Just a random guy, doing random things. Main RP: Hell's Coffee Lounge Current RPs change often enough that it's too much effort keeping a list of them updated.

People are en-masse joining the machine because Eos is the most reasonable leader, and the Machina has good spokespeople. Maybe have the leaders of the other factions realize that they're losing soldiers to the Machina and have some sort of 'recruitment campaign'?
@TheWindel
Wouldn't make sense for him to go to either at this point, though, considering IC events. Heaven is the faction he detests the most, both due to natural inclinations as a demon and because Deva is the most arrogant of the leaders. And he's already a traitor to Hell, although probably from before Lucille was in charge.

While I agree with you that there are a lot of Machina characters, I don't see much of an IC reason for him to turn to either of those factions, really.
@BCTheEntity
That might be fun, yeah. Although, Khaine isn't the most talkative fellow.
I'm not entirely certain what to do with Khaine, considering he missed a whole bunch of the talks, so I'm thinking of having him show up at Bonesword or Endian's places, considering he needed to join one of the factions and the Machina are the only ones really offering. Assuming there are no objections?
@Old Amsterdam
I'm 'active' again, just reading through what I missed and considering what to do. I was tempted to jump in on your last post, as this seems like just the kind of situation Guilt would jump into. But if you've got plans I'd hate to disrupt them.

It was a good thing this guy used ice. Something like metal control might have been hard to spot, but the coldness of ice made it easy to see in the infrared spectrum. As such, Alex wasn't caught off guard when the ground began to freeze beneath his feet. A dangerous power, ice control, and hard to avoid. However, the Hands of Fate were more than a match. Reaching down Alex simply removed the frozen ground around him before the ice could affect him. Using his left hand of 'destruction', he could remove any obstacle in his path. When a series of icy shards were launched into the fog at random he was able to see them coming, and slapped them out of the air with his left hand. As each of them came into contact with his hand he simply drew them into his pocket dimension, absorbing every attack even as it occurred. An attack like that, with little to no aim, had no chance of taking him out.

Of course, that's when the pillar appeared. Gathering and freezing the moisture in the air, it seems the swordsman had created something rather large. So if Alex himself couldn't be seen, they'd just attack the entire area? Not a bad strategy, but was it really a good idea to spend so much energy when you don't know what your opponent's ability is? It seemed they were still underestimating him. With his left hand of Destruction Alex reached out, and carved a hole through the middle of the pillar. All it took was a touch.

The berserker's bloodcurling scream echoed across the area from outside. If nothing else, it was probably that lady's crazy scary shouting that had prevented anyone else from interfering with this match. It wasn't a voice that encouraged interference. However, neither of the Knights had realised the true nature of Alex's power, the power to Give and Take. Because this power could turn the opponent's abilities against themselves, the tools of the enemy were just another aspect of the environment. This power, second only to his brothers', would end this battle right now.

With his left hand, Alex cracked the pillar that surrounded him. Not enough to cause it to collapse, and yet the fissures formed a very specific pattern. Leaning his right hand against one of the cracks, Alex unleashed wind. Every crack was filled with compressed air, pushing outwards and shattering the pillar as a whole. A ball of air rapidly expanded outwards, and with a crack like thunder the entire pillar shattered. Hundreds of razor-sharp shards of ice exploded out, raining across the surrounding landscape. Alex had carefully crafted the ice into blades, which now scoured the surrounding landscape. Anything that stood near the explosion would have been ripped to bloody shreds, and even the swordsman wasn't safe from this attack.

Of course, Alex didn't expect something like that to be enough. But it was enough to cover him, for a moment.

Dashing forward Alex emerged from the cloud of gas, both hands at the ready as the large icy splinters he had previously absorbed now launched themselves towards the swordsman Knight at high speeds. A blast of air from the 'hand of Creation' launched him forwards at high speeds, allowing him to accelerate far faster than a normal person. It was a trick he'd used many times before. Closing the distance he stretched out the Left Hand of Destruction. With a single touch he could annihilate this opponent, as well as this hand blocking nearly any incoming attack. The ultimate shield and the ultimate spear. And the Berserker, who was most likely still intent on killing him, would follow him soon enough. The cold ice he absorbed from this guy would be excellent for fighting that hothead.

Beneath his mask, Alex was smiling. Fighting two Knights at once? This was going to be FUN.
After all that bitching I did, it seems I ended up being the one to vanish.

A combination of a week-long holiday I forgot to mention on the site and being told I needed to redo my written and oral maths exam caused me to forget about this website completely. As such I would like to sincerely apologise for disappearing, and for any wait I may have caused in doing so.

Assuming that I am not kicked out for this, I'll see if I can get a post up soon.
I believe I am at least partially responsible for this, and as such apologise for my part. After setting up so many of my pawns as integral parts of the story I up and vanished for over a week, due to a combination of an unannounced holiday and being told I would have to retake my oral and written maths exam.

If anyone is actually willing to continue this I would be more than happy to participate, although I am uncertain whether or not the rp can be saved at this point.
I would like to sincerely apologize for once more vanishing. A week-long holiday I forgot to mention combined with being told I needed to redo my maths oral and written exams caused me to forget this site even existed for a while. My apologies for any delay or bother I may have caused to people here with my unexpected disappearance.

And this time, I can't even blame good anime >.>

While I would like to stick around, as I rather like this rp, I understand if this kicks me out. After all, this is not the first time I've managed to vanish like this, and I am not a sufficiently orderly person to be able to claim this is the last. At the very least my exams being done with should make such incidents less likely.

As it bears repeating, I am truly sorry for disappearing like that.
My apologies for downright vanishing. I seem to be doing that a lot lately, unfortunately. Between a week-long holiday I forgot to mention on this site and being informed I'll have to re-do my maths oral and written exam I honestly forgot this website existed. While I could not post I should at least have told people I would be absent, so... my apologies.

Now I feel stupid for writing 'my apologies' a whole bunch, but 'sorry' feels kinda stupid too.

In any case, I do hope this doesn't get me kicked out, but I can understand if it does. After all it's not my first time vanishing, and I'm not so orderly a person that I can promise not to do it again. Although with my exams finally over and done with, hopefully I can at least promise that it'll be less likely to occur.
@Lucius Cypher
Tricking other players is fine, but the GMs should always be able to tell the difference, because they're the ones who decide whether it's allowed or not.
