Celestial realm: 
Ishalan is the right hand of his father, The Mouth of Hell. The reality of his role in the celestial realms is akin to a favored attack dog. As such Ishalan speaks little and acts in accordance with his Father’s will. As much as it pains Ishalan he has been on the unfortunate side of having to help the gods stop rebellions in the past and has earned a less than stellar reputation with the other Demigods who know of his involvement.

Ishalan largely serves in his father's domain of the celestial realms acting as an enforcer and an enactor of his will. The other God’s view Ishalan as the “perfect son” someone who acts on his father’s will and rarely questions. With the rebellion of Leviathan and Behemoths eleven other children Ishala took his father and uncles’ side in the battle with Ishalan’s siblings and it appeared to make the difference. As a result few trust Ishala; even the Gods took it not as a sign of his loyalty to them but as a sign of his loyalty to himself. 

Earth: 
To the mortals of earth Ishalan is the Monster that lurks beneath the waves of the ocean. He is the thing that reaches out from the deep trenches of the Ocean and wrenches ships down into the crushing depths when they least expect it. Ishalan is also seen as a protector of the stranded and sea life. The mariners of North America, the fishermen of Africa, the people of the south china sea all know of Ishalan in one form or another. 
Ishalan’s most famous appearance in mythology is that of the Kraken. A massive being that drags ships to their doom beneath the waves of the ocean. Mariners have told tales of Ishalan’s appearance throughout the ages and it is simply one of his many forms. When he walks on land Ishalan brings the pressure of the depths and heavy rains with him. His coming into villages along the coasts of Africa all the way up to Norway was considered an ill omen. 

Achievements/Mistakes: Ishalan is arguably responsible for the failure of one of the most recent uprisings of demigods. If he had sided with his siblings it is possible that they might have been able to overthrow Leviathan and Behemoth. 

Attitude: Ishalan is a relatively normal person outside of his dreams and the celestial world. Much of Ishalan’s life beyond inflicting pain on those his father decides to harm is spent living in a series of apartments along the east coast of North America. While Ishalan’s has little ill will towards the humans of the mortal realm he sees them as sheep; with a few notable exceptions.

Treatment: It is very rare for Ishalan to be welcomed in any of his forms other than his human form as it is usually for the purpose of destroying some unaware ship that he has been forced to drag into the depths of the ocean. In the celestial realm his is trusted by very few if any after siding with his father and uncle against his siblings but it has lead to him being near indispensable to his father who makes excessive use of Ishalan for all of his whims.

Abilities:

Pressure: Standing in the same room as Ishalan is incredibly uncomfortable as the air always feels thin and cold as though it is pressing in on you. This is a mild version of many of Ishalan’s other powers

Crushing Depths: Ishalan is capable of creating incredible amounts of dark cold water in seconds to fill rooms in a matter of seconds. The water puts incredible pressure on those within it, smashing them to a pulp in seconds.

Drown: Ishalan can drown his enemies even on dry land causing dark ocean water to fill their lungs and asphyxiate them no matter how hard they cough.

Rogue Wave: Ishalan can call up a tower wall of unforgiving water to smash his foes to bits be it on land or on sea.

Monster of the Depths: With the deaths of his siblings Ishalan inherited the forms of all his siblings. Ishalan can take on the form of any sea monster known or unknown to man. While these forms are potent and dangerous in the mortal realm, and even more potent in the celestial realm. In Ishalan’s dreams the monsters are undeniable and neigh unstoppable. 

The Kraken: Ishalan was born as the Kraken it is by far his most powerful and lethal form in any of the realms. Capable of smashing armadas and tearing down buildings the Kraken is one of the most feared of all of Ishalan’s forms and for good reason. 

Call of the depths: Ishalan can call up any of the oceans horrors to assail his enemies be it other monsters of the deep or simply some of the oceans more bizarre fauna.

Official relationships: The right hand of The Leviathan. Ishalan is a glorified hunting dog for his father.
