"Nothin' for it but to dive in, a'suppose." Cydone stood at the edge of the water. He didn't reckon there was much anyone could do from up here, so best to just head for the objective or something. And so he did.

Cydone glanced around at the deep sea around him, through his strange little head bubble of air that had been provided to him before leaving. "Hmph, makes me feel like one of them crazy spaceman Machina. One decent dispel and I'm a drown'd man." Shaking his head warrily at the locale and the spell that allowed him to breath in it, Cydone was rather distrusting anything that wasn't familiar or created by his own hands. "Guess we'd better get movin'. A net for fishing as good as I got. Hope someone else has better." Cydone began swimming forward towards the ruins, weaving a net with his Kandata Strings, for combing through the city in search of the staff.

Cassiopia

Appearance

"Will you be alright? You look kinda fire themed." Cassiopia stretched a little, as futile as the motion was with her physiology, as she questioned one of the other demons present, Khaine. Still the Necrolimb armor she was wearing could use the stretching.

Whether he responded or not, Cassiopia cannonballed into the water, figuring the answer wasn't too important. Either she'd be strong enough to claim the prize for herself, or she wouldn't. Whether the demons as a faction won or lost wasn't important to her.

~Well, this is kinda weird.~ Cassiopia found herself sinking, though not very fast. ~I bet I'd be buoyant if not for the Necrolimb armor. Guess I should shapeshift into some sort of aquatic creature. What's the most succubi-like aquatic animal? Eh, I dunno, I'll just roll something quick with good nightvision. Maybe a Mako?~ Cassiopia shapeshifted into one of the general fast swimmer fish types, pulling the Necrolimb armor inside of herself for reduced drag, and started swimming.

~Well, if I was a super scary magical beast, and was hiding the staff, I'd hide in the super scary chasm. Guess I'll check there first.~ Cassiopia made sure she had some decent camouflage dark top and lighter bottom with illuminated spots to mimic the lights above as she descended. Sure, it was no Machina optical camouflage, but it had served fishies well for as long as there had been fishies.

I'd like to submit one last ability for Cass. Thought I was neglecting her slime side a little.

Omnivore- As a slime, Cass is capable of eating anything, including rock and metal, given enough time to dissolve it and break it down, as she's not as acidic or caustic as some full-"blooded" slimes. That said, while she can sustain herself on anything, she can only increase her size as full slimes do by eating things that also appeal to her Succubus nature. Her maximum mass is currently x8 of her normal, and without continued feeding, she shrinks back to normal size (aka, between battles, returns to normal size). When sized up to her maximum, which takes a fair bit of feeding, she's not very subtle about her slime nature, even with her prodigious shapeshifting, as her succubus traits are spread a bit thin at 16'8". Ignore the oozing.

@KoL You've allowed spider-sense precognition abilities (which is what his is described as) on Tatiana and Artoria. They're both gone now, so no worries.

Alexi, Knight of Winter

Somewhere within the eternal war and battle lines of the Nexus, on a contested Machina border.

"A common lament." Alexi noted as Wolf spoke of man vs gods. "Even the gods here seem to share that cry."

As her own swordsmanship was questioned, Alexi tilted. "Truly? We are uncertain. We thought we were very good with the blade, but then we died when we came to the Nexus. I alone seem to have come back from death, but still, we were unable to avoid it." Alexi had died once, and never defeated an opponent. If Alexi had known how the Nexus worked and how only champions of their respective factions were revived, she would have been quite confused that she had been revived. But she didn't, so it was simply a mystery accepted calmly like all the other mysteries of the nexus.

"We are not certain I have fought anyone sword to sword since we came here. We clashed against the blade of the Ravenous Flame, but, that was simply a test of strength and speed and magic played out through the blade. We were found wanting with a single strike, and did not have any power left to contest her in skill." Alexi explained her previous defeat.

"If one of you wishes to test the strength of the Knights of Winter, we would be glad to accommodate. Though, by our reckoning, I would be helpless as a babe before the Anti-Magic of Wolf, as our strength and speed rely on magic, or the toxins of Bone Sword. You may have to restrain your power to my level if you wish to see my skill." Alexi rose from her seat, and raised her sword.

"By the way... I wouldn't be so hasty to make that claim of 'Queen of the Lizards' if I were you. You know very well who the top reptilian is. If there's anyone that can contest these words of your it's her." Zyata's eyes, narrowed, as she concentrated. That.. didn't sound quite right.

"Hang on... I'm pretty sure she said 'Saurians'. And Miss Eclipse Princess is a Snake. I don't remember snakes being part of Saurians. Are you sure?” Zyata pulled out a smart phone from among her gear, long since disconnected from Machina networks, though Eos could probably still spy on it if she really cared what Zyata happened to be doing with the slightest sliver of effort. Zyata pulled up a few years out of data encyclopedia program. It was somewhat relaxing to have something to distract herself from... Focus! She interrupted the errant train of thought.

"Yeah, snakes aren't saurians. Different clades entirely. Wonder what a clade means. I'll check that later. Sure, they're both reptiles, though..” Zyata probably shouldn't have tried to 'correct' someone when she herself required the assistance of a smartphone to reference, especially when that someone was a Vassal. But as stated before, mouth shuting was not among Zyata's skills. "Snakes aren't lizards either, even if that was what she claimed.”
