Bio

Well, you seem to have stumbled across my user profile. I'm assuming you're here for a reason? Perhaps looking for details on this user StarfrostedFox? ... You can just call me Autumn! Or Josie! C:

I have been role-playing off and on for the last 20 or so years, which is surprising to realize, and I find it a relaxing and enjoyable hobby. After an accident that left me blind a little over 17 years ago, I couldn't role-play for quite some time, which was rather devastating. About the time that Apple invented Siri, I was able to get enough money to be able to purchase my very first iPhone. And BAM! The world of role-playing was once again open to me. It has been a long process getting used to dictating stories and I inevitably don't always catch every single mistake, But I have learned a great deal of patience and realize the value of taking things slow and working through my text when something doesn't sound completely right. It was only a couple of years ago that I came across this website and the stories I have had here have taught me a lot about myself. I love to create. Role-playing is one of the only outlets I have for the images in my head. So though I may have a tendency to go through cycles of depression and being antisocial, I always seem to come back in the end.

I love stories involving fantasy, supernatural, adventure, mystery, even romance. There probably isn't a genre out there that I wouldn't give a try before I will say that I don't like it.

My favorite style of role-playing is, hands down, one on one. It helps me feel more involved in the story, gives me a chance to be able to talk with the other person involved in a much more casual way, And more often than not results in a long lasting friend and some of my favorite adventures.

I have a tendency to write on a casual to low Advanced level throughout my stories, the minimum coming out to an average of a couple of paragraphs. I just have so much in my head that I want to get out, I have a hard time writing anything less. Another consequence however is that I can't seem to find a lot of patients with story partners that give me a really short and undetailed response every time. It's discouraging to take the time to write out several detailed paragraphs only to get a sentence in reply. If you're here thinking of asking me to do a story, please keep that in mind.

I do not tolerate swearing, extreme Gore, or sexual content in my stories. Period. Nor do I role-play same gender romantic relationships. That is just not going to happen.

If you made it to the end of this and I haven't scared you off, I think you deserve some virtual cookies. Heck, go get yourself some real cookies. Or donuts. Or pie if that is your preference. It was just me rambling away about myself after all. If you aren't scared off and you were indeed here looking to get a story started, feel free to shoot me a private message. I'm always looking to make new friends and have new adventures.

Yay! Glad you could make it! :D Yes, I’m looking forward to making an awesome role-play!

I thought I’d mention that I also have a co-GM for this adventure! That would be @Hazelrah!

I’ve been brainstorming some possible Clan names to help get things started.

CragClan
CaveClan
MarshClan
SunClan
FernClan
GrassClan
BluffClan

Feel free to make your own suggestions! I’ll get more work done on the actual role-play thread as soon as we get some decent interest.
Hi! Thank you so much for making this!
Hello there! Thanks for checking out my thread!

Lately, I’ve been really craving a good Warrior Cats story. I managed to get something started elsewhere, but it’s really slowed down and people have dropped off, hence why I’m back here. I won’t drown you in a flood of information, so I’ll keep it basic and see if I can find any takers.

I’m looking for multiple Clans, two or three, With characters spanning across all of them.
Group collaboration! I would like this to be an adventure we build together as a group.
Character connections. One person could have a character that’s an apprentice, someone else could be their mentor. Or we could create a mated pair, siblings, kits, etc.
An agreed upon posting order. This helps make sure that no one gets left behind or a post currently being written isn’t thrown off by someone else posting something that derails what ever was currently being written.
Those are some of the details I’m currently interested in. I have a couple of thoughts about possible plots, but that’s something I’d like to discuss together as a group. If interested, feel free to post and start the brainstorming process.
I’m so excited to get things going here! I’ve really been craving this kind of story. X3
MarshClan

Characteristics

Strengths| These cats thrive on stealth and Lightning fast reflexes. They use their surroundings to their advantage, staying camouflaged among the rocks, moss, and foliage. They are masters of ambush attacks, staying hidden until the last moment, before delivering a series of quick blows to an opponent and vanishing back among the marsh. They are highly skilled in swimming, though they know better than to linger long in any water in there territory.

Weaknesses|Being The physically weakest, relatively speaking, of the clans, if they are caught in a confrontation, they are easily outpowered. Their own beloved Marsh is a danger to even them, so they must be careful and alert as they traverse the Territory. Enclosed spaces feel rather suffocating to them, used to the spread out growth of trees and open skies of the marsh.

