About Me
I'm a roleplayer by night, but by day I'm a software engineer. I have been programming in some capacity since I was eight, and once I discovered programming I simply never stopped writing code. Some of that code I've written was for this very website, and maybe some day I'll add some more. However, most of my work is done in boring corporate land.
I discovered programming in a game called ROBLOX, and coincidentally that is also where I first discovered roleplaying. One day I was exploring the forums, and noticed a roleplaying section. Curious, I took a look and I was instantly hooked. The content was mostly in the Free RP level, with a small amount of Casual tier games, but at the time even that was high quality content to me. Over the years my interest in the game faded, and although I continued programming after ultimately leaving the community, I did not continue roleplaying.
Years later, I gradually started wanting to get back into roleplaying. I began googling around, and after looking at a few different websites I finally decided that the Guild seemed to be the best of them all. I made an account on December 13, 2014, and started jumping into some games; I quickly decided on sticking to mostly High Casual, but eventually moved more towards Advanced as I realized that most of the games I was in were easily at that level anyway. This was right around the time that Mahz was working on rebuilding the website from the ground up, and after chatting with him for a while in the IRC during some site downtime I decided that I wanted to help.
I ultimately didn't contribute too much, but nevertheless I was the first (and so far, only one of two?) non-anonymous users to help Mahz with developing the website. As a reward, after he implemented the trophy system I was awarded the special Benevolent Cyberpunk trophy, which gives me a special userbit that looks like this:
Generally (perhaps overly so), iOS is predominant in the US and Android is predominant in Europe. Not sure where people are but that could possibly be the root of the differences. Otherwise, it'd be a regional thing which would take far too much effort to worry about. Neighborhood A likes Android, B likes iOS, C are Blackberry hipsters, D are elderly people... etc.

But Android is far ahead in Europe as well, not just in Asia.
So it does seem that only in America will hordes of people line up for days to pay the iPhone premium.
@LegendBegins A large number of mobile users, specifically. Obviously the only platforms on which Safari exists are iOS and OS X. On OS X, the mass majority of people will use a third-party browser, leaving iOS, where most people won't care enough to get a third-party browser. Like it or not iOS will most likely be the predominant mobile platform, however I'm not convinced that the number of people using mobile on the guild is so significant that there will be much of a problem.

It could very well just be that Samsung's browser is a bit derpy in regards to scrolling individual forms, resulting in both my sig problem and the post problem. I'll try a third party browser and report back.
EDIT: The issue was in fact due to Samsung's browser. Firefox is allowing me to scroll as desired.
One problem with mobile that I've been noticing is that signatures are still scrollable, even though they don't have a scrollbar. This might be behavior specific to my device, but when I am scrolling through the page and happen to scroll on the sig it scrolls that instead. Is it possible to make the sig area enforce the px limit itself and never contain more than the 200px/whatever it is that is allowed?
ALSO: The post writing form needs to be able to scroll. It can be scrolled, but it is clunky and not easy to do. Could a scrollbar be added when necessary on small devices? I'm not sure it'll fix the issue but it wouldn't hurt.
There's too many out there who don't bother to click preview before posting. After all, who actually believe they themselves could possibly make a mistake?

To be fair, most people are going to use Ctrl+B/I/etc. to add the tags, (or the buttons) which will obviously never have that error. Besides, although it'd be nice for it to work regardless of the configuration, it really isn't necessary, nor is it too much to ask IMO for users to just fix their BBCode in such a case.
EDIT: added [noparse] so the quote would work.
Again, the double tap issue doesn't seem to be mobile-specific but device-specific. I personally disagree with avoiding doing things just because a specific device (so far you are the only one to have your problem IIRC), but I guess that isn't really my decision to make.
