Well.

I'll make something for the HQ thread with more details.
I will use Hisame (roleplayerguild.com/posts/3085940) for all mid-tier battles.

I don't have a profile here made for Tera, but she is a 9 on the power scale of 1-10; she can create various elemental miracles, hover, fly, move at supersonic, teleport, affect things with her mind, speak with her mind, read minds, etc. I also do not directly write character abilities to avoid being godmodded by people that read them. Although, a careful read of Hisame's history reveals much about her supernatural traits.

Though I do have a profile for her here: nexxushost.com/rpg/thekeep/whois_popup..

Imagine a goddess in power but in human flesh; especially vulnerable to sniper rifles if her guard isn't up, among other things.

Also, how do I hyperlink so I don't have to post links?
I'm not sure how to link to individual posts as opposed to threads on this new format... but the profile sheet is done when I know how to link the post and not the thread.

History

Abilities

Death's Chosen (Passive) - Hisame is bound to the death spirit of her sword. This spirit prevents her from dying by means which do not annihilate her body and heals incurred infliction; the time taken to heal depends upon severity of the injury. It bestows eternal youth and keeps her alive in the event of critical blood loss or incapacitating; reaching these states will result in the spirit possessing her body but it may also assume control at whim.

Bloodthirsting Blade (Passive) - Hisame's sword thirsts for human blood; if it cuts the flesh of another, the wound will become infected. This infection releases endorphins and adrenaline to numb pain and increase blood flow; it causes platelet death at the wound resulting in an inability to close via scabbing and thus creates perpetual bleeding.

The Sacrifice of Blood (Passive) - The Fateful Death may produce spirit-based miracles when it drinks human blood, including Hisame's; use of this blood will drain and parch the blade. The sword may also call blood from nearby open sources such as wounds for a distance of up to 15 feet. Blood created from the miracles is spirit energy made manifest and hence unable to be drank by the Fateful Death.

The Kingdom to Come - Hisame may pull other beings into the realm of spirits. This is by a fashioned event which acts as a trigger to bring the would-be victim over to the other side by fueling their belief in it. This can be done in many ways; for example, if one finds an artifact she has left behind, it may result in some paranormal activity. If the person accepts it as real, the pull the spirit world has over the individual will strengthen; so as more triggers are accepted and their mind is further enticed, the deeper they delve into the spirit realm. Comparable to Silent Hill, it can become very difficult to escape once a level of belief has been passed and the line between realms crossed. What character and environment the world will have is subject to variation given specific triggers.

In this realm spirit energy is abundant and very little of her spirit energy is needed to satisfy the cost of spirit-based attacks which do not require blood (such as a force slash or barrier of will). Therefore if the one(s) she brings with her are adept in use of spirit energy their abilities will also have significantly reduced cost. All blood cost for the Fateful Death are reduced by two-thirds.

The Revelation - Hisame becomes possessed by the spirit of the Fateful Death whether by its want or necessity. She is able to modify her voice tone and volume, control sources of open flame or light, utilize telekinesis, levitation, flight, make herself invisible to the natural eye and manifest copies of herself or other spectral forms.

Her spirit energy becomes dangerous to the living with effects developing quickly. Inhalation results in severe inflammation of the throat to the point of suffocation and the lungs quickly fail due to tissue death. Contact with the skin results in aggressive necrosis and contact with eyes causes rot unto blindness. Contact with Hisame's own flesh, such as with a hand to an arm, results in immediate tissue and muscle death.

This is the expected form to be fighting from the start should the battle take place at night.

@Rilla I haven't used Aki in quite some time; that might change. She's on ice, but maybe her heart will melt.

@ImportantNobody I'm honestly not a fan of the majority of their fights. Tifa vs. Yang was a mismatch, but hey, two "iconic" battle vixens will get people to watch, even if Yang isn't relevant to anything apart from some creation from Monty Oum, who is now also dead. However, I did find ScrewAttack's interpretation of Premium Heart and Final Heaven interesting.

It probably stems more from their utter inability to choreograph swordplay apart from basic 2D Guilty Gear animations. Seeing Cloud vs Link made me laugh out of pity over how poorly storyboarded their actions where; Also, the Sephiroth-Virgil fight. I got to watch Sephiroth use a blade beam attack, then just stand there to see if something would happen. What a marvelous choice from SOLDIER's finest, who is also a brilliant tactician in combat. Let's just... stand there and not have any follow-up because my puppeteers are imbeciles. As long as our viewers keep eating up our garbage.

Their 'no research' approach to One Minute Melee fits well since they have no idea who Sephiroth is; yet they nailed Sakuya Izayoi's style in her match; not to mention the Masamune wasn't long enough.

Although, people are already paying those two and their team for mediocre quality.

Hmm. I ranted more about that than I thought I would.

@Gun Your characters all seem pretty high-power. I'd be at a significant mismatch if I used the one I wanted; though I do have one designed for higher tier fights.

Now I miss playing Yufi... choices.

@MelonHead Not even the People's Champion started at the top of the ladder. The Rock says I gotta know my role and get my push toward the title via the low-mid cards; then I'll have to cut a few promos to stir the crowd.

It's just best for business.
I'll have to first make a sheet for the only character I'll probably use aside from Tifa.
Actually, I have no idea what's going on.
Skeleton man probably can't. He's gonna be busy soon.

Also. I now have a boxer that is currently 0-3 or 4

That boxer sounds like a jobber.
@TasukeYes, he uses various firearms. Though he's fully capable of CQC.

I'll fight that.
We need individual titles based on ruleset so I can become Realistic Unarmed Melee Champion using only Tifa.
