Why do you say that my friend? What about Viruses now?
No, that's been happening occasionally on the guild every once in a while.
Is that the ... wait, nope, thought that was the actor for the Red Ranger in Lightspeed Rescue.

While I don't have much experience with tabletop RPGs , I tend to generally enjoy Digimon RPGs. I do have some questions though neither are deal breakers/makers. Are fan made Digimon allowed or canon only? And what about Digivolution lines, is it possible to make up a line as long the the choices make sense (for example Leafmon - Tanemon - Mushroomon - RedVegiemon - Blossomon - Rosemon) ? And in case the answer to both is yes could you have line of fan made and canon Digimon?

Well that's good, I'm in a similar boat. Okay, both essentially have the same root answer. Due to the way the corebook is written, or rather, the way I had to write it to ever have a chance of being done, there is no index of Digimon, but wikimon.net is considered the resource well for rather important things. That being the case, you can have fan made Digimon, as long as they make sense and have a way to properly link them to Digimon Families(also called fields). The second one is a bit more tricky to give a yes or no. You see, you don't technically pick an entire Digivolution line. Instead, you pick a Baby form and a Family. Digimon in one Family can Digivolve into any Digimon from the same family with whom they share a reasonable enough connection as long as, say, the Digimon's not mistreated or something. You basically get to raise the Digimon yourself, while being able to hedge your options and play it out as best you can. Digimon Digivolve when they level up.

If this happens I would love it! Digimon fan all the way back when I was beautiful (3 years old)

Awesome!

I already know someone else is up to play, so now we need at least two more people. I'd like to start with five.
If anyone else has any questions, feel free to ask.
Completely understandable. Uni can be hard.

Meat is back, meat is back, tell a friend.

... Did I won?
Was it? I see. I hadn't been doing much on the site then. Ah, fair enough.

That's fine/ We're not starting soon by any means. I still need to finish a few major sections. If you happen to have time, you're always welcome- unless we're well on the way.
So... f'anyone's got free time and doesn't have many RP's, (which I doubt, being is most of you are school types about now, or jobbers) I just put up an Interest Check for that Digimon Tabletop I mentioned a while back. It's not technically done yet, but it's close.

Also just figured on saying anything since it was five days since anyone said anything.
And does anyone feel like posting? Ob and Vo are working on a colab, yes? Does anyone happen to be independent to post now?
And what better way to test a Table top RPG than by running a campaign right here, am I right?
Yup, I decided to make a Digimon Tabletop RPG Rulebook utilizing primarily d6's (standard cube shaped six sided die for those who aren't down with the jargons). Since I have to make pretty much all of it myself, It's not quite done or ready to play, but enough is there that I think by the time I start the OOC, I should have enough to create characters and know what they can do. I probably won't have a full list of items out by the time we'd be starting, but I do have a way where no one would be left in the dust for calculating their armor or weapon values.
Other than it working on what is basically a point-buy system, I don't have much else to say that showing you the document wouldn't do better, which will come in due time. I do have an idea for plot elements, however, I prefer Digimon RP's to have more player input than one might expect from some other, more strict story lines, and this is no different. Besides, I don't want to limit player choices, so I'm not one to try and plot-railroad my party in uncomfortable ways, but I do appreciate a bit of cooperation.
That being said, I'm relatively new to Tabletop GM'ing, and this is very experimental, but that's basically what I'm looking for- people willing to experiment, have fun, and ride with the story until the end.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to ask! I don't think it will be that complex, but all the basics of the core rulebook should be there by the time we start, or rather, I'll have to finish them before we start so no players are left in the dark. And, while I don't have any ideas for like, expansion books or modules/pre-made adventures, there is room for them in the future. The group that forms will be essentially alpha testers, and help me work out problems so the game can be more fun for future players.
