G'night Paige.

...Now, before I make the villain, I'd like to ask you all a question. To my knowledge this is indeed a remake of the Mighty Morphin era of Power Rangers. So I'd like to ask you all for a choice:

Shall I use Original Villains? ...Or, use remade versions of the villains of that Era? (Basically the United Alliance of Evil itself, revised.)
*Breaks in through the wall, gets up and looks around*

...Oh, hi there. With Paige's permission, I'm going to be your bad guy for this evening. I'm reserving the Main Villain slot. ...Gonna need a little bit of time to think of which of my villains to use for this.
Needless to say, Kotaro was shocked at the sheer speed of the Neo-Shadow as it dodged the Parry. He thought about dodging but unfortunately, his mind thinks faster then his body can react, and got his chest scratched and bleeding as a result. Fortunately the momentum of his blade was supported by gravity and struck it down anyways. When the battle was over, he took a deep breath and sighed, an act that was made somewhat uncomfortable thanks to the wounds on his chest. There were a few cuts on his leg as to be expected, holes in his black jeans that needed to now be sewn shut. But they weren't as bad as the ones on his chest so he chose to ignore it for now. He then noticed how Isadora gotten rid of her heartless group, and needless to say, was quite fascinated by her skill, and most especially the look in her eyes as she destroys her foes. The emotions she let out showed the difference between the two, making Kotaro almost envious of her...passion, for lack of a better word.

"Not one emotion reserved. Either she's really dedicated to the darkness, or she really hates these things." Kotaro thought. When they were both finished, he stood up straight looking at Axeus, He first stated that he accepted the two as his apprentices, to which Kotaro wanted to give thanks to him for, but figured words could irritate him as it did for that woman that led him here. As such, he simply nodded as his way of saying his thanks, before listening what could only be described as his first lecture to them both. A lecture about pain and what pain would create in the heart. When he met Tamius for the first time, he recalled him denying the treatment Kotaro would give him for pain. Throughout those days he just beared the pain as the injuries slowly healed.

"Find life in Misery...was this what he meant?" Kotaro asked, still not necessarily getting it. However, his thoughts were interrupted when the darkness crept into his wounds and created an unspeakable pain, enough to make him cough blood. He was caught off-guard, as it felt like an icicle pierced his chest. His ears still listened to Axeus as he tried to bear the pain as his friend bore his...easier said than done, far easier.

"Use the power, to control others... use pain, to control others...acheiving our goals...through pain?" Kotaro's noted these in his head, and now he was starting to understand, or at least he believes so. As the pain rushed through him, his mind was rushing with thoughts of logic, and agony, making it hard to keep track of them. When the darkness ceased its attack, Kotaro dropped to one knee, gasping for air as his head was still something of a mess, but it was starting to stabilize and come back together, one last aftershock of the nerves and those then stabilized as well. He slowly got up, and went back into position. The healing of cure actually was painful at first as the nerves and skin regenerated on the spot, but by the end he felt like he never got injured in the first place. As he listened to his master speak to him, he was amazed by what he said, though he didn't know what amazed him more: The fact that simply throwing a Keyblade is a technicque in of itself, or the fact that there was a better way of performing the act of throwing it. Maybe it was modesty thinking, but he didn't think it was as grand as that. After all, all he did was do the most sensical thing he could think of with a magic sword. He then heard that Captain Veros will be his teacher, immediately making him freeze up.

"...Oh dear, looks like it was a good thing to be learning about pain after all." He thought. He heard Axeus mention that he expected him to get this done by the morning, to which he nodded. For a moment, if only a moment, pride entered his thoughts. It was just a matter of learning how to throw properly, right? How hard could that possibly be? He then heard what Axeus said next. He recalled that people believed that apprentices of the dark were treated harsh, but at least his master was kind enough to explain to him the reason for that harshness. He gave a smile as he was dismissed and gave a salute.

"Yes Master. ...I won't let you down!" He said, that gentle smile on his face. He walked over and followed Veros as was told.
"Out of the frying pan...into the fire." He thought as he followed her to the training room. Needless to say, this was rotten luck for him as well. Of all the people he was sure Axeus had under his command, he made his personal trainer the one who clearly hates his guts the moment he stepped on to the planet. That said though, maybe that was the point. Dark Keyblade warriors are warriors above all else, warriors need harsh training to be prepared to fight like Axeus explained, and who is harsher than someone who hates your guts? They entered the Training room and...