Camp and Territory

The territory consist almost entirely of Marshland that has been created from bleed out from the river combined with underground springs.. A small portion is forested, near the border with SunClan, with willows and birches The dominating trees, though the occasional maple or oak can be found. While they do share part of a border with SunClan, near a section of the river where it bends sharply into a u-shape, the majority of MarshClan Territory lies on the opposite side of the river. Sparse tree growth occurs, but there are plenty of marsh grasses and sedges. A few drier islands can be found scattered about along with stretches of uneven strips of land. The eastern section of the territory is the driest, with the most trees and the fewest patches of water and sinkholes, while the farther west you travel, the ground becomes less stable, with larger stretches of water.

Camp| On an almost island bit of land on the drier section of the territory lies the camp of MarshClan. This is one of the only areas where bushes grow, so they are readily utilized as barriers and shelter. A willow and a birch have managed to find stable ground to grow here as well.

The birch tree stands to one side of the area, it’s branches extending over a large portion of the camp. The leader makes their den beneath the roots where a hollow has formed and been shaped. In times of heavy rain though, this Space has been known to flood and the leader can then den with either the Warriors or elders as they choose.

A rather large laurel bush serves as the Warriors den. Woven and strengthened with brambles, not much in the Way of weather gets through to the occupants inside. Grass and sedge have been gathered into nests, padded with feathers and Moss as needed or desired.

The medicine den is The space beneath the willow tree, the trailing leaves forming a natural barrier through new leaf until leaf fall. A large rock that has been split serves as the sleeping place for the medicine cat at the roots of the Willow, while a ledge covering a small hollow to one side of the tree allows sick or injured cats a place to stay. A small laurel Bush near the rock gives a place for an apprentice to sleep.

An old fox hole has been converted into the nursery. The floor has been amply padded with Moss and sedge and is regularly cleaned to help it stay fresh. Like the leaders den, it can be at risk of flooding in heavy rain, but the entrance has been reinforced with tightly woven branches and bramble tendrils that gives it a covering that slows this process.

The elders find their home in a second, smaller, laurel bush. Like the Warriors den, it has been woven with brambles to make it comfortable and nearly weatherproof. Ample amounts of feathers and Mas go into the nests made here.

Near the front of camp, a hollowed half log rests, providing shelter for the apprentices. Nests have been made inside, but most of the young cats find it more enjoyable to sleep out in the open when the weather is nice due to the cramped nature of the log.

Great Elm| Near the River, but still several fox lengths from its bank, a solitary Elm tree grows. The only of its kind in the territory, it is a rather noticeable landmark. It grows tall and wide, an elder of its own species in all respects. With a tangle of massive roots, the cats find fairly good hunting here.

Reflection Pool| Near The center of the territory, an open space at least five fox lengths wide has formed. Fed by an underground spring, a beautiful and very clear pool of water has formed. The surface of the water remains smooth and undisturbed the majority of the time, only really moved in occasions of strong weather. As a result, the sky is reflected perfectly here, resembling a mirror image of what ever is above the surface.

False Meadow| In The area where the territory starts to become more water than dry ground, a very large open space appears to be a meadow. Moss and lilies grow in abundance from one side to the other. Unseen from the surface however, this is merely a thin covering that conceals a pool of shallow water over a layer of thick and sticky mud. All MarshClan cats are warned even as young as kits that this place is dangerous. Apprentices are shown this as one of their first visits.

CaveClan

Characteristics

Strengths| The strongest of the three clans physically, these cats are usually larger in size as well as muscle mass. They are highly skilled at navigating through darkness, what with part of their territory being a system of caves hidden within the cliffs. Along with this, each member knows every pawstep of the cave system, easily traversing the inner depths of the stone to get where they need to go. They excel at Night ambushes and head on confrontations. Each cat also has a moderate level of swimming ability, though it is not utilized often.

Weaknesses| Because they are usually larger on average, this means that they are often slower as well. Open spaces can be rather terrifying to these cats, often disorienting them. Likewise, they can struggle if there is too much direct sunlight.

Camp and Territory

Part of the territory is covered by a forest made up of mostly maples and oaks, with the occasional elm making an appearance, while the other part is distinguished by rocky outcroppings and ledges, a narrow ravine, and the cave system that delves into the depths of the cliff itself. The river cascades from a waterfall to one side of the territory where it then flows straight for a time before curving in towards where it Will eventually cross into SunClan Territory. Several rock tumbles can be found throughout the trees close to the Cliffs.

