Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! Or Josie! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 17 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Dishes carefully put away in the cupboards, several recipe books lined up along the back of one counter, an empty vase waiting for her to fill it with flowers, Rain was feeling good about the progress she was making with her unpacking. She was humming softly again, sorting through her baking utensils when another knock at her front door surprised her. Accidentally dropping a large wooden mixing spoon to the floor with a clatter, the pegasus mare had a trace of pink in her cheeks by the time she opened the door.

"Sorry, I..." Her apology died on her lips as she looked out into the pony free space outside of the door, her expression turning to one of confusion as she glanced quickly around. Finally, her gaze fell on yet another box waiting for her, this one much smaller proportionally then the last package she had received. She didn't have high hopes that it was any of the furniture she was waiting for as she reached out and picked up the envelope resting on top. She meant to pick up the box easily and her other hoof, but was met with a surprising amount of resistance at the unexpected weight of the box. Somewhat perplexed, Rain's eyebrows Drew together as she reevaluated the package on her step. Setting aside the envelope for the moment, she began to tug and shove the box until it was far enough inside that she could close her door once more.

Frowning at the visible lack of any return address once again, Rainy Day hesitated for a moment before she opened the lid, peeking in side and falling back on her rump in shock. "what in Equestria is going on?" She murmured, blinking down at the Collection of coins before her. Her brain slowly seemed to kick back into gear and reminded her that there had been an envelope on top of the package, her head automatically craning around in search of it. Was this some sort of surprise gift from her parents? She didn't think they could afford to part with such a some... Her legs felt a little numb as she fumbled to open up the letter, half convinced that she would spot her mothers familiar cursive...

She wasn't entirely sure how long it was that she sat there on her living room floor, staring at the piece of paper in her hooves, but it took a great deal of effort for Rain to pull her mind out of the shocked state it had been forcibly shoved into as she had finished reading the contents of the envelope. Now she blinked, turning both of her ears back and giving her head several shakes. 'This has got to be some sort of joke. Equestria in danger? And it's fate rests in my hooves?' She thought wildly, laughing sardonically after a moment. "I'm nopony special..." Shoving the letter roughly back into the envelope, she got to her hooves and began pacing around the room,, occasionally glancing at the envelope as she thought over its contents, the bits in the box, The likelihood of a crisis... It was all so outlandish. Wouldn't Princess Celestia be better suited to handle the danger that threatened the entire country? Princess Luna? They were powerful Allicorns for pony's sake! What made her so much more suited to saving Equestria?

Coming to an abrupt halt, the mare stamped a forehoof, Snorting Saufley. This had to be some sort of elaborate prank! And as she thought about it, she found herself blinking with surprise. The sort of prank someone such as Wincent might construct. Hadn't he tried to trick her earlier that he had been allergic to chocolate moments before shoving a couple cookies loaded with the stuff into his mouth? Hadn't he joked with her about a pony from the past sending a mysterious package to her? Making her believe that the world was in danger and she needed to do something about it seemed like a joke right up his alley. Tail swishing back and forth as she thought over her hypothesis, she wasn't entirely sure how she felt about the idea. Slightly irritated, but mostly she felt like laughing. Was her life here in Ponyville going to turn into a series of never ending pranks and jokes? Sighing at the idea and feeling preemptively tired, she had just picked up the letter and was on the verge of crumbling it up and throwing it in the waste basket when her gaze fell on the box of bits...

'Nopony would risk so much money to make a prank more realistic... would they?' She wondered, hesitating again before she abruptly snorted and crumpled up the letter, tossing it into the wastebasket as she resolved to follow The instructions within, see the prank out to the end before she gave the bits back to Vince. Doing that didn't seem like it could hurt. She liked a good joke, but she wondered if she would have to talk to her newest friend about toning down The amount somewhat...

