“Ah… come in.” Calling out as she heard the knock on the door, perhaps it was her family to come get her? However, it was stupid to hope such a thing but none the less when she saw Cas she couldn’t help but smile, it was sweet of him to return and such a nice gesture because quite honestly, she didn’t really know anyone else. It was also nice to see someone else other than the doctor. Glancing towards the bathroom she became conscious of him finding out about her outburst, what would he think of her if he saw the smashed mirror? Shaking out the thought from her head she distracted herself with something else.

“I mean, I wish I could say I’m great, but I don’t know… it’s just it’s weird not really knowing. However, the pain isn’t too bad just wish I knew who I was.” Iris chuckled slightly answering his question honestly, it sucked being stuck in this hospital room with no family coming to collect her.

Eyes widened in shock at the gesture, he had brought her some food? Features softened as she smiled once more at him, “You know this drink I owe you will soon become more than one.” Looking at the different range of stuff he had brought it was sweet, kind and she already felt like she owed him her life. “Thank you, you didn’t have too. Well you didn’t have to visit me either but I’m glad.” Looking between the options she took note of the chocolate candy bar already knowing she would like that; bag of chips didn’t really call out to her but when her eyes caught sight of the blueberry muffin she grimaced. Nope definitely not that one. Oh wait… I don’t like blueberry muffins!

The grimace soon turned back into a smile as she met his gaze once more, “Well I know I don’t like blueberry muffins… I remembered something.” She sounded amazed with herself at that fact but again relieved, perhaps it wouldn’t be a long-term thing. “I know it’s not really helpful but it’s something. I just hope I remember something to get out of here. It makes me think that maybe I lived on my own. Well… I don’t know I just think that by now someone should have come for me. Maybe I’m just overthinking it but still…”

Shrugging off her thoughts she pointed to the chocolate bar in his hands, “However that will surely beat lunch… it’s nice here but the food. Yikes. I do not recommend bringing anyone here for dinner.” Making a joke to keep things lighthearted, it distracted her from the reality of the matter, the idea that she might not be able to leave this place if no one came from her. She’d be stuck and a burden and for some reason she didn’t like that idea.
Yeah I deffo recommend!

I can see that, German shepherds are meant to be quite smart as you said!

Awh bless him! It was so sweet! It's gonna be so hard to hate him xD
It's really good! There is like eight seasons though! So pretty long to go through but I think it's worth it :3

Oh good for Kai! That's such good news that he can learn new tricks pretty quick~

“Stupid, stupid, stupid!” Iris muttered to herself as she limped towards the toilet hands clasping at the toilet roll on one of the holders. How the hell would she explain this? Dr Emett and the nurses had been nothing but kind but yet she had ruined one of their mirrors, broken it like some child having a tantrum. Shaking her head to herself as she plopped herself down on the floor being careful not to hurt her leg, she had to sit on the floor to clean this there was no way she could lean down on one leg without falling face first to the floor.

Pulling out a couple of squares of the tissue she laid the toilet roll on the floor and started to move the shards onto it, being careful to not cut herself she continued clearing up the mess best she could whilst she thought on ways to explain what had happened.

Would they believe if I fell? No… no that’s silly. I should just tell them the truth. I got angry. Would they think bad of me? What a mess…

“I suppose this is what my mind looks like. Visual representation.” Chuckling darkly to herself as she continued to pick up the shards, she felt so bad for doing that. Guilty for breaking something that wasn’t hers. She had only been here a day… barely and she was already disrupting like this.

Panicking slightly, she grabbed the toilet roll full of broken mirror and placed it in the sink with the rest, using the toilet to hoist herself back up she hoped to the sink looking at the mess inside. Glancing around looking for a bin in the room she grabbed the tissue that was wrapped around the shards from the floor she limped over to the bin dropping it inside. Moving back to the sink she started to clean the rest of it, still feeling the guilt from breaking it in the first place. Cleaning the rest of it she placed all evidence in the bin before grabbing her crutches to move back into her room like nothing happened, her heart was hammering in her chest feeling like she was going to caught. She was going to get into trouble over this and that was all she could focus on.

