Archie is of average height at 5'11'' tall, he has an athletic slim build that he maintains by swimming laps at the pool. His hair has a deep brown color and a slight curl to it, it varies in length depending on if he's taken the time to go to the hairdresser or not. For the moment he is keeping it quite long and somewhat free falling. Archie’s eyes are a deep green and are very easy to get lost in if they happen to lock on to yours. The only marking he has on his body is a tattoo of an arrow on his right forearm as a call back to his name.

When it comes to clothing one describe Archie’s style as ”Smart but casual”, you will often see him in a button down shirt in a fun pattern but with a hoodie over it or a t-shirt with a blazer paired with a pair of pale jeans or chinos, always slim fitted. He always says ”Whatever style you go for just make sure they fit for fucks sake!”.

At first you might not even notice him, sitting there at the far off table immersed either in a book or in his note pad scribbling away. But when you sit down and grab Archie’s attention he will be the brightest person in the room. He tries to keep every conversation he is in light and breezy, there is nothing he hates more than awkward silences so he will try to cover that up with humor and if that doesn’t work he’ll just go back to reading. Archie is laid back to the point of looking like he doesn’t care much what anyone thinks, but actually he cares a great deal about what people think of him especially his Phi Kappa Delta brothers. He always thinks twice before he says anything as to not rub anyone the wrong way or look stupid.

Being that calculated has made him well liked around campus and that is something Archie prides himself with. Even though he doesn’t deserve it all the time he can be very judgmental sometimes and it can take some time for him to like you back. If he for some reason does not enjoy your company he will be very dry and distant and probably make a comment about everything you say.

When it comes to work he wishes he could just sit all day translating old books or reading in a sun filled clearing, which makes him look lazy but that’s just because he is… well lazy and sometimes you will have literally drag him out of his room to make him do something, except if it’s for a party. He really enjoys to cut loose with his friends and is a demon on the dance floor when he gets a few drinks in him.

In the end Archie is just a fun guy to have around, the most important thing for him is to stay loyal to his friends and he will do his utmost to keep them happy. If he sees you down or unhappy he will be the first one to ask if he can do anything to make it better, usually by cooking you dinner. Because who doesn’t get cheered up by food?

HISTORY

It was a sweltering July day in Atlanta when Archer was born to Jessica and Garret Perlman. When the couple brought their new baby boy home to show their 3 year old Oliver his new brother the little blond boy made a sour face and blurted out “No, take it back…we don’t need him!” which would foreshadow the brothers relationship in the years to come. The Perlman’s where one of those families you see in those neighborhood pamphlets, a huge house with a pristine lawn, two cars, two kids and a dog. Garret is a bigtime lawyer and partner at Perlman & Schultz, where they deal with a lot of high profile cases. Maybe this is why he has always been very strict with his boys and in his mind steering them in the right path. Archers mother Jessica is a painter and owns a gallery in midtown Atlanta and is the one who always keeps her boys grounded.

Archers brother Oliver takes after their father, he was football captain, married his high school sweetheart, goes to Harvard law. Basically the golden boy in their fathers’ eyes, so Archer has always felt like the black sheep.

The Perlman’s are a very Christian family, and growing up Archer had to go to church every single Sunday and listen to a preacher talk about how they should live their life in a god fearing way. This is why he had to suppress what he really felt in his earlier years, Archer has known he was gay since he was 14 but being raised in such a religious family where he had been told by the church that what he felt and what he was is sinful and wrong. But when he was 18 and just about to leave for Pennbrooke he couldn’t stand it anymore and he decided to come out to his family. It went about as good as you would think, his brother just laughed and his father just looked at him and uttered one sentence “Then you don’t need to come back to this house.” And stood up and left for his office. His mother looked at him tearfully before she rushed after his father. When he arrived at Pennbrooke Archer had received a text from his mother that said “I am sorry that I reacted that way, you will always be my son and I will always love you. But your father just need time to process this… I’m sorry”. Archer hasn’t been back to Atlanta since. He talks to his mother on the phone about once a week still and she supports him now that his dad has cut him off.

