He only had a limited amount of bullets and the tide of skeletons was showing no sign of stopping. Donald stepped out and intercepted the arm of a skeleton before smashing its skull apart with the butt of his pistol. He really ought to have taken his bodyguards along.

Or a bigger gun.

"This talk of a talisman sounds as good as anything I could come up with. Let's have a go at it."

The old man aimed the pistol towards a further group of enemies and fired several spaced shots as he walked forwards.

"Stick together and watch eachothers backs."

• Skills: Haruka is skilled in Judo and as a result her body is very fit. She also has a exceptional memory and has little difficulty in working her way through life's everyday problems.
• Equipment: A modern smartphone with a smartwatch that has a braille interface that allows her to read whatever she runs her finger over on the phones screen. The phone is also connected to a Bluetooth earbud.
  She also has a white cane to aid in navigation.

  • Second Sight: Haruko sees through the eyes and to a limited degree can hear and feel the sensations felt by another person. With some effort she can also make small changes to what they sense for better or for worse. Maybe in time she will be able to use this ability on more than one target.
• Brief Backstory: In her first year of junior high school Haruko suffered injuries in a car accident that left her blind in both eyes. She missed a full year of school to recover and relearn how to live her life. The change in circumstance did little to change her attitude towards life, but presented new challenges to overcome.
  After returning to classes she became active in the schools Judo team, Judo being a sport that caters particularly well to the blind. She made friends most readily with those on the team and had few outside of it. In competition Haruko did well but had no desire to compete at any higher level. Haruko is a year behind in her classes, now in high school, and continues with the same hobbies.

She lowered Livius carefully to the floor before removing her helmet and facing down at Liliana.

"I am Salz, deposed princess of the Amarr kingdom come to follow in the footsteps of my lords youngest son and pledge myself to the service of the Iron Roses. I feel a great debt to the kingdom of Thaln for being a new home to my siblings."

The giantess thought that should easilly sum up who she was and why she was there. Salz then turned to Vizer, who seemed much more adept at dealing with other people.

"Is this a matter that requires the attention of the captain herself? Or is it that your master is the one that requires the captain?"

Multiverse Chronicles: A Crossover RP

The Field marshal rose and walked towards the indicated gates. The first was eliminated as a possibility right away as it was unlikely to have any black powder. The second, however, sounded like a much better idea. He wasn't entirely sure about anything to be honest but always believed that action was better than inaction. This decision was made on the move and he continued walking straight into this 'modern fantasy'.

She really needed to pick up groceries but that could wait. Almost at random she pointed to an italian resturaunt that looked like it might serve pizza. She still hadn't gotten over the craving from the night before.

The had to move fast so he lifted Hoshiko up onto his back and scaled the building. It would have been nice if he could have jumped that high but it just wasn't possible in his human form. On the roof he put the girl down and turned to survey the disturbance with his own eyes.

"Stay here."

He began to walk across the roof, in the instance between one step and the next he changed, seemingly instantly, into a massive wolfhound. A low, rumbling growl emanated from him that reverberated in the chest like the bass at a concert. He picked up the pace and leapt to the next building.

Things started to go badly before he could get much of a look at wherever he had ended up. This sudden, even steeper spiral was heralded by the arrival of a giant skeleton. Donald was starting to regret not taking at least Hsien with him. One of the smaller undead approached him and he pulled the pistol out of his coat pocket, backpedaling several steps.

After a moments consideration, he fired, beheading it in a spray of bone shards with a neat shot through the spine. The old man didn't think that a mere hole in the skull would stop them. Over his shoulder he spotted several people at the shrine and he calmly walked over and entered it, pistol pointed casually up towards the ceiling.

"I don't suppose anyone has more of an idea about where we are?"
