Haha, I'm not mad about it, I'm actually more amused by my own eagerness.

Well I like that :P I was only teasin anyways. (Most of the time I am). Just another day or so folks, had to help my mum out today so I'm pretty beat. I'll see about finishing the noble houses soon.

As I hit the 1500 word mark on my intro post, I remember that we haven't even started yet...

Well excuse me for the site being down today -.-

Anyways! It was only a day of malfunction junctions guys! I'll do some more work on the OOC info. I was planning to do a lot of it today but the site being down killed my vibe, broke the system. (Check thread, check pm's, do stuff) But I did do some pre-writing in apache office (booyah). Anyways, I will get the nobles houses up next, because having 3 people playing nobles that may be essential information, or it may not. Regardless, after that, I need to make my character and then IC time. I'll do some nobles stuff tonight, but if callthecops (about to pm you on that) and the roman07 don't finish their part of this, then we'll just begin without it.

I'm planning on having the IC up by tomorrow night. (Though every time callthecops complains I'm tempted to wait another day :P )

Thanks for being patient, understand how I feel. I had to wait an entire month before I could even do the int. check :) (was away from home).
I will be adding in the "appearance" section when releasing the CS's. So with the strength of the coursing river, I believe in everybody's skills to take an "appearance" and turn it into a suitable "first impression".
Added a subject on Magic, and reworked layout of the 1st post.

To do* Previously mentioned things.
*add calendar / time resource. (less important)
*add "Current Date" to the top of 1st post.
*add super awesome special VIP accepted member's resource
*add ranks for The Guard
*add Noble houses
*add important factions
Love Bump: Still accepting.
I'm Back!! Let's get this SHOW ON THE ROAD.

Yeah, as I said. I built my character to interact with other characters. That is why I am leaving. I don't want to do an Roleplay where I don't play with other people, because then it isn't roleplaying

You are quite wrong on that point, if you are indeed still lurking around this thread then here's some advice; Just leave. This is not what you want obviously, so basically we're just wasting time here. I do however, despite how rude I seem, wish you the best of luck in finding what you want, and enjoying it. It's a big world out there, go with peace my roleplaying brethren and find that which you seek.

Hey! joining this rp as a mage in Aelholt.

Your character is denied. Here's why: The VERY FIRST LINE, on the front page. Go read it.
I didn't read it, because I noticed the backstory was a single paragraph. This is advanced, and I hate to sound so elitist about this, But this is advanced.

To Do (most important things first)
Summary of Magic in the World*
Noble Houses, brief summary of the family trees.*
*Go over each CS and find the approvables, work on the unapprovables.
*How to curse! (Yes this is a thing!)

If I promised something other than those to be done, please remind me as I have forgotten. It's been a hellishly busy three days and oh lord are my legs and arms dead (Hands work fine though! No worries).

Thankyou for sticking around, and thankyou Roman and Kapu for properly explaining the vision while I was away. Roman I almost just want to approve you know based on the intelligent posts I've just read, but, fair is fair :)

Actually...I am taking a step out of this too. Best of luck to everyone.

If you're still lurking, I'm sorry to see you go. Haven't read the PM's yet, but perhaps there is something I did to affect this decision? Otherwise I will assume life got in the way, or your desires changed.
Update.

3 accepted characters. 2 pending. 1 to be made (mine).

Kapuchu wins the secret CS contest you did not know about. A riveting 8 pages. (1+ gold to his character)
(I actually just made that contest up about 5 minutes ago, expect things like this :P)
Bump. Still open.
Anyways back to the girlfriend, toodles ~
Hey just hopping on real quick!

Just wanted to say there is a lot going on so far in the way of character development, so instead of sending 8 million PMS I will just vaguely address you all here.

Topic One: Invisibility

I have multiple people trying to go for invisibility, and while it is a useful tool not everybody quite understands it. So let me explain it real quick. For one to become invisible, the light must actually be bent around them, making it appear as if there were never there at all by hiding themselves from the visible spectrum. During the daytime, there is a great quantity of light to contend with, making it quite the difficult feat. One could do this while standing still. At night this is much easier, less light, allows for walking (albeit slowly).