Archers freshman year of college was lived in fear for this reason, was everyone going to react this way? They were in the south after all. He kept to himself mostly but he realized that wasn’t him at all. After a while he couldn’t keep in anymore and his personality started to seep out when he was around his friends. Something that surprised him more than anything is that he got really in to the Greek life on campus and rushed Phi Kappa Delta and they accepted him as one of their brothers.

This is Archers last year at Pennbrooke and now he has to figure out what to do with his life after Pennbrooke. Can he patch things up with the rest of his family or will he have to start anew on his own after he’s graduated.

Well you wouldn't be that wrong since two actors would spawn kids that joined drama club or art. Elliot could not be further from that, he despised drama club and he can't paint to save his life. Elliot prides himself on being more grounded in logic and hard work, he has always been a hard worker and will finish everything he starts. He also sees what the rest of his family does for work is ridiculous.

So for the first few years of Elliot's life they were living the sweet life his parents were the sweethearts of the press and Elliot was featured in a lot of different magazines as a baby. To bad that his father had an affinity for booze and gambling, resulting in George getting the family in to a lot of debt. This caused a rift between his parents and they began to argue almost every night.

His family has been in debt most of his life, but still they try to keep up the appearance. With a lifestyle that they cannot sustain they had to rely on family and friends to bail them out of hard times, which made Elliot resent his parents even more. At a young age Elliot decided he would carve out a path of his own and work for his own money and make a life for himself. At the age of 12 he got his first job as a buss boy and kept working his way up after school and on the weekends and now he works in the kitchen as a line cook. He has been saving up in secret, because he's scared that if his family finds out he has money to spend they'd ask him to help pay for their mistakes.

The last straw for Elliot came when they sent Lincoln to college with money they had to beg from family and friends. He had never been so embarrassed in his whole life even at the age of 14. It was a gloomy July day when Elliot Conrad Horton came in to the world at the Salem University Hospital. Being part of one of the founding families of the town you live in sure has its perks and Elliot has had a pretty easy life with loving parents and siblings who he doesn't want to stab, so he can't complain... because that would just be rude. But coming from such a prominent family the pressure that has been and still is on the Horton siblings is quite palpable.

In school Elliot did always try his best and worked hard to at least be in the top half of his class, he might not have been the best at what people might call the “right” subjects like science and math. But he did excel in music and art and of course home economics which was his favorite elective. This is where he found his love for cooking.

When he confided in his parents that he wanted to pursue a career in the culinary field he couldn't help but see a twinge of disappointment in their faces, but of course they supported his choice of going to culinary school instead of an ivy league like his older siblings. Elliot has felt nothing but supported by his parents with his choices ever since though. Even though a lot of people don't think that someone from such a respectable family should be in the service industry. This makes him feel like he's still letting his parents down by not going in to the field of law or medicine like most of his family.

He loves his sisters more than anything, being wedged between them he feels like he is both protected and also has to be the one who takes care of them.

Archer turned around and walked backwards as he looked at Dante as he was still in his car, Sophia apparently really gets under Dante's skin. Archer snapped his fingers as he kept walking to get Dante's attention when his friend looked up Archer made a mock tear motion with his finger and then made a locking motion to signal Dante to lock the car when he was done... doing whatever he was plotting. Archer turned around again to face the bonfire and walked up to the little refreshments area and grabbed a beer and looked at the spread of food. His face lit up when he spotted a tray of egg rolls which had obviously been made by Choua, it was easy to see when you looked at the rest of the snacks. He grabbed a few of them, and as soon as he took his third one Choua's scolding tone could be heard.

“Share! Don't take too many!” She frowned at him and snatched his beer out of his hand, Archer chuckled as he tried to swallow what was left of the egg roll. “I'm sorry Cho! You know I can't handle myself around your food! Hey, come dance later!” he yelled as he went further in to the crowd of people dancing. In the crowd he bumped in to some of the girls from one of his creative writing classes, they squealed with joy when they saw him and begged him to stay and dance and Archer felt he had to comply even if it was to Miley. After a few songs Archer felt way to hot so he took of his shirt and threw it on a nearby rock, he'd find it later... hopefully. He continued to dance with the girls for a while but then returned to the drinks to grab a new beer from the cooler, he bent over to take a closer look at his choices.

