Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! Or Josie! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 17 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

For what felt like the hundredth time, Geoffery felt his jaw crack with the strain of yet another yawn as he forced his reluctant body into the motions of preparing for a siege, strapping into place first a leather jerkin over his cotton tunic before sliding a coat of chainmail over this. He had just picked up his sword belt to circle it around his waist when the flap of his tent was pushed open and a young woman stepped inside, drawing his attention.

She was short, well over a head and a half below Geoffery, and slender with porcelain like skin that gave her a fragile breakable appearance. She had a cluster of freckles across the bridge of her nose, cheeks, arms, and though it was hidden behind her leather armor, her shoulders, and legs were also sprinkled with the spots. Her hair was long, straight, and a fiery orange in color, pulled up in a ponytail, with bangs framing her angular face. Her eyes, a sky blue in color that darkened slightly the closer in towards her pupils The color went, were currently curious as they looked him over, brightening almost an instant later with amusement.

"Still not ready yet old man? Too early for you? I thought all you farmer types were always going on about waking up before the morning sun." She lilted playfully, arching a brow.

Geoffery snorted at this, buckling his belt into place and adjusting it so that his sword fell to his hip just right before sitting down on the edge of his cot to tug on his boots. "We can't all be as young and chipper as you, Vanessa." He retorted in a deep, husky voice. "And when I talked about beating the sun, it was in reference to rising before it. We still went to bed with the sun like any sane person." He chuckled, getting to his feet and following the young woman out into the evening light of the camp.

Vanessa gave her eyes a very obvious roll, but quickly hooked One of her arms through Geoffery's, giving the older man a playful bump with her shoulder as she did so. "Sure, sure, Papa." She sighed dramatically, though the effect was diminished by the fact that she giggled a moment later. "I'm glad you became a mercenary before I realized you were a farmer. I can't begin to imagine trying to live as a farmer's daughter."

Briefly running one of his big hands across his thinning dark brown hair, so unlike The fiery color of the woman next to him, and the stubble that had begun to form on his cheeks, Geoffery had to agree with his daughter on that one, releasing a short boom of laughter. "No, I can't quite picture you taking care of cows and chickens and learning how to cook in the kitchen."

Vanessa wrinkled her nose at the very idea, promptly steering them in the direction of the campfire and picking up a few sweet rolls to munch on so that she didn't have to linger too long on such unpleasant ideas.

Together, the two threaded their way through the camp, heading in the direction of the Captain's tent, getting there just in time to see one of The lieutenant's ducking inside and they quickly followed the aged goblin through the flap, ranging themselves around the table and listening to the last handful of instructions before the siege on the keep began in earnest. Vanessa's eyes glinted with excitement at the opportunity to prove herself, having been promoted not long before their current job, her hand resting on the pommel of her sword as if about to pull it free right then and there.

As the group hesitated, somberly receiving their Captain's warning about not harming those who did not resist, Geoffery nodded solemnly, , A hard blazing look in his dark blue eyes. "We'll not let you down Captain." He vowed, A murmur of agreement running through the other officers around him. As one, they filed from the tent, words of luck and fair fighting passing from one to another, before each moved off in the direction of their troops, adrenaline already beginning to flow into bodies at the almost electric feel to the air. It was now or never. They would either win a great victory, or die trying.

