To her disappointment, Wincent didn't seem to be paying her any attention whatsoever. He was staring very intently at some of the group she had just left, An expression on his face that gave the impression of a pony that had just fallen Head over hooves for somepony... Or a stallion that had seen one of his favorite players from hoofball. Before she could pick out exactly who the green Pegasus was looking at, Timmey very excitedly responded to her greeting, giving her a salute that distracted Rain from her search.
"that's right. But you can just call me Rain." The mare said after his initial greeting, blue eyes crinkling up at the corners with her smile. Slowly, the expression began to falter as the words kept coming out of the colt's mouth, A blush beginning to creep into her face at the obvious admiration in his voice. "Oh, umm... Well, thank you. That's very nice of you to say." She took another drink of punch to distract herself from saying anything else, settling on giving Tim a warm smile that hopefully hid some of her embarrassment.
Glancing away as Timmey began attempting to get Vince's attention, Rainy Day noticed A dark blue stallion Pegasus glance and her direction with bright orange eyes, Clearly curious. But before she could offer him any sort of greeting, Wincent seemed to snap out of whatever stupor he had fallen into and finally asked her if she was enjoying the party. A little wary about the return of his earlier agitation, Rain hesitated for a moment before she turned her attention to the other Pegasus, studying his expression for a moment before she offered her own smile. "this has been a lot of fun. I wasn't expecting such a big ordeal to be made over me moving here." She admitted, looking out over the crowd of ponies, the balloons, the brightly painted banner...
