It is allowed. Women can't reach a certain rank, though, so if they continue to advance through the ranks, eventually they would reach a brick wall of gender discrimination.

They aren't common, so it would probably get a strange look at least once.

You seem pretty cool, so I won't bullshit you. A 16 year old blacksmith wouldn't be cute. They would be burly, and probably smelly, and maybe a little hard on the eyes. If not these, they would not be a "Genius blacksmith", more like an amateur. Also, you haven't specified how many throwing knives you have~

Keep in mind that anything not on your sheet can't be used in the roleplay. For example, armour. Or, you know, Ammunition.
That said, I feel like your explanation for possessing a firearm is not sufficient, so it will not be accepted. It's a coward's or an eccentric's weapon, it makes literally no sense for any sane knight to use it, especially considering how bad firearms are compared to other weapons.

Additionally, as a character connected to the Church, we would have to go over some religious details out of the thread. So, if you're still going with this character idea, please contact me privately~!