Glancing towards a Clock that she had hung on the wall, Rain released a yelp as she saw the time, hurrying to brush out her main and tail in order to appear halfway decent for her meeting with the mayor before rushing out the front door, locking it behind her and taking to the streets at a quick trot before flapping her wings and taking to the air, Hoping she didn't get lost on her way to town hall. Five minutes was really cutting it close for her, she was normally the type of pony who gave her self plenty of time before an appointment, but the letter had been so distracting, she had lost track of the time completely. Giving her head a shake, she tried to put the matter out of her mind, focusing at the task at hoof.

Finding town hall had been easier than she had anticipated, the building conspicuous as it sat next to its neighbors near town square, but Rain Felt a little flustered at the information written on a large sign taped to the front door.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but Townhall is currently undergoing renovations. An emergency with the plumbing occurred earlier today and the building is unsafe at this time. If you have a prearranged appointment, please seek our staff at our temporary location in the Ponyville park near the gazebos. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

Ponyville had a park? Rain blinked morosely at the sign for another moment before she took to the air once more. @Least having wings was a benefit in situations like this, she could easily locate a park from a higher vantage point... She hoped. Her worries were quickly unfounded, the park coming into view only seconds after she had taken to the sky, the gazebos clearly visible. Using them as a landmark, the Pegasus hurried towards the Open green space, casting an anxious look towards the clock tower as she did so. Only two minutes until two o'clock, she hated cutting it so close. Landing a few yards from the nearest of the gazebos, Rainy Day had just enough time to glance around in search of another sign that might pointer in the right direction when there was a sudden explosion, thousands of pieces of confetti flying into the air, and a horde of ponies suddenly jumped out and surrounded her.

"SURPRISE!!" They shouted in unison.

Rain Felt like her heart had almost jumped out of her chest with shock and barely had time to stammer "Wh-what...?" before one of the ponies suddenly darted forward. There was just enough time for the Pegasus to register a pair of bright excited blue eyes and a copious amount of pink mane before the mare quite suddenly broke out into a song.

"welcome, welcome to Ponyville! We're glad you came our way!
Welcome to Ponyville! We hope that you can say
That you are just excited as us
To celebrate this day!
Welcome, welcome to Ponyville!
Welcome, welcome, welcome to Ponyville today!"

Somehow, impossibly, inexplicably, the bubblegum colored mare not only managed to sing her song, but managed to cause another small Canon to explode with confetti, play three separate instruments at different times, and bounce back and forth as if she had Springs attached to her hooves. She giggled as she came to a stop in front of Rain, The Pegasus only then realizing that her mouth had fallen open in shock and hastily closing it.

"Oh, you should see your face right now! It's hilarious!" The pink mare exclaimed with yet another giggle. "i'll just have to settle for you seeing a picture." She continued, suddenly pulling out a Camera and snapping a picture before Rain could protest. "I'm Pinkie Pie, Ponyville's very own party pony oh, it's so good to finally meet you! You, of course, are the guest of honor, Rainy Day! Were you surprised? Because I sent you that letter about the meeting with the mayor, but it wasn't real, I just wanted you to come to the park so I could throw you a surprise party!" Pinkie trilled excitedly, seeming to never take a breath and not appearing to be coming to a stop anytime soon.

Fortunately, another pony cleared their throat and placed a hoof on Pinkie's shoulder. "give her a moment to catch her breath Pinkie! It looks like our surprise really startled her. Hello dear. I'm Mrs. Cake. Welcome to our little town." The other mare said kindly, offering a smile.

"Th-Thank you. Thank you everypony. I... I wasn't expecting anything like this." Rain finally managed, glancing around at all the happy faces and finally blushing and dropping her gaze.
Bump~
Actually going to bump this again. One of the stories I had started to plot out fell through. So I'm looking for another fan to play with . :3
Allergic to chocolate? Rain's eyes widened slightly at the very idea. She wondered how she could take back the cookies, or why Vince didn't just give them back to her, but ended up feeling slightly at odds with herself, indecisive. She still hadn't come to a conclusion as they laughed over the idea of somepony from the past setting up a delivery on the same day she happened to move to town. The idea was ridiculous, but it would probably make for a good story, she mused to herself, and had just been about to roll her eyes and admit that she had absolutely no idea how to even go about erasing anyone's memories when Wincent quite abruptly opened his mouth and shoved the cookies inside.

