Meruin completed her next spell. It took awhile, but that was good. It's effects were weak at the beginning, but would quickly pile up. What exactly did her spell accomplish?

On twenty seven different spots on the area, the hazy form of Meruin appeared, chanting and chanting. Their voices rang through the air like a chorus of demented angels. Each of them drew into the air, barriers forming around them.

They absorbed the leftover energy in the air from everyone who cast as spell/energy attacked. Then, they get right at the center of of the absorbed energy which is the casters own magical signature, which they'll use to disguise themselves as a part of any spell the caster may use in the future, which leads to the breaking down part.

@The ghost in black Ah, actually, tha could work. The other guys swords are powerful, but so are Meruins, but if Eris is focused on specifically disrupting spells . . . yeah, that has a high chance of working.

@Zetsuko True, but control and precision are Meruin's forte as well. Notice how she isn't even tired firing one spell after another? That has something to do with that.

@Zetsuko Possible, but highly doubtful. At best, you'll be engaging in a long and tiring struggle with Meruin to get them completely under your control, which she will then dismiss, at worst, itthey will blow up on your face.