Stumble away! Haha. I don't mind either way, just have fun. :)
Name: Kaylia Vandilla
Gender: FemaleAge: Twenty-three
Appearance: Kaylia is quite tall, slender and shapely with long toned muscles, a thin face with a long nose and full lips, all covered in tanned sun-kissed skin. Her hair is thick and a sun-bleached blonde in color. It is pulled up into a loose ponytail that falls to the middle of her back. Twisted into her hair are several finger width braids, many of which have Green or white beads woven randomly into or on the end of various pieces. Two braids fall to either side of her face and are shorter than the rest of her hair, resting at just below her shoulders. Her outfits mainly consist of pale green or white shirts that lace up at the chest and throat, with long voluminous sleeves that gather at her wrists with tight cuffs. Over this she usually wears a dark green or brown tunic, That has no sleeves, a v-neck, and usually falls to the middle of her thighs, with slits on either side up to her hips. Her pants are a dark brown relatively thick leather, with pale leather crisscrossing along the outer seems. Her boots are a slightly lighter brown leather, coming up to the middle of her calves, with a section that is folded over several inches and held into place by silver fastenings. around her waist is a wide black belt with a long thin black and silver sheath at her left hip. Both sheath and belt are usually on the outside of her tunic. On her right earlobe dangles a small silver chain and a small teardrop emerald, with a matching silver ring on the middle finger of her right hand with a circular emerald on its face. Matching both of these, her eyes are wide and almond shaped with bright green irises flecked with silver.
As the heat Of the day finally began to loosen its grip On the land, The birds having their last go at a Serenade, Kaylia Was finding that the dip Of the sun Into the horizon was increasing the amount of tightness In her shoulders with every degree. The death of the sun as it gave birth to the night Was always something that had made the muscles in her stomach tight and her nervous agitation increase, even if she couldn't remember why that was. Her stallion snorted softly beneath her, turning his black head to lip At one of her sleeves In a concerned sort of way, dark eye Focusing for a moment on her face. One corner of her mouth twitched up and she gratefully scratched at the side of the horse's nose. "I'm fine. Look where you're Going before we both end up in the river." The horse whickered softly as he turned forward once again, as if listening to his rider. The improbability of such a thing helped Kay feel a little better as it made her smile widen briefly.

The two had been Traveling all day, Taking a delivery of horses out to A small farm between Glayde Village, a large town nestled at the base of the Ochre Mountain range along the eastern border of the kingdom, and the domain of a fishing population bordering the edge of a lake called Vista Shore, having met the owner of the ranch the day before in Marivienna City, the largest city in the northern providence of Liodia Kingdom. And although She had made it out with no problem, she had foolishly thought that she could make it back to Horse Grass Ranch where she currently lived by nightfall. She hadn't been Expecting the monster That had exploded from the surface of the river, inexplicably shooting Something that looked like a rock the same size as her head in her direction. Her horse hadn't been too keen To stick around and find out. She had barely glimpsed what she thought looked similar to a hunchbacked frog for part of a second before she was more concerned with gripping the reins and holding on as the stallion turned tail And headed in the exact opposite direction of the way she had wanted to go. Sighing Softly, Kaylia gently patted Storm on his shoulder. She didn't blame her partner, she probably would have run in the opposite direction had She been given the choice Herself. But It did put them into an interesting situation, one that quite logically didn't sit well with her. As her thoughts were tugged Back in that direction, she found herself wishing all the more fervently that she hadn't been thrown into a situation that put her so off course.

First, there was the unsettled and rather nervous agitation that she felt when the darkness came. But secondly, Kaylia had overheard several conversations back in the city about farmer's crops beginning to fail them, shriveling and turning black as if scorched, where as they had been healthy and flourishing only the day before. Even their animals health seemed to be declining, getting sick, and weak, driven to insanity and attacking their owners unprovoked, only to die hours later gagging on black bile or being overcome by throbbing dark boils that seemed to be consuming their bodies. Rumors had even begun to spread, always uttered with Wilde eyed expressions and nervous gestures, about how even a few people were beginning to come down with strange illnesses that not even the most skilled medicine worker could heal. The strange and frightening rumors had begun to produce shadowy images in the woman's mind, to the point where she thought she saw half crazed creatures crawling towards her behind every bush and hill, intent on her death. The idea was silly and childish, part of her understood that, but her uncertainty of why she feared the night so much added fuel to the wild and unfounded imaginings.