For the space of two heartbeats, Rainy Day stared at the other Pegasus, mouth open slightly. And then he collapsed to the floor. With a loud Yelp of alarm, she had just managed to stumble forward a few steps win Wincent suddenly sprang up onto his hooves, laughing. She was a little dumbfounded, which was probably why she could only muster a blink in response first. Then her ears turned back and she sat down on her haunches, offering a weak smile as he began to apologize. "It's... It's OK. You got me." She chuckled softly, giving her head a shake. She was surprised that he and his friends didn't all have heart attacks on a daily basis. "Yeah, yeah, It was nice to meet you too. Thanks again for helping bring the box inside." She finally managed as the green pony excused himself, walking to the front door with a wave. She lifted one of her front hooves in a wave of her own, Smiling once more. "Bye Vince."

Sighing softly as she heard the other take flight, Rain gave her head a shake. "What a goof." She chuckled, Standing up once again and lifting her front hooves towards the box, pausing before taking the string off to read the address label. That was strange. This wasn't something from her home in Winnyapolis after all. There didn't seem to be a return label at all. But it did have her name on it... Taking the string between her teeth, the mare tugged it free, Opening the box with an intense feeling of curiosity.

"What the hay?" She exclaimed softly with surprise as she pulled out the yellow curtains, blinking with bewilderment as she held them up. The sound of something hitting the floorboards softly had her looking down again, an envelope catching her attention almost immediately. Settling the curtains back in the box, she picked it up, inspecting it for a moment before opening it. There was nothing on the outside, but on the inside there was a single piece of paper.

I hope that these may bring a bit of sunshine into your life and into your home. I do hope that you enjoy them.

"... That's... weird." Rain said slowly, glancing back towards the curtains suspiciously. Was this a joke? Maybe another one of Wincent's pranks? Something to make her believe that a pony from the past had actually sent her a package... That sounded like the most logical conclusion. How... silly. With another soft laugh, she gave her head a shake and went to hang the curtains on the wall in front of the window.
The stallion didn't seem to need as much help getting the box inside as she might have if she had been attempting to do so on her own, rain noted, feeling rather in adequate as she simply shuffled backwards with her front hooves tucked under the edge of the box. When the other pony finally asked if the spot they had made it to was good enough, her cheeks were colored slightly pink with embarrassment.

"Yes, that's perfect." She reassured, taking half a step back as the box was lowered to the floor boards. Hoping to hide some of the blush, she quickly turned towards her kitchen, ignoring his insistence that he really didn't need a cookie. Reaching for a box of homemade chocolate chip cookies that her brother had given to her, she collected a couple of them in a hoof and happily offered them to the stallion as she returned to him. "it's the least I could do to say thanks. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Wincent. I'm sure you've already guessed, but I'm Rainy Day, just Rain if you want to get around the mouthful." She smiled.

Cookies given, the mare had just begun to crane her neck to get a look at the return label on the box when Wincent started to say something about it, drawing her attention onto his face. She blinked in surprise at his explanation of the delivery, talking about how a pony in the past had left instructions about taking the box to this specific address on this very day. She stared at him for several seconds, trying to decide if he was pulling her leg or not, before she released a laugh. Probably better to play along with the joke then be rude, she was fairly positive the package was from her parents. But rudeness wasn't in her nature, she would much rather play along.

"Oh, that's very good to hear. And here I was thinking that my Great Uncle Stormfront had been going crazy when he wrote in his journal about sending a box to a place that didn't even exist yet. That's why I bought this house you know. I wouldn't want his package of top secret spy tips and tricks to fall into The wrong hooves after all." Rainy Day stated confidently before her expression became suspicious. "I probably have to wipe your memory now, that information was confidential."
A connection between her and the manticore? Aeylisia couldn't help but release a soft snort at the very idea, very nearly rolling her eyes. "Don't be foolish. I would never ally myself with such a monster." The very idea was so repellant, she felt an instinctual shudder trickle down her spine before she could stop it. "I was taught from a young age to be wary of beasts such as manticores. They are not common in these woods, but neither are they unheard of. To encounter one alone is almost certain death. I had the unfortunate experience to come face to face with a manticore a few years back, one of our city guardians trapped the beast shortly after it began stalking our borders... So many children had already died..." Her gaze grew distant for a moment, the memory of pain and loss echoing within her once more, before she blinked, returning to herself and glancing quickly at Shade, clearly embarrassed. She cleared her throat and glanced away once more into the trees, refusing to say more on the subject and pointedly ignoring his comment about her resembling a rabbit.