Camp| To One side of the cliff face, partially inside a ravine that splits the rock just before the waterfall, the entrance to a cave can be found behind a small clearing. This is the main entrance into the network of caves and tunnels that is the heart of CaveClan. The camp it’s self is a large cavern near the wall of the ravine that has cracks and holes in the ceiling and partially down onto the wall that allows sunlight to shine through. Several moss covered boulders and a few rock piles accentuate the area. Several caves and tunnels branch off from this cavern.

The warriors den is a large, low, cave just off of the entrance of the main cavern. Several shallow scoops dimple the rock flooring, Varying in size and depth, and the Warriors make their nests in these. Larger impressions are often shared by mated couples.

At the back of the cavern, up a low series of steplike ledges, is the medicine den. The cave is long and almost arrowhead shaped. The stone transitions into sand here on the floor on one side, which is where nests and extra moss is kept. Opposite the nests, a pool of water, fed by underground currents from the river, makes an indentation in the rock. Shelves of stone at the back of the cave make convenient storage for herbs and berries.

Just to the side of the medicine den, a sloping ledge partially blocked by a large boulder leads to the leaders den. The floor here is entirely Sandy, a unique feature that hasn’t been found anywhere else. A few small cracks form openings near the ceiling, allowing sunlight to penetrate this small alcove. A shelf of rock juts out on one side of the cave, offering either a perch or a sheltered space to sleep.

Between the medicine den and Warriors den, a tunnel slopes upwards and then branches off into three spokes. The leftmost cave is the nursery, a rounded ceiling and shallow Lee scooped floor giving it an unusual shape. The middlemost cave leads to the elders den, a rather small, but cozily cushioned space. And the right most cave leads to the apprentices den, a narrow and tall cave with mini shelves of rock to provide ample amounts of space for nesting options. All three caves have small cracks in the ceiling that allow some light to filter through, though it is dim.

Twoleg Stick Bridge| Spanning the ravine is an abandoned sort of bridge left over from twoleggers. It consists of two very long branches made of some sort of hard and shiny material with flat pieces of wood spaced evenly between them and somehow holding them together. The bridge continues on along the cliff top for some distance in either direction before breaking up into smaller pieces and eventually stopping all together.

Stone Forest| Halfway between the entrance into camp and the border with SunClan, piles and pillars of rocks that have been weathered together stand in a stony clearing close to the cliff wall. The Stones are stable enough that a skilled cat can balance and climb on them, but caution is still advised in case of sharp fragments or loose rocks.

Underground River| Unseen from the outside, part of the river falls through a wide crack in the cliff and flows deep underground beneath the cave system. The cats are able to reach this river, but it is not advised due to the swift current and the fact that only a short section is accessible above the rocks. In Times of heavy rain, lower caves have been known to flood because the river swells and over runs its banks.

Characteristics

Strengths| They are rather skilled at climbing and maneuvering through the treetops, navigating through thick underbrush, and using height advantages to drop on enemies from above. Quick and agile, they are neither the strongest nor the stealthiest, but they shine most when in small groups working together.

Weaknesses| In a headlong confrontation, they struggle to gain the advantage, especially when it’s one on one. They are uncomfortable with wide open spaces, feeling uneasy about not having trees or undergrowth.

Camp and Territory

The majority of the territory is covered by a forest consisting of maples, oaks, and elms, with a few willows and birch trees entering the mix near the MarshClan border. To One side of the territory they are backed up against a sheer cliff face, while opposite these stone walls is a river that gives two natural borders. A few spring fed pools are scattered around the territory, providing sources of freshwater.

Camp| Near the center of the cliff face, SunClan has converted an open clearing into their camp. laurel and holly bushes have been reinforced with brambles and thorns to create the outer barrier, with a tunnel left clear on One side to create the entrance in and out of camp. Two large maple trees grow within the barrier of bushes, standing to either side of the clearing. A couple of small caves mar The otherwise solid rock cliff, creating sheltered places for dens.

The first of the maples is closest to the entrance and is home to the leader. A hollowed out hole buy one of the lower tree branches serves as their den, while the branch above serves as a perch where the leader can call gatherings.

