Anna.

Avery is someone Archie really looks up to, she has that confidence in herself that Archie just cant muster up. So he likes to hang out with her becuse when he does she instills some sort of power in him to just be himself and stop caring so much about what other people think, even if it is just for an afternoon.

Archie has not spent too much time with Rose, seen her in passing and she seems sweet enough to him. Though what he's heard from his friends in Omega Psi Phi is that she puts immense pressure on herself and that everything must be perfect, and that's just not how Archie cares to live his life.

Choua and Archie met over one abysmal buffet table at another mixer. Archer cracked a joke that he could make better food blindfolded, to which Choua replied that she's believe it when she sees it. And thus the weekly dinners were born, they usually end with a karaoke session at the pub. Archer also always pesters her about teaching him swearwords in Hmong.

Archer really only knows Ashley through Choua, but they've danced at parties together and that's always fun!

Not much to say, he's seen her around the house and they have exchanged pleasantries in the mornings. Archer tries to distance himself from his neighbors conquests nowadays considering what happened last time.

Archer and Sophia met one night on his balcony after she and Dante had been on a "date", and they hit it of pretty much right away, they had similar humor and interests. Soon enough they became close friends, and Archer tried to tell her to not get to attached to Dante and to take everything he does and says with a grain of salt. But Archer does not like to meddle in other peoples business and he let the situation play out by it self, he still feels guilty about it.

Hunter represents everything Archie left behind in Georgia. The preachy comments, the backwards believes and the delusion of being pure for god. He knows what goes on in her mind when they see each other around campus and unfortunately Archer has heard a lot about her that she probably does not want people knowing... heck if he could choose he wouldn't know about them. They just do not see eye to eye on A LOT of things.

Dash is everything Archer would like to be, he is friendly, athletic and everyone like him. The picture of what a man should be according to Archie. But does he envy Dash or does he crave to be with him? That's what he needs to figure out, thus far he has tried to feign disinterest and half-assed attempts at flirting. Living in such tight quarters doesn't really help when he sees Coach walking around in just a towel.

What is there to say? The oddest couple of friends at Pennbrooke some would say and Archie would have to agree. At first Archer though Dante was the biggest dick he had ever met, and while that's still true he has grown very fond of his brother and will always protect him when people talk shit about him. In Archers eyes Dante is a lost little puppy who doesn't really know what he wants and archer feels very protective. Archer also has the habbit of taking care of Dante's girls in the morning handing them a cup of coffee as they step out on the balcony in the mornings and even letting them slip out through his room if they want a quick escape.

CJ and Archer is PKD's resident word battlers, combining sarcasm and dry humor they will destroy anyone who try to come for any of their fraternity brothers. Archer likes how chill CJ is, and how they can just lounge around in the common room without it ever becoming awkward.

Arches was assigned to be Mike's big brother last year and they stayed close ever since. Archer sees through Mikes stupid bro act, he calls bullshit every time they talk in private. He sees that Mike is insecure and he sympathizes because he has been there. Archer makes sure Mike sees the huge eye rolls he gives whenever Mike utters the words "Saaaaah Braaah!".

Archer doesn't really understand why Isaiah seems to not like anyone or anything, why join a fraternity if you don't want to join in on any of the activities?