With all that in mind Invisibility is denied to anyone who does not specifically focus on a school of magic called "Abjuration", or "Shadow magic." The exceptions to this rules are: Familiars, enchantments, runes, empowered tattooes, etc. Even then, if I do not feel it is crucial to your character then I will deny you. Just because you are an assassin does not automatically qualify you either. Also, if you rework your entire character just to have this, I may deny you anyways. (I have plenty of applicants, trust me.)
**This includes things that obscure you by nature, mass effect charms that will others from noticing you, and "shape shifting" into an unseen form.
Abjuration is mostly light magic, focusing on defensive barriers, shields, healing, and the likes. There is technically no offense other than cleansing the unholy, i.e priest/healer magic.

Topic Two: The amount of repeat characters. I have a handful of bounty hunters, and a handful of nobility, with a couple of unique characters. I'm not asking you to change per say, but I would like for you to challenge yourselves. Stray from the norm, the popular, or the easy. Bounty hunters have the easiest "storyline" ... "I hunt bad guys" , which is almost the same as a wandering nomad, homeless man, or NEET. (Not Employed, in Education, or Training). Essentially these characters bring no development to the story other than maybe killing some highly wanted criminal.

The nobility on the other hand, if you have not submitted a character for it yet, then be warned. My character is going to be nobility, and playing my political game is quite hard. If you don't enjoy challenges, failure, and deep sorrow, you should probably stay away from this. I won't be unfair, but I will use every single mistake you make against you (most likely). Also in case it was missed, anything from governor, nobility, and up are subject to plots, schemes, and attempts on their lives. Nobility also have pretty extensive families, so I will need a detailed family tree, and an explination of your noble house, how they came to power, and what important business they run. (The arclight mines are currently taken and accounted for, as is the Merchant's Guild.)

Fated Fallen, this message is for you directly. I read you cs and honestly I am not pleased with you. "....he will need friends to embark on a journey to..." is the exact thing I said this wasn't going to be. Understand that character's paths may intertwine, but if you should find a group of followers you're little quest with completely negate any kind of story arc they had going on. Did you miss the part where I said this wasn't going to be a "scallywagging adventure between a misfit group of heroes" or what? And if you say " independent of other characters as per your instructions" or "made it clear you didn't want that" one more time, you can just leave because obviously you pay little to no attention to the things I say. I gave you no instructions on how to create and play your character, and every single person here can vouch for that. What do I always say? You can play whatever you want. (Within reason of course, which is why I help balance our CS's and make suggestions on what could be changed, but I haven't forced anything until the invisibility issue arose).

I'm not trying to be mean, though I do lack a certain finesse when it comes to things like this. It's advice, so take it or leave it, dont write a big reply about how you didn't mean to do this, and you never intended that. I can read just fine, perhaps you could actually show me you're listening.

What are you going to do if people are like, "Cool, but my motives and ambitions lie somewhere else, so you're on your own buddy."?

That.

Also girlfriend surprise visit so I won't be on until Sat. Night. Kapu knows me best so pretty much listen to his advice.

What? Negativity? Naysaying? All I ever suggested was for someone to give my character a purpose, I haven't said I don't want to be part of your roleplay, and I have never tried to usurp you. I simply wanted to start the Roleplay with a connection to at least one other character. And even before this comment you've made it clear that you didn't want that. So I've moved on to make a monster hunter/bounty hunter and have even helped develop this roleplay by suggesting a hunters guild. If I gave off the impression of being negative or hostile I am sorry, I meant none of it

Where exactly did you get usurp from? The point was I don't want to hear anymore about "in my experience this" and "it's a shame that". If you can handle that then fine. I never "made it clear" that I didn't "want" characters being together. I made it very clear that this is not a dependant roleplay. Maybe you missed the previous post where I said "The amount of times characters spend together is entirely up to their writers". Don't be negative, and don't throw incorrect accusations at me.