"Wow..." He said with a smile of awe on his face. He was not expecting something like this. This place looked absolutely amazing, the sunlight giving a proper shine to it. Everything looked practically clean and new. There was only one thing here he knew nothing about though, those cylinders. Whatever those were they were heavily related to magic, shown by the energy they give out...Charge stations perhaps? No, that doesn't seem right. Before he could think on them any further though, in comes the voice of Veros verifying his name, to which he looks at her and give a quick nod.

"Not another word, Kotaro... You don't need to give her another reason to want to throw that keyblade of hers at you..." He thought. He then listened to her explanation of how Strike Raid works. Seeing it himself, he was quite amazed by the boomerang effect of the keyblade. It didn't occur to him to consider it being able to return to him, if only because boomerangs are bended the way they ae specifically for that purpose while keyblades are completely straight. Still, it's worth a try. He nodded to her as she claims it's his turn. Summoning his keyblade he looked at the dummy.

"A link with my weapon, ...requiring control over it. Got to focus..." He thought. He took a deep breath and sighed. When he was ready, he threw the Keyblade as he did before seeing it spin almost perpetually towards the dummy and indeed cleaving it in two. But now came the hard part as he tried to focus on calling it back to him, extending his hand out towards it, thinking that might help to control it, moving his hand a little to the right he noticed as the Keyblade started to change directions and steer towards the right. Then a little to the left. As he felt he was getting somewhat of the hang of this, he tried to figure out how to call it back to him. As if like a chain he pulled his left hand to his right side, hoping that would pull it back to him. Instead it pulled a hard right causing Paradise Sealed to smack right at a Magic Conductor before dropping to the floor.

"...Uhh...Well, At least I know how to steer it now. Now I just need to have it come back." Kotaro said, somewhat calm, or rather trying to keep calm since it's easy to believe Veros might have temptations to hide his corpse right about now.

"No tolerance for failure...Lets just hope beginner mistakes doesn't count as that." He thought.
Like Sin, I too should have something done by the end of the week at latest. Though admittingly, ...my reasons aren't as important as Pernicious', (You have my condolences; I know what it feels like to lose a dog you really care about.) or Sin's. (I wish you good luck as you end the semester.) I've simply been busy these past few weeks.
"Mercy? ...Yeah, there is such a thing in the darkness as Mercy. But the Darkness devours such concepts, giving nothing but scarce remains. ...Mercy isn't something you give away so easily, Mercy is like respect, it is earned, and once taken away to earn it back is a practically impossible feat. Give Mercy to those who deserve it, ...and the rest..."

Kotaro saw the two who weren't killed by the attack about to come at him, spinning around and around like tornadoes clearly attempting to go for rapidly scratching to tear him apart. But the third one got destroyed at least, so these two are the only ones left. That said though, the only thing he could do at the short amount of time to plan something out is to essentially jump out of the way again, this time backflipping in the hopes of his legs kicking the two that would come down...though it was just as possible to hit their claws and getting the back of his legs scratched up as a result. By now, unless they still had the momentum to keep on spinning, they should have landed. In which case, now was the time to make his next move before they attacked him again.

"The keyblade comes to me whenever I call for it, right? In that case, this should hopefully work." He thought. With the keyblade in his left hand, he quickly placed it near his right hip, then forced towards the left side in a horizontal motion, but right in the middle of it he let go of his keyblade and let it be thrown spinning at the left Neo-Shadow to cut it in half, then he attempted to summon it again into his hand.

Should it work, he would again wait for the last Neo-Shadow to make his move make the Keyblade appear in his hand while dodging the inevitable attempt to kill him by the Neo-Shadow, and parry his move via a diagonal slash from the bottom-left to the top-right.

Should the Keyblade fail to appear in his hand like he feared, Kotaro will simply proceed to dodge nonetheless and attempt to actually roundhouse kick the Neo-Shadow from the left side. Probably a bad move, certainly not a smart one, but without a keyblade it was the only option of defense.

