Okay, I'll ask one thing first- what's with the constant changing of the other Digimon you're using? First you're saying Gazimon, then you're going with the Meramon group. then randomly Lobomon and co. It's just a bit boggling.
I understand a bit of indecisiveness- I have trouble picking a good Champion for Ryudamon because Ginryumon's not my fave to go to Alphamon persay.
But on similar lines- there are a lot, and I mean a LOT, of possibilities. Surely you can find a way to link the Digimon you want to use. Just look at the ones I used. They make sense, but neither Black War Greymon nor Gaiomon technically Digivolve into Alphamon, but coming from Ryudamon, who's similar to Dorumon, it makes sense. See where I'm coming from? I'm not against helping a player out, but it's not really like it's got a system involved, because I have run RP's with systems, i.e. the tabletop section. It's just getting to the point of being a bit too hand-holdy, and I don't want one player to detract from attention to all the other players.

I might as well straight up say it- when I look at CS's, I look for ideas- ways things can play out, interesting little quirks... and, I dunno, I guess I'm not seeing the pan-out?
Comes down to the personality section of the Digimon too. Beyond all the structural, admittedly nit-picky parts about the CS, about half the forms don't have personalities, and the ones that do, well... okay, nothing wrong with playing a Digimon straight out of the box, like the way they'd be expected. I do it sometimes, but I can't think of the instances- actually, I did so with Craniamon in a Digimon RP a while ago, or would have done so, but that was because I thought having a perfectionist who cherishes his "mission complete ratio" would be fun to play in a ruined Digital World where the premise was the Knights had just been mangled, and I also had him not care for his partner completely in a setting where his use of power would put the human at risk. I also had the human character be a younger child who is inexperienced and living in the shadow of his father, and rightly so at his young age, but he had other features beyond just that.
See what I mean? I sorta don't see the depth. I know I didn't do the best job of giving depth to my own Digimon, but I have a specific plan for her where the character development would apply, hence the constant reference to Ryudamon's personality in the later stages, and I have a little unique thing for each stage.
Also, not sure how serious this is, but I don't think you've ever put a control method in. I feel like it's important, but it might be a nit-pick. And I know this is a nit pick, but leaving the direction sections in a CS when you're done with it, and not following all the directions that were there, especially when they're related to removing the parenthesed section, well, it's a bit of a pet-peeve of mine. Minor, not major.

EDIT: I'm just looking for a little progress towards something that's not expected as far as character behavior goes. If some reason to explain something can be made, I'd be glad to hear it and, if necessary, let it be used.
That's not the main reason, it's just a minor factor. That one's sorta like a tree where all the variance is near the very top.
It was mainly the lack of improvement and the constant reposting of the CS which could have just been edited.
I understand. It is about raising a lot of the time. But it sorta seems fudged, plus Beowolfmon is a Mega, not an Ultimate. Anyway, he was already on thin ice and it was just part of strike three with the lack of improvement.

Yes. Actually, Gabumon's a reptile.

Indeed. But that's a mutable Holy Champion into a Demon type.

True.

See number 1. But I'm not complaining. If anything, it's sorta stale that he went straight from Strabimon to MagnaGarurumon and didn't do anything creative with the middle or the Techniques.
Link to the OOC's in the first post now btw.
Interest Check
It's late November, 2004, in Nerima, Tokyo, and something strange is about to happen. To the sounds of chimes new and old, several youths are whisked away into another world. They are the Digidestined, their task, gather and form the Royal Knights of Legend and cement their prophecy into reality!

Intrigue! A mysterious figure monitors their progress from the shadows! Is this watcher friend or foe? How does he/she know of the fledgling Chosen Children? And what does this mean for the newly hatched Digimon?
Okay, this is going to be a semi-realistic, somewhat serious Digimon RP, in which 10-13 human characters, played by as many players as we get, (Six or so?) do the above- form the Royal Knights. Now, there are currently all 13 cannon Knights revealed. Does that mean you're stuck with them? No. I'm allowing custom/non-cannon Knight like Digimon who are either already Holy Knight type, close enough to it, or a Warrior/Godman type. You can also design your own, just let me know about your choices and clear them with me first.

Okay, so a few rules.

