I haven't met a person who doesn't like Wes. Wes is awesome.

If I am gonna stay, I gotta ask. From what I read, the Harbinger lost his lance in the rubble. I could see Wes yoinking it and stabbing the shit out of the knight. Could he also look like either of these? (Bonus to anyone who knows who they are.)

I'm afraid that the lance is inhumanly large, and heavy. If Wes is just a normal man, which I'm assuming he is, he would hardly be able to lift the lance with two hands; much less maneuver it in any reasonable way. But I suppose Wes can figure that out by himself if he's willing to run past the soon to be rampaging Harbinger and descend into the freshly built skylight. I'd be happy to collaborate on that or any other post you'd like to write, assuming you'd like my help. Of course, this is contingent on you staying. I can't devote any time to it if I don't get a straight forward answer.

As to your question about the appearance of the Harbinger: the first image isn't showing up, but the second seems accurate enough. Minus the cyclops shades, and lacy parts.
And then everything decided to conspire against me. Sorry if I've been gone, lads and lasses. The Internet Gods decided to smite my house, first by breaking the connection, and then by breaking the router box. Suffice to say, its been an incredibly dreadful and boring five days. I'd ask what I've missed, but it doesn't really feel like I belong here anymore. I wanted to throw up a post when the Harbinger(or whatever he's called) showed up, but things just didn't really twerk out. Shrug, does anyone know what I mean? You miss too much, you don't get a good introduction in, etc

I don't think that time-frame has passed yet. We have yet to move beyond the Harbinger by any means actually. If you truly wanted to remain in the RP, I'm fairly certain you could do so. However, I also don't like to put myself in the position of begging people to stay. So all I can really say is that you follow your instinct, do what you think is right. Not only for yourself but everyone else as well.

I'm sure you'll make the right choice, but I'm afraid it's one I'll have to rush you on. I'll need a definite answer as to your interest and availability by Friday at the latest.

Well done, @MacabreFox! Artemisia certainly has a mouth on her, doesn't she?

Let's hope it helps! *Fingers crossed*

Oh, one small thing: Both Leonard and Alistair are from the British isles. The only American is Epunamun, who is actually a former Incan warrior.

Yes I hope we haven't, I like how diverse our cast is! Before the site went down I wrote mainly in casual/high casual. And being here is similar to writers paradise.

I wholeheartedly agree!
I sent out a few pings over PM to our more absent cast mates. Let's hope they respond. It'd be a shame to loose people at this early leg of the journey.
I actually speak Spanish, but only to some degree, past an present tense but no future tense. I've got an idea on how Portuguese and Italian words should sound, but I use a translator for those.

In other words, I'm home from vacation now, so I have all the time in the world to write. Expect a post from me today.

I dabble here and there as well.

Thanks, I always get worried when using the words as I can only find current translations so I have no idea if there were any significant language changes from the 17th Century to now. I think it will be fine as long as I just limit them to curses or greetings.

I have the same hesitancy.
Post is up

Very nice! Keep 'em coming, guys.
Since no one else addressed it, I will. Here's an edited version of your post, @Rare, with some questions and comments from me.

Slash= cut
Bold= something I edited
Italics= something questionable grammatically
Underline= I recommend rewriting this
{}= my notes

I'm afraid that this post doesn't meet the expectations of the first rule you set out for us. Above all else I think a GM ought to meet his/her own expectations of standards. It's not good enough just to have the idea, you need to fulfill on the idea, as well.
That part with the guard was so funny, @Eru Iluvatar.

"Oh yeah, sure I'll just continue on this trip to Morocco only to sit on the beach and probably catch syphilis."

He probably deserves it for stealing.

Really nice post, I like your use of actual Spanish and Portuguese words.

Ah yes, that woman, now I see.