Holding her tongue as they continued their awkward trek through the forest, the elf contemplated over her wavering wariness towards the human. Or at least, that was how it was appearing. How disconcerting. He wanted nothing more than to kill her people, destroy her forest... Didn't he? She blinked thoughtfully, biting briefly at her lower lip. She was still lost in thought win Shade finally brought their awkward procession to a halt, nearly collapsing on the spot when her leg gave a protesting throb at having any amount of weight put upon it for longer than a second. Steeling herself, Aeylisia carefully removed her arm from around Thatcher's shoulders, leaning most of her weight onto her good leg after taking a cautious step away.

"this isn't what I pictured when you talked of a camp." She murmured, looking up into the branches of the mighty elder of the forest. After a moment, she shook her head, red gold hair swaying with the movement. "normally, I would Skoff your suggestion that I couldn't climb a tree, but..." Again, she shook her head, laughing dryly. "I wouldn't trust my strength after the day I've had to face..." And with that, using the help of one of the nearby trees, she lowered herself to the ground, keeping as much weight off of her injured leg as she could manage.
She had just unboxed her old blue kettle and an assortment of teacups win the knock came at her front door. Curious about the unexpected visit, Rain's soft humming drifted into silence as she set the kettle carefully on the countertop and glance towards the door. I wonder who that could be. I wasn't expecting any visitors today. I just got here! She thought, tilting her head slightly.

"Excuse me..." A somewhat muffled voice called through the wood. "Delivery for Miss Rainy Day."

Blinking her vivid blue eyes several times with surprise, the mare walked across the open room, A combination of both living room, kitchen, and dining room, to open up the front door. Her first impression was that of the exceptionally large box that had been placed on the little porch, the cardboard covering up most of the space, then her gaze drifted to what she could make out of a green colored pony standing behind said box. "Oh!" She huffed with surprise, releasing a soft giggle as she stepped to one side. "you weren't kidding. It's huge! Would you mind lending me a hoof getting it inside? I'm afraid it might crush me if I try to do it myself." She laughed, arching her neck and standing up on tip-hooves to grin out at The delivery stallion. "Not for free, of course. I'll give you one of my cookies in exchange."
Angling her wings in a way that made her flight path begin to loop in a tighter circle, Rain was more then halfway to the ground when she noticed a pony standing in front of her house. Tilting her head curiously, she watched the brightly colored figure lift a hoof to the mailbox, opening it up before placing an envelope inside. Who she was now assuming was a mailpony gave a rather excited squeal before they began bouncing away, bright pink main and tail streaming behind their retreating form. The corner of Rain's mouth quirked up as she watched, surprised that she would already have a letter when she hadn't even been in Ponyville for an entire day yet. Landing in front of her mailbox with a soft clop of her hooves, the mare retrieved the brightly colored envelope and glanced at it before ripping it open. It certainly had her name on it.

Dear Miss Rainy Day,

Mayor Mare kindly requests your presence at Townhall at 2 PM this afternoon to discuss your residency application and assess your satisfaction in the home you have purchased and to make sure that all the proper documentation has been filed. We at the city hall warmly welcome you to Ponyville and hope to be able to serve you in the future.

Yours sincerely,
Ponyville Town Council
Mayor Mare

Her surprise turned to understanding as she reread the short message, her head instinctively turning in search of a Clock. The large tower in town told her that it was just a little past 11 now, so she had a few hours left to put in to unpacking before she had to be at town hall, that was good. Taking the letter with her inside, she opened one of the nearby cardboard boxes and began sorting through her belongings, smiling at the idea of having such a friendly Mayor.