Now, on to RP content.
There are a few things I'd like to tell you. Namely:

Aaaand I can't think of anything else. Oh-

Setting: I specifically picked 2004, because I figure it can be as 90's as we need it to be without having to be like "oh yeah, that didn't exist then". So, older style cellphones being popular, but no uber-widespread wireless internet is fine. Actually, that's what I expect. The more 90'sness the better. Its' a work of fiction so we can tweak it.

Character Sheets

Characters:

Nekane and Ryudamon

Valdi Mori and V-mon

Karn Hitoshi and Light Liollmon

Any questions? Just ask. I'll answer as soon as I can. I don't usually anger easily either.

Actually, Tob, in all fairness, that line's more logical than some canon digimon lines. Patamon to Angemon anyone? And yeah, didn't want to snag Imperialdramon in case someone wanted that guy. I guess I'll finish in the OOC.

True,(although both are Holy I guess?) but leaps like that are more... interesting and forgivable early on, where as later it's like... Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon, Rosemon. Ya see?
Ah. Like Dragon Mode? Well, Paladin Mode won't be appearing as a Knight really, so I'd be fine with either. It'd be nice to get the bad-taste out of my mouth with a non-intrusive Ancient Greymon. You know what I mean.
If you wish, but I'll be either linking or compiling them in the first post of the OOC anyway.

That Renamon reminds me of that rabbit in Summer Wars lol

Haven't seen Summer Wars, but I've seen the rabbit. I can see how you think that?

About to run out the door for an interview, putting up a very basic outline as Tob talked me into staying.

Danke Schon. Interesting choice with Ancient Greymon.

Should I put up my CS? I already sent you a character concept, Tobiax. Is there anything I need to change?

Yes please. It was good. The dynamic is interesting for sure. Or what the dynamic could be.
22xander said Damn, Is their any way I could use a digimon that has less then all the Digivelutions? There are some awesome ones out their that dont have enough.

You're doing that to yourself you know.
Also, I'd appreciate no more post spamming/continued reposting of your CS. It's confusing, clutter-some, and mildly irritating.
I don't see the logic of a Digimon going from being decidedly Lupine to humanoid fist fighter. Plus with the lack of descriptions... failing to put in an acceptable attribute... sorry, I don't think my GM'ing style and your RP preferences are compatible at this time. I'm going to work on the OOC now, and I'd appreciate no rapid-post clutter.

Also, didn't mention this because I forgot, but I'd prefer that Attribute only be listed as Vaccine, Data, or Virus. I'm not entirely sure what Free entails, Variable's almost a cop-out answer, and None doesn't feel right. I get that they are supposed to be too small to have complex structure, but I'd appreciate a bit of decisiveness from my players that Bandai didn't have, kay?
Another thing I forgot is that most back-story of Digimon should be confined to a few moments after hatching due to the nature of the RP. I apologize for not saying that outright, but most seem to have it within those moment-of-origin type events.
Show, don't tell.
*Chuckle* Well, don't expect anything quick of a Casual RP. Especially one of mine. Although I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "fast".
I don't mind giving help, but I already told you. Effort, creativity, variety. One last shot.

I'm sorry, I'm just stressed about school starting tomorrow. English is my first language but I sometimes have trouble with words because English is hard :P. I have a super high reading level and my teachers stress that I'm a poet and great at phrasing things, but I have problems mainly with spelling but sometimes grammar. I grew up in a world with text talk, l33t speak, and auto-correct. I've had trouble all my life and my learning might have been stunted a bit by my time in a school devoted to special need students that may have had lower standards then the normal. In any case I will try my best to wright coherent posts, as long as you don't expect me to do them more then once or twice a day because I cant do more then once or twice on my computer. I post from my phone, but if you want my best I'll only have a couple opportunity. especially now that I'm going to be back in school.

Sorry, but your track record of playing in the Free section, apparently primarily, seems to cast a shadow on that. I mean, it's not like I'm 80 or something, not even close to 30, but that feels sorta weak sauce. I've seen little to indicate that, and if "reading level" were any factor, you would not have made so many errors that were unintelligible spelling breaks.
My former statement stands. I await actual progress. Actions do speak louder than words after all.
Haha, just flip a die or roll a coin.