Worse case scenario: Should the Keyblade fail to kill the second one, his only option against two heartless without a keyblade was to rush over to the Keyblade he threw, risking the giant probability of getting slashed to crap with those razor claws of theirs, and wait for them to make their move. Should the keyblade respond in this scenario, then all he could do is wait for them to again attempt striking at him, let them make the first move...No, remembering what Tamius said about Mercy, he can't do that. He would have to be the one to make the first move instead. As such, he would run towards them in an attempt to strike them both down one at a time with a few slashes each.
I apologize for the wait.
(Terribly sorry for the wait.)

Adam looked towards Alice, the woman, actually it seemed everyone at this point began to head after him, if not to run from whatever the rabbit fears, then to find out what these watches are exactly directly from the running rabbit. He listened to Connor as he apparently deduces the situation.

"It looks that way. The actual novel aside, if the Rabbit is taking us hopefully to safety, or to a better place to explain himself, at least, then it's probably best we follow." Adam said as he ran off with the others, hopefully expecting Connor to follow as well.
"So where are we going?" Alice asked to the rabbit in the front, hopping through the forest with incredible speeds for such a small creature.

"...To the Bastion, I believe mentioned before, in which none of the queen's forces would dare enter. Hopefully after explaining everything there, we can head straight towards the queen's castle." The Rabbit responded. Alice looked at him as he explained this, as if he said something odd. She read the original book years ago, and as she recalled, the Rabbit was the queen's servant, not a particularly important servant but one nonetheless. But going by what he said to the Cheshire Cat, this Rabbit actually seems hellbent on rebellion against this queen. Se knew how brutal this woman was in the books, but how bad is she that her own servant would risk his head to take her out?
Funny you mention that, Double. Combining that with their special ability (D/L Modes), I was actually hoping for the two to be Rivals. Much like Ven/Vanitas, Sora/Riku, etc.
Kotaro stood on his knee in silence as this woman, now named Isadora, explains her reasons for coming here as well. It was only fair, as she was at least polite enough to wait until he was finished. She mentioned how she also knew of a Keybearer who knew of Lord Axeus just like he did. The moment she mentioned how long she has been searching for the Dark Master, she gave a glare at him which made Kotaro look away to the side. He can tell by it, that what he said about how long he searched for him insulted her. How wouldn't it? He only looked for a week, she did the same for three whole years. It must have been three years full of problems, full of challenges and obstacles.

The Otherverse was a place he never heard of, but there's not much he could do about that, since he never been outside his world before now.

One last thing to note was who it was in her case who influenced her to come here. Tamius mentioned something about the World Eater, supposedly a monstrous force that, given the amount of time, could probably devour the universe itself. Unlike this Helena, of course, he never saw it or fought it with Lord Axeus, as it was fought and supposedly sealed up years before Tamius was born. To hear Isadora's story, to hear about Helena, his eyes grew wide with a spark of fascination. Whoever she was, it sounded like she was an amazing warrior and all-around woman. Certainly someone worth investigating. ...But if this lady did fight with Axeus all those years, ...why did this girl leave her? Did something happen in this Otherverse? ...Did something happen to her?

Before he could say anymore on it, in came another female wielder of the Keyblade, looking like she needed medical support. She claims that her squad got attacked by a Heartless...Wait, A heartless?

"So then, even Lord Axeus can't control all of them?" Kotaro thought. He then watched as Axeus ordered Tendra to kill the Heartless...and any survivors of this woman's squad, before he then summoned his keyblade and kicked the woman right in the chest. So this was the Master's Keyblade. Looking at it, there was no doubt it belonged to him, the design making it look like a Keyblade of nightmarish imagination. If the Keyblade's design is a representation of the wielder's heart, ...then a question is raised in his head: ...What was it that made the Dark Master who he was? What drove his heart to forge something like that? His thoughts were then interrupted when Axeus began to speak to them again, his stare like a bitter blizzard to his heart.

""Know this," The Master began to explain. "If you come under my wing, there is no room for mistakes." He then proceeded to kill the woman, making her body fade into darkness and come back as some kind of shadow. Kotaro closed his eyes for a second as it happened, before looking again to see the Shadow form.

"...So, this is how a heartless is made? But it's so...small. ...Could it be that...she didn't have as dark a heart as the others?" Kotaro thought. He then looked up at his Master as he continued his first lecture.

