A scantron exam, but the answer is always C. Just C. Always C. Not a single A, B, D, or E. All answers are C. The statistical improbability is diabolical!

By default the Jimmy Buffet Bard is on a quest for a Salt Shaker after losing it after a black-out night of booze, sponge cake, carousing, and women with his only hint tattooed on his chest...

A realm between.
The gap by the gate.
Hidden yet threaded upon.

But the Death God would not find himself at home as he stepped through the tear in the planes. Rather he would find himself in a dark hallway, stretching back seemingly without end as the walls echoed down beyond sight. A pocket dimension created as the warp between the mortal world and the underworld was elongated into infinity. Here the walls kept their secret, concealing from the gods that which happened in-between.

As he entered, the realm would greet him, alive to an extent, but not alive to another. The walls spoke, their vibrations uttering words as Darko would hear a familiar voice. "Death is not the End. But all kings die, but a throne is not lost. What will the Dead do to Dust?" X delivered his message to Darko, a warning perhaps or taunt. No one ever really knew what X spoke of until it was too late, only the other Gods possibly considered the Gods of Knowledge would have a chance to decipher his riddle-like truths. And they were half-truths at best, useless without the rest of the information withheld by the God of Secrets. Only omens did he speak, yet heeding the advice of one who knew what one did not was...

Upon closer inspection the halls were made not of stone or brick or wood or steel... But rather of moths. Thousands upon Thousands of black moths, fluttering their wings in vibrations to produce the voice Darko heard, all as X floated in the heavens.

It should be fine.
Although if Darko has any issues I'd like them known before accepting.
Since after all he is a death god.
This thread has not yet reached 0 Health.
It is not quite dying yet.
Oh Right, sorry, Darko.

Why do I keep thinking Vaarko?
I'll let Vaarko decide, we already have a god of death who then reaps souls.

Not sure if I want to get into that territory dispute :P
Well, it depends. A Messenger isn't a messenger when he care about saving his life given the amount of information he baits out there.
There is no reason why Bedivere shouldn't expect Martin to be either bluffing, or not the messenger at all.
To which, given that this human seems to have knowledge of vampires, there is no reason to be so dismissive of him.
He has seen them, understood their power, and attempted to bargain with them.

the "Why bother?" no longer applies as Martin is in far too deep to be brushed off as a stupid human.
Not a threat yet, but rather an annoyance to be nipped before it festers into something more.
Besides, if Martin was really smart, he'd just give the vampires what they want.

Since he hasn't, it's assumed he as some contingency plan to execute. Thus if we do not kill him, then he'd play us like chess pieces.
A fledging would kill without letting him speak. The fact that Bedivere allowed him to live this long was surprisingly noble of him.
That or he enjoys playing with his victory snack.
Well, it is his Castle after all.
Martin shows up uninvited.
And not a vampire.

So letting him live would demonstrate Bedivere's sympathy towards humans?
Hrm... I think it looks fine.

What do you think Vaarko?

Do we have a true god of the soul to contend with?

Another Neutral God it seems.
Well.

As a human, if an ant comes along crawling over your kitchen table with a bread crumb...

Do you question why it is doing here? Or do you give it some time to get out of your sight before crushing it with a newspaper?
And of course, Bedivere wouldn't care for his information as that would be a hollow victory.
What victory would it be if you used the tools granted by the enemy?

See the humans allowed the vampires a victory at that point, and there's a great shame associated with that.
So I'm afraid Martin will most likely die unless there is some compelling evidence that Martin is not a human at all.
Being cryptic and bargaining isn't a good approach in such a case when one's life is on the line :I

And as we know from Mr. Stone's interaction, Bedivere isn't above saying "Carpe Noctem" and letting whatever happens happen believing himself invincible.