“Hey there handsome! That's a sight for sore eyes.” A voice came from behind, Archer straightened up and spun around. Standing there in front of him was Theo Kaiser, they guy Archer had been dating, or where they dating? Theo seemed to think they where at least. Archer smiled nervously at the boy in front of him, Theo is very tall and muscular with a strong jaw and perfectly styled hair. Their relationship had started out innocently enough with a few looks in the library which led to a few kisses behind the library that lead to some night time visits to Theo's dorm room far away from Dante's prying eyes. Archer saw it as something fun and frivolous and he liked the feeling of being loved and needed, but lately Theo had shown more intense feelings and that made Archer nervous. He didn't really understand why someone like Theo would even go for someone like Archer.

“Hello Theo.” Archer said as he ran a hand through his unruly hair. Theo scoffed and pulled Archer in to a big hug and planted a passionate kiss on Archer's lips. Archer stiffened as he was still not really comfortable with public display of affection in that way, he knew that people probably didn't care but it still made him uncomfortable. He pulled away from Theo with maybe a little to much force, and looked around. As expected no one was really watching “What's the mater? You're so stiff.” Theo walked around Archer and put his hands on his shoulders and started to kneed, already feeling uncomfortable Archer pulled away again with a nervous laugh

“Uhm, I just need to...find...” He frantically looked around for a reason to escape and finally he spotted Sophia sitting with some people “Yeah I need to talk to Sophia she's... uh really upset!” he put on a apologetic look on his face and kissed him quickly before he almost jogged over to where Sophia where sitting. Archer smiled at the people she was sitting with “Can I just steal her for like one minute? I'll bring her right back!” He said holding up a finger with one hand and grabbing Sophia by the arm with the other he pulled her on to a more private log that surrounded the bonfire.

“Dude I think I'm in deep trouble!” Archer whined trying to avoid Theo's stare by staring at his friends soft face. “I should probably have told you sooner but I've been kind of seeing someone, don't look but he's standing over there” He nodded his head ever so slightly in Theo's direction. “Anyway, it's moving way fast and I kind of want to bail...but not like break him!” He glanced at Sophia “You know... like... ugh” Archer groaned and laid back of the log and put his back on the still warm sand. He looked back up to Sophia “Help me?”

Finishing his beer with one last swig Nathan threw his empty bottle in one of the bins that Avery had put out for trash. Say what you will about Avery but the kid knew how to throw a party, with a glance around Nathan bopped his head along to the beat of the music. The patio had turned in to a makeshift dance floor with groups of friends standing and dancing together, Nathan smiled and wondered when his dance crew would show up. He decided he wanted another beer and walked in to the kitchen to grab another one, when he got inside he saw that a few of his classmates had arrived. He made the rounds saying hello and talking to some of the new people that had joined the party meanwhile looking around for his friends, no luck in that department yet though. He had hoped that at least Sam would have joined him by now. After dodging a third conversation about where he was going to college Nathan decided to head outside to the patio again.

He leaned on the railing and looked out over the backyard, was leaving really the best choice for him? He could feel the doubtful thoughts eating away at him again, could he really leave his sister her alone with their spacey dad that sometimes forgot to put on a shirt under his jacket before he left for work? Nathan sighed and shook his head in a futile attempt to clear it. Yes... he had to leave! If worst comes to worst Addison could just go back to live with their grandparents. He nodded to himself hoping his sister felt the same way, then again she didn't know that he wouldn't be returning at the end of the summer.

Nathan smiled and let out a relieved breath, finally he wouldn't feel so alone at this party, but what kind of surprise could Sammi have cooked up now? He quickly sent his reply which consisted of a thumbs up and a poop emoji. After a few minutes he herd the familiar voice of one third of the trifecta

“Nate!” Sammi squealed as she approached him at an alarming speed, Nathan braced himself for impact but she merely jumped in to the seat next to him before embracing him in one of her signature hugs. “What’s up, love? Anything interesting going on?” she said as she swung her legs up on the couch to rest them on his legs.

“Oh you mean in the...” He checked his watch “4 hours since we last saw each other?” Nathan smiled “Nah you know dinner with the grandparents, the crippling disappointment in my father just getting worse.” he continued and let out a laugh to let Sammi know that he was mostly joking. “What about you Sammay? How was dinner with Eleanor?” Nathan asked while ha was tapping his hands on Sammi's legs to the beat of the new song that just came on.