"This is the life of a Keyblade wielder of my faction. Kill or be killed; succeed, or be removed. Ours is a world of fear, pain, and devotion. If you are to be my apprentices, I expect you to follow me without question..." ...Kotaro knew this. He knew what he was getting himself into by joining the Darkness. Tamius explained enough for him to know this. ...Still, is it right even in the standards of Darkness to go straight to killing them all, to release their darkness after just one failure? All things go into the darkness eventually, he knows this as well...but what bothered him the most, wasn't the act itself, as such an act may be warranted one day, but just how quickly the Master resorted to it. Perhaps such acts of darkness empowers him, so it's best not to question it for now. He saw him continue...

"I sense greatness from both of you. When I first heard of your arrival on Fallen Jungle, I knew within my heart that you two would be important to me, to my destiny. For two young ones that I've never met, both with connections to my past, both wishing to be apprentices, to come to me the same day is unprecedented. I have no doubt that you two will be my finest apprentices. So, think of this test as more of a formality..." His tone was lighter, softer, from a blizzard to a mild shower of snow. But immediately afterwards, he summoned two groups of three heartless, similar but appearing much more powerful compared to the one the lady became.

"So he CAN control them... But then, what makes the heartless out there so different?" He thought. He stood up as he looked at the two groups. He then heard Axeus conclude his first lecture...

"Isadora, Kotaro, you have two options. Defeat these Heartless and prove to me that you are worthy... or die." He said. As if on that note, the two groups dashed at the two apprentices. As they approached Kotaro, a stream of unconscious thoughts went through his head. The way they moved towards him suggests that they were intelligent enough to produce strategies. But it only seems like they're capable of basic strategies like this. Two on the sides heading to flank him, and one in the front heading to tear his throat out it seemed. With that in mind, he had to think fast putting pressure on the right knee of the leg he extended outward to the front. His left hand clenched into a fist and near the right side of the waist.

"This is it. ...Concentrate." He thought. He stood there for a while, as the heartless came closer and closer. When they were close enough to finally go for the killing blow, he pushed enough his force on his right knee to make him jump back a step or two while then summoning the keyblade into his left hand and swinging it horizontally from right to left as fast and with as much force as he could muster on such short notice. Since two of them should flanking, he would hopefully have at least struck a good cut those two. Landing from his miliseconds of airtime from the jump and hopefully now down to one, with the momentum of the first slash, he would raise the Keyblade above him and attempt a vertical slash from top to bottom down the middle of the last heartless, hopefully cutting him in half.

For the perceptive, one thing to notice would be his keyblade: A very accurate representation of his heart. It would have been an angellic keyblade with a golden blade and the teeth encrusted in sky-blue sapphires, the keychain would have been a sun, and the hilt would have the wings of a dove or an angel crafted on top of it. But right now, the Sun was wrapped in chains, the wings of a dove darkened into the wings of a raven, the golden and jewelry were darkened by dirt and decay, and the entirety of the blade, was wrapped in a sash of black silk.
Sin said From what I remember from Sword in the Stone, there wasn't much to it besides the dungeon(?) and scariest villain in any Disney movie. Not sure there's much to do in there? I guess Beast's Castle had the same kind of thing going on, though.

Scariest Villain? ...I think you're confusing Sword in the Stone with The Black Cauldron. (What with the Horned King.) The Sword in the Stone is the movie about To-Be-King Arthur being taught the way of the world and nature by Merlin, and really only had Mad Madam Mim as a villain(?). Plus there's alot more to that world than a dungeon. (The name of the world would probably be Camelot.)

Also, to be fair, Beast's Castle WAS pretty huge. Not quite sure how big the Horned King's castle would be, even if we combine it with the Witches' Swamp.

For the record (After some thought, I realized I may have sounded like this was the case.): I'm not upset that it wasn't available, simply curious as to why it wasn't. Especially since, if you look at the Disneycember sum-up of the movie linked on my list, (Seeing the movie would be even better.) It feels like it would fit the theme. (Assuming I'm right with the theme, of course.)

Wayward said @Mike (& Jest): I'm good on the idea of having an idea like that, though the worlds themselves could be write-ins. The only think to remember as far as that goes is that we are operating within an AU setting, so those worlds might not be exactly as they were in the games.

Thank you, We won't let you or Kurai-Sensei down. :D
