So then why not make up your own barrier magic? THinking about it and examples of barrier like powers it would have a fair enough amount of limitations and the like.

Is it cool if he can throw them like a wave cutter, and that he has to be within a certain range to maintain the barriers? Like say, 40 feet?

Runes and what not can be fun and stuff.

I don't really like the idea of Copy Magic, mainly because if he had that, he'd just have to touch the Antagonist and basically level the playing field with no real effort.
Also fudge, read up on the barrier stuff, what the heck man?

WHY ARE BARRIER PARTICLES POISON? I meant more like shields, but meh...bad juju.
Also I don't really fully understand Dark Ecriture's limitations. For all I know, it could be as simple as writing out: "Dead" and then have the opponent just drop dead.
Was thinking maybe Re-Equip, but the only really cool one is armor, and I know that's rare.

Maybe. Maybe one of those, because I'd rather do anything than just go with one element. I like being flexible with things my character can do.
Also wouldn't Palm Magic just do exactly what Ripple Magic does anyway?
...Would Barrier magic be alright?

You could do nearly everything Laxus does since a majority of the spells he uses are Lightning magic and not Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic. Both i've said so far actually fit very well with your character.

Well poo. As much as I hate having elemental magic, you make a damn good point. I guess he'll be an ice mage of some kind...but really, I don't know if I wanna just make him an Ice-Make mage, or come up with a new ice magic.
