History:
Born in his hometown of Peniche, Alex is not a native English speaker, which made his PHD that much more of a trial to obtain when his family moved to north america. Forced to work his way through the education as an underprivileged Portuguese immigrant, Alex excelled despite his thick accent and problems interacting with his peers. The years were not kind to him, but that didn't stand in his way, and he was fortunate enough to obtain his degree after several years of hard work. Unfortunately, before he could even obtain a job in the city, the outbreak shattered his hopes and dreams like a brick through his window.

He keeps quiet about his family situation, but most would assume that everyone he knows has already been killed, since he's practically on his own now. Alex clings to whoever he can, hoping that one day, this menace will come to an end.

Krunklets - These are the common soldiers in the krunk legion! They're only three feet tall, wear a very round set of steel armor, and can roll around like balls to attack!

Krunklites - Like krunklets, but elite-er... Or something. Their armor is black, and they have small razors sticking out around the chest, helmet, and back.

Dr. Krink - A golden Krunk soldier who has some knowledge on science or something. He tends to shout things that he shouldn't very loudly.

The Mole People - Friendly moles who like to save people! They live in the mole tunnels, which seem to go on for quite a long ways.

Lark - Lark is the Leader of Thoris!.. I think. It's not quite clear as to how he came into power, or why anyone actually listens to him at all. He's kind of a moron.

Grezola - A very old prophetess who hates everyone except the 'chosen one' with a fiery passion. Her predictions don't always come true, but sometimes she's so right that it's kinda depressing.

General Horns - Horns is an eccentric fellow in full Ebonmire armor, who has a serious obsession with shouting... A lot. It's almost like the elites in the Krunk legion all have an issue with keeping their voices down. He has a pair of curved horns on his helmet.

General Funk - Funk is a very funky dude. He likes music, making very loud frequencies with his gauntlets that can shatter bones, and being blind. Generally a cool-guy until you piss him off. He has a little trumpet on his helmet, but it doesn't actually do anything. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

General Spike - Spike is considered the top-dog around the Krunk fortress. Well, aside from Krunk himself. Everyone takes orders from him, otherwise he'll pierce them with his mega-sharp spike launchers! That massive spike on his head is not just for show, by the way...

The lands of Nexicon are flooded with a plethora of different entities, ranging from ridiculous and goofy, to meticulous and heartless. The infinite array of races spanning across the continent of Shen make for many chaotic instances of conflict and/or buffoonery. Truly, the lands are plagued with an unfortunate curse that shatters even the most intelligent being's perception of how people should function. Come to think of it, when's the last time you came across a frikkin' human who thinks life in Shen is normal?? God, it's a literal hell-scape of calamity half the time!

Well, not really, but a lot of people seem to think so.

Starting Premise

This RP will have a fairly simple premise, and a very linear plot-line that I'd like to present for everyone to enjoy. I think the free section fits it best, as the characters in this universe will have very cartoonish, outgoing personalities and make the entire thing feel like a giant videogame, so to speak.

How do you get involved? Well it's simple! You just so happen to be attending a royal carnival that's passing through your hometown of Newjinsland! But something about it is awfully suspicious. Well, since it's being hosted by tiny round dudes in armor, it'd be hard to consider the thing to be un-suspicious, wouldn't it? Following the events that would take place there, your group will be pulled into a marvelous adventure of spectacle, wonder, and of course, insanity! The RP will consist of a prologue, 7 chapters, and a finale, after which it might end if there's nowhere to go from there. Sound familiar? Heh.

This will be a fairly leisurely RP to have fun and interact with a lot of outgoing, goofy characters. Of course, there will be a few characters who are very serious, as the world wouldn't be able to function without them, yea? At any rate, I hope to bring an enjoyable experience to all who show interest.

The genre is fantasy, and almost all characters would be acceptable in this universe.

Tex's Golden Rules

1: Do not Godmod, metagame, Powerplay, Autohit or Assume that I won't catch you trying to do all four.
-Godmodding: Affecting the environment, or your character, as if you were a god. E.G. changing the time of day, messing with the environment significantly, granting yourself abilities you don't have, etc.
-Metagaming: Knowing things you shouldn't, period. You can't just 'know' everything about the universe or 'read' minds. Explain your knowledge in the character sheet/in character, and don't metagame.
-Powerplaying: Controlling other characters to you whims. Just... Just don't.
-Autohitting: Hitting with an attack without consent. If the opponent cannot feasibly dodge, they should take the damage, and I will be the judge of what an unfeasible dodge is.

2: Do not spam the IC with an endless stream of posts. You may post as much as you want, but do not double post, and please don't go too far ahead of other player unless you are not anywhere near them.

3: Do not be rude OOC. You are allowed to be rude IC obviously. Just don't start fights in the OOC, or your ass is graaassss

4: Do not create a mary sue. Your characters need to have flaws. They need to be evident. Please don't ruin this for everyone else by acting like you're the main fucking protagonist or antagonist or whatever-the-hell-messiah-twat with a god-complex.

5: Consult me if you would like to add to the lore or history.

6: There are no other immediate rules. I'll speak up if something unruly happens. Just have fun, don't step on each other, we'll be alright

7: Do not sign up if you cannot manage to keep up with everyone else. All I ask is one post a day. No excuses. If you have a legitimate reason as to why you cannot make a post, then that's fine. I'll end this by saying 'I was too busy' is not a valid excuse.