The warrior’s den, which is in actuality two separate dens, consists of a pair of bushes just passed the Leader‘s tree. These bushes have been reinforced with bramble tendrils to help keep out rain or snow, while still allowing sunlight to spot through. The ground beneath the bushes has been layered with Moss and ferns, while individual nests have been built on top of this.

A fallen log whose center has rotted away serves as the apprentice‘s den. Moss and dried Bracken have been shaped into nests on the inside. The apprentices usually eat their meals near here, next to the stump that is left over from the fallen tree.

The second maple tree stands closer to the cliff face and a hollowed out space beneath its roots serves as the medicine den and home of the medicine cat. A small stream runs from the top of the cliff in a waterfall, cutting close to the tree before heading out through a break in the bushes and out into the forest. A thick clump of holly serves as a place where sick or injured cats can stay, while also serving the purpose of being where the medicine cat apprentice can sleep.

The two small caves in the cliff wall how’s the nursery and the elder‘s den, the first flanked by bushes and brambles for defense while the latter has several flat rocks to one side of it where the older cats, as well as some of the younger, like to sun themselves on nice days. The insides of the caves have sandy floors, though The nursery‘s has been generously padded with Moss.

Herb Clearing| This place is located in the Northern corner of the territory and is usually a great place to gather all kinds of herbs. There are a few logs and branches scattered about the area, patches of growth clustering close to the wood. The cats are usually lucky to be able to still find a few herbs here even in the colder seasons.

Moss Rock Clearing| This is a clearing in the middle of the territory where there are scattered rocks that are covered with moss. When the weather is nice out, the cats that have free time like to doze off, eat, and share tongues with one another here. The sun also shines down brightly through the trees making it an even better spot.

River Grounds| A relatively large dip in the ground full of soft sand that is beside the River. The apprentice’s come here to train with their mentors for battle practice. There are also many large trees around the dip for climbing practice.

The other werewolves made their appearance before the human hunters, three large canine shapes weaving through the trees. Joshua’s ears flicked forward with surprise as he peered around at them, having only expected two to show up. Six of them had been in the woods for the attack and he knew for a fact that two of the pack had died... A momentary flash of regret washed through him as he remembered that he had been The cause of one of those deaths, but quickly shook his head to rid himself of the lingering feeling. He couldn’t focus on his former actions right now, especially not with Hale around.

The others slowed to a stop, tongues lolling as they panted, eyes flashing with anger Still. Brandt and Carl, the two original wolves, had been joined by Donovan, one of the wolves that had been left behind to guard the den. His black fur was barely discernible in the darkness as he stood between his packmates, though enough of him could be seen that his respectful lowering of his head to the alpha didn’t go unnoticed.

perhaps that was why Hale didn’t jump forward immediately and tear into him for abandoning his post, though the grey wolf still snarled as if he wanted to, lips pulled back from his teeth. The fur bristled along his spine as he stalked forward a few paces, yellow eyes glittering dangerously.

Ears turning back, Donovan pointed his nose towards the dead werewolf on the path in answer. It was only then that Joshua realized that the wolf must’ve been Stefan, Donovan’s brother. The black wolf‘s lips pulled back from his fangs and he released a quiet growl, clearly expressing his fury over the death of his family.

’...But how did he know his brother had died in the first place?’ Joshua thought after a moment, glancing between the brothers and then towards Hale, wondering if the Alpha had caught the discrepancy.

At first, it appeared that the gray wolf had noticed the anomaly, his gaze turning from Donovan to the dead Stefan and back again. But a moment later, the hostel snarl faded from his face and he released a resolute snort, dipping his head in acknowledgment and permission for the other two enact revenge.

As The other werewolves slid into place on either side of the path with quiet rustles of fur and foliage, Joshua found himself blinking contemplatively to himself, yet another unanswered question in his mind. Suppressing the sudden urge to sigh aloud, the russet wolf dropped his chin to his paws, closing his eyes as he tried not to think. He hadn’t been at it very long when his attention was drawn by a new sound however.

Eyes opening once again as he lifted his head, he looked towards the rhythm of running footfalls, watching as a young man darted past his hiding spot. He had just a moment to register that he recognized the figure before Donovan and Hale irrupted from the bushes and took Chase, fangs exposed. Rising to a seated Position, Joshua hesitated on what his next action would be, aware that Carl and Brandt had poked their heads through the bushes, watching the other werewolves chase the boy with expressions of excitement. Tired of the entire affair at this point, he instead looked back in the direction the boy had come from, curious if anyone else was going to make an appearance.