Meanwhile, a pink blur was steadily making its way through Ponyville, depositing envelopes to surprised Ponies, frequent bursts of confetti accompanying the deliveries. When the blur finally reached the door to One of the café, it paused long enough to reveal the same pony who had dropped off an envelope in Rainy Day's mailbox earlier, her blue eyes bright with excitement as she opened the door. Then she became a blur once more as she ran around the interior of the little restaurant, dropping off an envelope with the name of each pony it was given to written on the front. Before the door had fully closed, she streaked out it once more, the bell giving a gentle tinkle.

"Looks like Pinkie Pie is excited about something." A mare at One of the tables chuckled, picking up the envelope and opening it with a smile.

you're invited to a super special secret surprise welcome to Ponyville party this afternoon at 2 PM to welcome our newest resident, Rainy Day the Pegasus! We will be having this party in the park near the gazebos and encourage anypony Who would like to join in the traditional surprise shout to show up early to find a good hiding spot. There will be lots of goodies to eat, games to play, and ponies to talk to. I hope to see you there!

Love, Pinkie Pie
Rainy Day

She is smaller than the average adult pony, with rather skinny legs. Her body is almost a solid white, save for her cutie mark, which is a dark grey cloud releasing several drops of blue rain, and the tips of The feathers on her wings, which are colored red. Her mane and tail are both vividly bright red. Her mane falls mostly across her forehead in layered bangs, with two longer pieces falling to either side of her face down to a few inches past her shoulders. These pieces of hair have a gradual waviness that starts a third of the way down before the last several inches where it becomes abruptly crinkled with short tight waves. Similarly, the hair that falls over the side of her neck separates into three distinctive waves and crinkles, Falling a few inches past her shoulders as well. Her long tail follows the same pattern, gradually becoming wavy near the middle, and then crinkling up at the end. This is her most distinctive feature. Her bright blue eyes, usually curious or excited, are the second.
The sky was a vibrant field of deep blue, spotted with frantic strokes of white cloud in a few places is if a paintbrush had been swiped across its surface, turning it into a canvas. More likely, the effect was caused by the higher then average wind that had been scheduled for that day, the Pegasi making up for a week of calmer breezes per a request of the mayor so that she could host a convention in town with visiting diplomats in peace. But whatever the underlying reasons for the weather, it had taken a bit of work on the part of one particular Pegasus to collect enough of the wispy stuff to make a cloud big enough for her to lounge on. She was here now, chin resting on one of her front hooves, sun warming her back and wings, her long tail falling over the edge of the cloud.

Rainy Day, as she was known, was small for a Pegasus pony, with a bright white coat and hair the color of apples, the Red color tipping each of the feathers on her wings. She blinked her vivid blue eyes contentedly as she gazed down at The town spread out beneath her, contemplating the unfamiliar buildings and what she could see of the few residents she could make out from her vantage point. It all looked peaceful, this Ponyville, And that was her hope. The peaceful atmosphere was part of what had drawn her to this little section of Equestria, Had compelled her to purchase a cottage near the forest.

Moving had been what she had been doing before she had sought a break on her lonely little cloud, unpacking boxes her father and brother had helped her bring that morning from what had been her home in Whinnyapolis. But after she had sent her family home, worried about her mother and younger brother who remained and both recovering from a severe case of the feather flu, she had begun to find that the space inside her new cottage was feeling somewhat cramped, despite the minimal amount of boxes and the lack of furniture that had yet to be delivered, and she had gratefully taken to the skies to stretch out her wings and take in a breath of fresh air.

Lifting her head from her hoof, Rainy Day yawned widely before giving her head a quick shake, making her mostly wavy mane sway. Stretching out her front legs, she finally stood up, giving the rest of her body a quick shake as well before spreading her wings and preparing to leap off of her cloud. With a soft giggle, The Pegasus jumped from her perch, flapping quickly to gain speed before looping around and extending her front hooves, smashing through her cloud gleefully and leaving behind the scattered pieces to become wisps in the sky once again as she began a slow dissent back to the ground.