Kaylia pulled up on the reins As she came level with a pair of short scrubby Looking trees, swinging her leg behind her and sliding down from the saddle. After Removing the bit from Storm's mouth, determinedly ignoring the way her hands shook as she did so, and putting it and the reins into a pouch on his saddle, She dug around in the bags until she produced a hobble, hooking it around one of the stallion's front legs before unfastening her bedroll and beginning preparations for her camp. When she finally had her bed to her liking and a small fire crackling in a comforting way, Kay went to Storm and unlatched his saddle, allowing it to fall to the ground before collecting a brush from within another pouch and beginning to rub her partner down for the night, forcing herself to concentrate on every motion she made to keep herself from allowing her thoughts to slip back into nightmares.
Hey, no worries! There is really no rush. :3
once again, the yellow dog blinked her dark eyes, looking somewhat perplexed and then a little worried. Her gaze momentarily drifted over the young man's shoulder, as if looking around for someone else, but quickly flickered back to his face."Umm..." She put a paw to her mouth as she studied Oliver. Then suddenly, she began to laugh, the sound bright and cheerful as the bells she wore on her ribbon. "oh, stop joking around!" She said cheerfully in between bursts of laughter. "I didn't know you enjoyed such teasing. You know exactly who you are. , Of course were not mistaken. Like I said, you arrived exactly when and how you told us you would be arriving.."

Around her, The other animals had begun to look agitated and confused, glancing around at one another with varying expressions of alarm. But when the dog started to laugh, each of them gained a relieved air, each relaxed and began to smile. The wolf bumped the fox with an elbow and the two shared a grin. The rabbit cast a disparaging look at the dog with a backwards twitch of one of his long ears, even as he placed a reassuring paw around the leopard's shoulders, the fluffy cat looking as if she might burst into tears.
Allowed the briefest of glimpses into the brilliant white office as the door was opened, Anise had to fight back the sudden temptation to step away from the towering Oracle Knight that blocked her view a moment later and gave her a nod, gesturing with one gauntleted hand for her to enter. Skirting around him with a murmured word of gratitude, her dark brown gaze immediately fell on the young boy sitting behind the desk. His resemblance to the former Fon Master was striking, even if The similarities were not surprising, and she found herself studying his pale and delicate features for a moment longer then might have been polite. Cheeks going slightly pink, Anise hurried forward and settled into the offered chair, folding her hands into her lap to resist the urge of smacking herself in the forehead.

"That's right!" She chirped happily. "Anise Tatlin at your service Fon Master Ion!"

Surreptitiously, she glanced around at the office, the obvious signs of luxury and comfort making her itch with envy. Her insides squirmed with excitement and anticipation add all the opportunities this job was opening up to her, her thoughts momentarily flooded with the imaginings of all of the important, and possibly Rich, people she was going to have the chance to meet.

Ion then extended his own congratulations to her, making Anise practically glow with pleasure, a brilliant smile breaking out across her face. "Aw, thank you Ion!" She beamed. "I'm honored to get the chance to be a Fon Master Guardian, of course. I'll do my best to keep you safe!"
As the train chugged back into life and slowly built up speed and pulled away from the station once again, A lone passenger having disembarked and walked out the front door, several figures that had been milling around the cobblestone Area in front of the building perked up with interest and quickly moved forward, forming a loose semi circle around the human.

The first to speak, her voice low and pleasant, was a white she wolf with a brown stripe running up the top of her muzzle, Fluffy brown fur spilling out of her pointed ears, and a pair of bright light blue eyes. "Hey, is that him?" She whispered to a maroon squirrel with a half white face and tail by her side, his own orange eyes focused intently on the newcomer.

"He said this was supposed to be his train." Murmured A black and silver fox on the wolf's other side, pink nose twitching with interest and silvery green eyes bright with excitement.

"then why isn't anyone talking to him?" Queried a light brown rabbit with light orange and yellow markings on his ears and paws in a worried tone, His dark green eyes concerned.

From between him and a teal colored snow leopard with pale pink and black flourette spots suddenly stepped a bright yellow and white dog that resembled a shitzu, her hair pulled up into a poof on the top of her head and tied with a ribbon adorned with bells that jingled with her every step. She blinked her large dark brown eyes, Appearing to be slightly apprehensive but kind. Lifting her voice, she called out to the small crowd. "just like we practiced! One, two, three!"

"WELCOME TO CRESCENT LANDING!" The group of animals suddenly shouted enthusiastically, clapping their paws together for a few seconds.

"i'm so glad you could make it safely Mayor!" The yellow dog stated happily as she took another step forward. "and exactly the time that you said you would arrive." She continued with a brilliant smile, completely unaware that she might have the wrong person.
