I feel like Myriad Reality is somehow the secret glue holding this entire site together

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Gonna shut this down, as a combination of factors have drained my interest, and it is simply lingering here. Good run though. @Necrophage
The masked man flew across the guild, over the masses below him who, one by one, fell prey to his duplicate allies. They tore through them easily, forcing many to retreat, but when the first crashed against the westward wall, and fall to the ground, the immediately stopped their slaughter and turned to observe, leaving many to retreat unharmed. In moments, the three clone-like masked men were left alone in the adventurer's guild with Felix, or rather, whatever had taken control of Felix's body.

"My oh my. I felt that!"

"He sure did a number on me!"

"That he did!"

The launched clone stood up and brushed splinters of wood from his body, looking down to his stomach, which now sported a rather frightening series of cracks along what appeared to be an extension of his metallic body. But, within moments, the cracks sealed themselves, and his vest reformed. This was no man, it was a monster.

"What what? It speaks on its own, does it? Fully in control? Rubbish!" The masked man shouted, walking forward and standing between his two clones, "I'm shocked and appalled that you would even think yourself a match for me!"

"He does sport a particularly cocky demeanor, doesn't he."

"You don't much care for it."

"You couldn't agree more, myself!" The center man stepped forward and gazed upon Felix with his glowing white eyes, curiously scanning the boy. "I suppose I'd best slaughter you now, lest your master finds providence in steel. Gaze upon me and utter your final breaths- Not that I care!" A moment later, the windows behind Felix burst open, and two more masked men rolled to surround him from both sides.

"Outnumber and overwhelm!"

"Strength in unity!"

"Peekaboo! Prisma's here!" The initial clone of Prisma shouted, charging forward with his bladed are still at the ready, and aiming to impale Felix.
As Jenso eyed the two, Zelriane caught him glancing his way, and shifted his path towards the fiery ki user. His pace was slow, and rather lax, which posed little threat, and showed that Zelriane was oddly content with his surroundings. It was much unlike they way he'd walked when Jenso first saw him, where he had appeared astutely aware of his surroundings, and always on guard. Now, he looked as if he didn't have a care in the world. As he approached Jenso, the details in his mask showed nothing of his actual composure. His hands fell to his sides and he sized Jenso up before offering a slight bow.

"You are the golden boy that Ada spoke of," Zelriane stated, gazing into Jenso's eyes, unblinking, "Yes?"
@rush99999 oh, in the future however, try to refrain from automatically hitting opponents unless they are small fry.
Ah, a second personality? This leaves quite a bit of room for development! I think I'm going to enjoy your hero tale :)
Oh, by the way, the initial catalyst encounter allows you to pull an ex-machina power boost at any point. You could potentially use this to escape, deal actual damage to the villain, or pull a feat. Usually this power boost is indicative of some modicum of your potential
"I don't care about your name!" The man shouted, closing the gap between himself and Felix, "That sword, that soul! Where in the world did you come from? This miserable little kingdom has brought few that meet any significant criteria!.. Ah, but what am I wasting my time for?" The man's arm rose, and began to change in color and shape, until it was shimmering like newly polished steel. His arm was a blade, unlike any Felix had seen before. Magic?! Magic was rare among the adventurers, and coveted by royalty! Who the hell was this?

"Kill him!"

"Run through him!"

"Night night!" The masked man whispered, rising his hand and dropping it towards Felix with a slight delay.
The two men tied, scissors to scissors. Rajaka grunted, and they tossed again. Once again, rock to rock. the two tied about ten more times, boring the crowd to death, before finally, Rajaka was able to pull a victory over Zelriane. Zelriane smirked under his mask.

"Best two out of three?"

"Forget it!" Rajaka roared, stepping forwards and kicking Zelriane in the stomach. Zelriane simply flew backwards, looking like he wasn't hurt, before stopping himself in midair, just over the edge of the arena, where he landed safely with his hands still crossed. The announcer didn't even speak, but Rajaka looked up and rose his finger towards where Jenso was standing, before pointing his thumb towards the ground with a devilish golden smile.

"There's only one golden boy in this multiverse, chump!" He shouted with a burning yellow ferocity in his eyes. The crowd didn't react, but he immediately turned around and walked off of the stage.
Lorges struggled, but was unable to free himself. The pale-haired man's mouth curved up, slightly visible behind his tightly fitting mask, and he turned his eyes towards Felix. "Oh?" In an instant, the man dropped Lorges, and stepped over him, firmly placing one of his feet against the Dwarf's ribcage before landing closer to Felix. "What have we here? a little one?"

"Ah yes, he's a curious one, like that big fellow I split in half!"

"Hah! He had a bit of magic in him, that he did!"

"Boy, who are you?" The masked man questioned, as his two twins descended upon the adventurers that flooded the bar. By now, they knew these visitors were no joke. Men and women of all races, mostly Dwarves, surrounded the rogue-like monstrous men, and clashed against them with steel and bronze, looking to take down the unwelcome foes with due diligence. The crowds made it difficult to see the other two masked men beyond the one that had disabled Durwith and Lorges before Felix, as the third had jumped down from his perch above the crowds. "Speak up! I only have ten ears!"
Mikey didn't respond, but the robed man nodded to Jenso and waved him off before returning to Mikey's body. He smiled and shook his head. "You did quite a bit of damage to each other, didn't you?" He muttered to himself, shutting the tent door with a subtle sigh.

As Jenso arrived at the edge of the arena, Rajaka and Zelriane were already in the ring. Rajaka was grabbing his right shoulder and twisting his arm around, stretching about his biceps and triceps, while Zelriane stood calmly with his hands crossed behind his back. The short green-clothed man looked over to Jenso briefly, and then back to his bigger ally.

"Zelriane Versus Rajaka!" The announcer shouted, "Let the battle of these mysterious masked challengers begin!"

The crowd went silent, and the two masked men began walking towards eachother. Zelriane tip-toed forward towards the center of the ring, and Rajaka stomped his way across recklessly. They finally stopped at the center of the arena, and both pulled their hands back.

The crowd didn't breath, they were perfectly still, both preparing an ultimate attack of some sort, or so it seemed. But before they thrust their arms forwards, they spoke to eachother.

"You know your strongest attacks won't even hurt me already, bro," Rajaka whispered.

"I am also aware that, even at your best, you could never lay a finger on me, brother," Zelriane replied, "This is the only way to break the stalemate."

"Feh, not like we came here to fight each-other, anyways. Alright! Let's..."

"Rock"

"Paper!"

"Scissors!"
