I'll get a character proposal to you on Tuesday 

Heads up- in addition to my normal work schedule, I have my son this weekend,  so it will likely be Tuesday when I next post. 

The items mentioned are the relevant ones, the only extra items are a couple extra hangers, and a box of mothballs. 

Nice bit of levity at the end,  there XD 

I forgot to mention it, but the money was there as well.

The time since you arrived is 07:15PM 

The office interior wasn't much. A desk, a file cabinet,  and a wide, tall locker. 

The letter (marked as "Handout") is available to read in the drive folder,  if you haven't already. 

Either the wild(extra) die or the trait die, yes. Even though you aced both, it is easier to just pick one when that happens. I don't remember,  at this moment,  if it matters which you pick; the Wild Die is primarily exclusive to player characters. I often explain it as "Roll with Advantage... Anytime you Roll, that's when!"

That's a 5 to Notice, and a 6 to Research.@ctrlsaltdel

Oh wow, that research roll! Critical success! When you roll the highest number on a die (Ace!), you get to roll that die again, and again until you stop Acing. Every 4 above the target number is a "Raise". Succeeding with a Raise imparts further benefits (such as dealing extra damage on a combat roll).

Allyn made it down the path without any trouble. Just as soon as he was completely surrounded by the darkness, his eyes were able to adjust (the pinpoints of moonlight shining through the branches helped).

It took him about ten minutes before he saw the light at the end of the trail- the clearing! As he got closer, he could see a brick and mortar wall, and a wrought iron gate, that stood wide open...

Once in the clearing, it was plain to see that the brick went on in either direction. The trees clustered too close to see where the actual corners were, but the were presumably just beneath the rather large stone gargoyles, perched on the wall! They were fairly typical, not especially grotesque or gruesome, but there was a pronounced... Severity to them, visible even from a distance. Something about them...

Wait a minute... Gargoyles are supposed to ward off bad spirits... So why are they facing INSIDE the walls?
