Inspiration is good but not when I feel more inclined to make a pirate RP featuring anthromorphs (or furries, for those of you less inclined to long words)

Gods, it's tough for me to think outside the box. Why does the box hate me so?

Thoughts, screen. Why does one never translate well onto the other?

The whole Guild has a Discord server anyway. It's on the topbar.

Depends primarily on how that works. I may need some examples, since having 2018 tech in 1750 would probably be a bit... Well dangerous. Depending on how this ends up evolving.

It means literally the ability to think really fast and perceive (but not act) within bullet time for short periods. Yes, it can be used to invent gadgets but that's still limited to the tech available in the time.

EDIT: In essence, I would write it as the character stopping time to have a think about it, giving half a paragraph of internal monologue of the analysis and prediction of their situation and then acting upon the sudden wealth of information that they have back in realtime.
I could have a good ol' crack at it. I could probably even use the powerset of an old character I'd like to recycle: HIGH-POWER THINKING.
Speaking of worldbuild, are you OK with this middleground @Apollosarcher hit on for us on Magvel/Grado/Renais?

@PaulHaynek Sorry, I meant to mention you before and in the site struggles the Edit key was *not* working for me.
Good morning, aftenoon or evening to all you ladies, gentlemen and others.

So, anyone here like PMD? Guess I'm about to find out. I've been milling around a concept, original guild and plot hooks/things to do for a PMD roleplay, a repurposing of the fanfic that I'm really good at procrastinating on since writing alone gets dull.

Like you may expect from a PMD RP, it concerns you, new recruits into the Explorers' Guild at Dawnbreak Lake. Of course, there's plenty of rescuing to be done, outlaws to capture and a plot that threatens the entire world to uncover. Oh, and maybe you could even live up to your namesake and explore? There's the Big Bad Desert (think the Wild West), maybe you can take on the bandits of the Jade Forest? Perhaps even, you might go to the Frostbitten Peaks (where there's real, scary Greninja clans and some say, a hidden mystical village...)

I'm happy to run for 3-8 players, if there's more than 5 then you'll be across 2 Exploration teams.

So, how does anyone feel about Mystery Dungeon?

[...]we have the war has occurred but maybe years ago? With monsters and bandits from the weakened countries all around, Grado now being the weakest military nation with the largest land mass to cover, Renais has been protecting it as best it can and keeping it ruled by another line of nobles distantly related? All the nations are weak and sort of governing together now through a council but with Renais being the strongest of political power and Rausten being the strongest military?
Aw shiet. Needless to say I went for something else entirely with the same place of Magvel. Eghh... I'll post what I did for now and see if we can't reconcile something? I'm sure something like this could like... I dunno, I'm sure we can do something @Apollosarcher.

@PaulHaynek: Sorry to keep bothering with questions. I just started writing Elena out, I have a story for her and everything but I kinda thought... What's the kind of timescale we're working with here? I'm hoping to use the war from The Sacred Stones and the earthquake that nearly destroyed Grado afterwards as part of her backstory, but Magvell is referred to as a single entity and it's not noted exactly when the business with Gaia went down, so I'm not sure if it's even possible for TSS' events to have occurred within someone's lifetime here if the war against Gaia was recent.

EDIT: Also, Hoshido and Nohr are notable by their absence from the Concilium. I've got my eye on that... xD
I also want to for a quick note ask how stringent you're being on classes/weapons when balance isn't such a concern? For what it's worth, I'm planning to make my dude an archer and I find it odd that if balance isn't a concern he wouldn't be able to keep a dagger in case anyone got too close (obviously he's not very proficient in its use, which will be borne out in narrative)
I got an eyeball on it, for sure.