Hoping back up on the bed she placed the crutches at her beside before reaching for the glass of water, hands trembled as she picked it up taking a sip. I should just tell someone. They won’t be mad I’m sure, it was an accident… well… sort of. Letting out a breath she had to calm down, she was overreacting over something so simple. Finishing the drink, she placed it back on the side, her heart wasn’t hammering anymore which was a positive and even though she felt bad over it she was starting to feel calmer. It did make her wonder if she had reacted like this before? What was she like? Did she have anger outbursts before losing her memory?
Oh brilliant!

I'm working on it now~

Oh nice! Any nice plans for later?
Yes deffo!

No worries! Take your time! I'm around all day today! I'm hoping to get some more of my outfit down today, it's coming along nicely~
Watching Jac place the crutches at her bedside she assumed it was so she could get up and use the bathroom or go for a little walk, it was nice to have the option of a little freedom especially as she assumed she was stuck here as no family had come to collect her. “I’ve put some medication on your bedside, painkillers for if things get too rough. Your recovery looks great and hopefully someone comes to collect you as you’re free to go. We just don’t want to release you with no memories unless we know someone is there for you.” Jac smiled once more as she placed the dirty bandages in the waste bin along with her rubber gloves. “I’ll be along later; we’ve got something we would like to try for your memory.” Leaving the room once more Jac went about her daily duties.

Sighing to herself Iris winced as she moved off the bed, reaching for the crutches to help her walk. This is going to test my strength. Feeling her arms tremble at her weight she adjusted how she would walk and then made her way towards the bathroom that was attached to her hospital room. She wished she had some other form of clothes to wear, using the sink she washed her face to freshen up. It was strange how just a quick wash made her feel human, made her feel normal if that’s what she could even call it. Looking at herself in the mirror it was strange seeing the reflection back, it was like she didn’t know who she was anymore. Shaking her head, she moved back into the room getting used to walking around with crutches, it seemed alright, but she doubted she’d be able to go long distances.

Six hours had passed, and Iris had spent the time walking around in her room finding it easier each time she tried. She had sat with Jac who went through questions, flash cards and other things trying to spark any memories, but it was no use. Nothing had sparked which was frustrating, but what made it worse was the fact no one had called for her. No family had come, and she couldn’t help but fixate on that snippet of memory of her mother from last night. Why had her mother not come for her? She definitely had one and her flash of memory had confirmed that fact. What if they didn’t know she was missing? Did she live alone? Were her parents even alive? All these thoughts circulated through her mind over the hours she spent in the hospital.

I don’t want to be here

Looking at the clock on the wall she felt that time was dragging, resting her hand on her forehand before she moved once more from the bed. Using the crutches once more she hobbled over to the bathroom ensuring that she didn’t place too much weight on the injured leg. Using the sink to help keep herself upright she watched her reflection once more in the mirror, eyes looking at the stranger in the mirror. Reaching up to the mirror her fingers touched the reflection, she could see herself. Blonde hair, blue eyes. The bandages from her head were no longer there but she could see were the wound had been. It looked a lot cleaner which showed it was healing. At the same time however she didn’t feel it was her true reflection.

Hand curled into a fist on the mirror as she continued to stare, biting her lip she could feel the rush of anger. The outrage that this had happened. This was no one’s fault so she had no one blame, who could she be angry with? Without even thinking she smashed her fist against the mirror, shattering the glass beneath her skin, the sound of glass clattering against the sink and the floor broke her from her trance and she had realised what she had done.

“Ah… crap.” Grimacing as she looked at the mess she had caused. Looking at her hand it was a miracle she hadn’t broken the skin, frowning as she looked around knowing that she needed to clean it up. “Ah… how will I explain this… I just vandalised property. I’m going to be in so much trouble! How can I even pay for this…” Rambling to herself as she looked at the mess on the floor she had been the cause of.

Thank you! It's just so nice to give them another chance and have that forever home :3

I know! Can't believe she lived that long but she was so lovely too!

Yay! I loved it! Apologies I fell asleep last night! I'm working on my post now~
