Its not early at all. Seeing I mentioned the 3rd island already XD Well I am more leaning to half random. As in there maybe 2-3 stories that connect several island over our adventure but in between there are some random island. Pretty much like one piece it self. If you ask if we can have the same islands as in one piece. Absolutely,just the people have to be different.
The next island story/events could be made by you or Jangel and what you two find interesting. But of course its not a obligation. All hail the plot bunnies.
*** I can kind of see the Employer as someone like Blackbeard, kind of a low(ish) level person now, but we'll see more of his strength as things progress, possibly due to the devil fruit he's going for. Also, was there a devil fruit effect you had in mind for this, or is that still being planned out? I'd be happy to help if you'd like.
No plans as for yet what the devil fruit should be. I will gladly take the help, especially inspirational are the recent one piece chapter where there are words about awakening and Luffy saying. ''Its like he isnt a paramecia anymore''. I find those hints extremely interesting. Maybe at a later date we can use it. And yeah he can be a persona that is pulling the strings. But I wouldnt want him to be the only string puller.

You know....I luv you for preparing the IC post XD Just I was a tiny bit confused.She is searching for a crew? Maybe it would be better she already has the whole crew. Because of the people backgrounds, each of them added at the end how they joined the crew too.
The last one who joined was the navigator-Kazuma and he suits your first post perfectly.(if the flyers Abby put are asking for a navigator, for example.)

Though Kazuma pressed on in hopes of keeping their crew together, they ultimately began to fall apart. That is why at the next shore they hit (Logue Town) Kaz left his crew to drink his problems away. After spending what money he had left, he wandered the streets for a sign as to what to do next. He ended up befriending a wolf<!--perfect as it can be your wolf choose him for the crewXD--> in the streets and following it back to its home, which just so happened to be a pirate ship. He took it as a sign and joined the crew, after explaining why he had been sleeping on their ship.
Maybe put what you wrote in italic call it a flash-back and make it the day after or even better the same day on which your post is happening, but evening just after Kazuma joined?
It would help with all the other bios and how they imagined they joined the crew.
And a question will we consider how Angelo joined the crew in this thread as cannon for our roleplay, or not? And... can Simona be the second one, first being Angelo, who joined the crew? So our character know each other for the longest? XP But I must shamefully admit the only one who has not 'how I joined Abby' is my character Simona. I should probably work on that...
Something I noticed when re reading the profiles, Nautilus bio, mentions a employer, here is the relevant passage.
After that Nautilus chose his name and began to travel. Hiring himself out to whoever would take the giant. Surprisingly he found himself a capable warrior and began to carve a name for himself as reliable muscle. Nautilus came to be hired by Simona's crew due to an...altercation between his employer and Simona's crew. The captain seemed like a good man, along with the other crewmembers, and he paid well. His only condition was to not look in the cargo hold. Being just a hire on, Nautilus never questioned it until Simon's ship attacked. The "good" captain was a slave trader and, when Nautilus found out, flew into a rage. Destroying most of the ship in the process. Luckily Simona and her crew had saved the slaves before the whole thing went under. Nautilus had turned himself in to Simona but eventually he was allowed to join the crew due to his rejection of the captain and general kindheartedness.
It makes sense that the scout Simona found the slave ship and telling her captain they freed them. Simona would even give a good word for Nautilus to join the crew, explaining he didnt know that it was a slave ship. Adding he was having a good heart.
But the employer he mentioned, do you think we could connect it with our ''Employer''? Obliviously Nautilus wouldnt have a clue untill its revealed. Or would it be too much of a stretch? Seeing the ''Employer'' is in grand line and this happened in one of the Blues.
