The Order has called a conclave to decide what to do about a cult in the woods. After the conclave a group of cultists disguised as Templars attacked the camp causing chaos and leaving the army weakened for attack by the main army of Sar'than. The leadership of The Order was destroyed leaving Evelyn the only surviving Knight-Captain. Given a mission to bring word to the rest of the Order, Evelyn would bring as many knights as she could along with her and so far the group has escaped the battle to the nearest village of Sharwood. They are now getting supplies to leave soon for Thanermere Keep.

I only mentioned it briefly but enchantments are the equivalent to runes. When a weapon is enchanted it gains the attributes associated with the enchantment. A hammer with a fire enchant can cause an enemy to burst into flames upon being struck. Most enchantments are Elementalism based and so they have an active effect in battle. Other enchantments can be necromantic where after being slain with the weapon the weilder is healed slightly. Stuff of that nature but I'll let you get creative with it, just don't go overboard and make it OP as fawk.
