That's all I was concerned about, confusion. Because I know I'd get confused all the time and I don't want everyone else confused because of my confusion. In my mind, it'd not take away the ooc explanations, it'd just changed them from "where are they" to "where are they and was my response okay."

This is proof we need signers. Just overhauling it is too much constant work for us as rpers. Especially after two years of getting used to location based.
We could use greentext for it even. That would be a single extra character.

What are you talking about? The characters know exactly what's happening, and this offers a supplement to the current system and a better explanation as to why it's on RPG in the first place. Changing from a network system in the first place was less logical a jump.
But it happened. We can't just change back randomly and have it make sense. We also won't have every character a part of it and have no way of knowing who is and isn't. We need a qualifier.

No, the reason it makes sense is because it can operate the same way the Ifunny network did. They can still be there in person and their devices will record it, but they can also communicate without being there. The in-person always system is inferior from a technical standpoint and has more flaws.
But from a logical standpoint it makes more sense. We can't just suddenly change the whole system by which things happen. And then when characters aren't a part of it we have no way of knowing that. We need to separate it so we know.

But that's stupid because we've moved to an entirely in person style. Assuming everything is on the network when everything since we've come off ifunny has been in person would make no sense.
