Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! Or Josie! C:
I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 17 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.
I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.
My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.
I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.
I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.
If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. "Agreed." Cinead said as he finally lifted his eyes from studying his hands. "there are many things in this world that can surprise you when the knowledge is yours." He mused, Idly wondering what Anna would think if she knew The sort of creature that she had just had lunch with. That, above all else, was a piece of knowledge that he must prevent from ever occurring.
Fighting off the urge to grimace, Cin found himself glancing towards a clock on the sandwich shop's wall above the counter, sighing softly as he registered the close to the lunch hour. He had another couple of classes he had to attend before he could escape for the day. Maybe he would take the opportunity to go someplace remote tonight, stretch his wings... "well Anna. I must say, it has been a pleasure making your acquaintance." Cinead said sincerely, looking back towards the woman across from him. "it was a fortunate opportunity that you chose today to drop your belongings on my legs." He teased, eyes bright with amusement. "unfortunately, I must bid you farewell for the time being. My next class starts soon and the professor hates it when students walk in late." He once again offered a hand. "I hope that we may have the opportunity to meet up again."

Millions of tiny organisms aiding the world for good or for evil... Nothing, no being, can exist without them. We can mold them into medicines, create terrible weapons with them... It's fascinating. I found it hard to believe that creatures so seemingly insignificant could impact life so greatly." He dropped his gaze to his hands, studying the skin that covered them, the small details of hair and creases... He hadn't thought very highly of human intelligence before either.

Well, no immediate come back to that one came to his mind, so Cinead settled on a soft chuckle and a shake of his head, hopefully conveying that he was conceding defeat to her more experienced use of humor. He found himself finishing up his sandwich and crumpling up the rapper as he listened to Anna's response to his question about why she wanted to be a veterinarian. He tilted his head to one side as he considered her reasons, unable to quite grasp the idea of wanting to help creatures of less intelligence... But that was why he wasn't the one becoming the vet tech. "I suppose you make a valid point. Although I have never personally owned a pet, I suppose their presence is valuable to those who do. And your ability to help animals that are beloved is an honorable choice. The decision suits you." He paused, hoping his comments wouldn't be taken the wrong way. He didn't normally talk so much around other people, He worried that he occasionally came off as sounding a bit archaic.
Again, he smiled, The expression lingering in his eyes even after the cork to his lips faded. "Oh, I'm sure they've made a table tall enough to compensate." This humor thing was a bit easier then he had originally imagined. You just had to take an obvious situation and a little twist to the entire thing, and voilà, a joke. The concept was... interesting.

"but in all seriousness, what made you decide to pursue being a veterinarian?" To him, animals weren't really something that you kept as a pet. They were much better suited for being meals. Well, that works! Ha ha! I'm glad you found something to do that you have a vested interest in. That's important.

Humor had lit his eyes with her reaction to his excepting her nickname, but a true smile touched Cinead's mouth with her genuine mirth as he told her what he was studying. She seemed to be a genuinely happy person, this Anna. The excess of the bubbly emotion helped her stand out from among the other humans he had come in contact with. That was a point in her favor. Perhaps he should learn to be more playful and teasing from her... But he didn't know where to start exactly.

He attempted to tease, lifting both of his eyebrows. He did honestly think that the job suited the woman before him in some way. She had the right personality for it.
