Why do people say "Tuna Fish sandwich"? That's like saying "Chicken Bird sandwich."

Bio

I never know what to put in these things. I'm just a guy who likes making stories. If I'm not roleplaying, I'm writing my own stuff or just creating random characters. I'm particularly fond of superheroes but I also really like character driven stuff and tend to dive into the details of a character. No character can be too detailed as far as I'm concerned.

This Means War!

BOOM!

Things began to explode around Nate as he swam to shore. He felt a small shockwave hit and send both Kuro and himself off to the side slightly. A duplicate caught hold of them and dragged them back on track. The other duplicate was reabsorbed to avoid unnecessary casualties. As he and his duplicate swam, for a brief moment Nate flashed back to his time in the military. Under fire and dragging a wounded friend to safety. His heart pounded and he could swear he heard screams but he knew that was impossible.

Still more explosions pounded the water as both Nate's hauled Kuro onto the beach. In less than a heartbeat Nate had locked onto the source of the bombardment, aided by the accompanying laughter of the mortars gunners. In the next heartbeat there was a small army on the beach. A legion. At least thirty duplicates screamed and shot across the beach towards Eli and Jim. The screaming army of clones was an intimidating sight but would probably be somewhat less intimidating considering that they were all wearing swimming trunks.

While the Legions rampaged towards the enemy, intending to bury them up to their necks in the sand...maybe find a toilet and give them a swirly or six, two duplicates stayed with the unconscious Kuro in the surf. They needed to get him out of their if the mortars didn't stop. And they were getting pretty sick of carrying him. "Wake up!" one yelled at Kuro, raising his hand into the air before slapping the brat. The other duplicate caught hold of his arm and told him "Unnecessary man!"

Sorry, Acer. I meant to mention something about Eli's mortar attack but forgot all about it. Going to attempt a post for it now. May be a short one though.

Just FYI guys, I'm waiting for Raijin to post with either Jackson or Kuro before I do anything with Nate. None of the other Legions are really that important right now. The story can progress without them.
Zachary didn't know how he had gotten here either. That was strange. But this whole place was strange. And it only seemed stranger the more Jake thought about it. What kind of tropical island had squirrels? This island seemed almost too good to be true. The pessimist in Jake thought that is something seemed too good to be true, it probably was. He started to worry then that he would wake up at any moment and this beautiful island with its magnificent beach would be gone. And Jake would find himself on some filthy street corner in the pouring rain once again.

"Hey Jake, did you notice? That hut on the end is some kind of smoothy bar."

Jake looked up at Zach as he was asked a question then turned to look in the direction the man was looking. "I can't say I did" he replied "But then I can't say I really pay much attention to anything with fruit."

@GentlemanVaultBoy
For a moment, Jake simply stared at the sunblock sitting in the sand, pondering what possible use he could have for such a thing. He couldn't put it on. He had no hands. And even if he could, he'd only end up with a sticky or matted coat. Maybe both. He considered picking it up in his mouth and taking it back to Zachary but that would surely only inhibit his ability to speak...Or would it?

He thought about that for another moment. How exactly could he talk now anyway? It wasn't like he had a human mouth. He wasn't sure if a dog being able to speak was even physically possible. Maybe it wasn't physical though. Maybe there was something else going on here. His head ended up hurting from thinking about it too much and he decided to try an experiment.

Snatching the sunblock up between his teeth, careful not to apply too much pressure, he followed after Zachary. "Hey...um..." he called out to the man, surprised by the fact that he sounded the same. Well that answered that. He continued "This might sound stupid but...I have no idea how I got here. Or even where here is. You wouldn't happen to know, would you?"

@GentlemanVaultBoy
Tilting his head up towards the sky, Jake squinted as a bird flew in front of the sun. The man, Zachary he learned, was right. It was hot as hell out here. And Zachary didn't exactly look like he was built to last in temperatures like this. He was oddly pale. Jake found himself suddenly struck by a twinge of guilt for wrecking his hat. It probably would have helped him quite a bit out here.

"Name's Jake" he informed Zachary when asked about his name. "Hey, there's some huts over there" Jake told him as he tried to point a paw in their direction but failed "Maybe you should get out of the sun before you...die."

@GentlemanVaultBoy
Can you flash teach someone maturity? Or sexuality for that matter. I think they're both things Eden would have to and should have to learn on his own.

Physical maturity doesn't mean he's mentally mature.
@Raijinslayer Sorry. I forgot about Isabella's offer to Kuro. I knew I would forget something.
<Snipped quote by Raijinslayer>

Well I can't get too descriptive due to how prudish people are with this sorta thing. :(

Be as descriptive as you like. Put it behind a hider and people don't have to read it if they don't want to.
