She had been pined under the wreckage of the ship for too long. Her breath wouldn't stay regular. She was about to enter a panic. She could no longer tell what she was projecting and what was locked in her mind due to her loss of blood. Through the opening, she saw Elfangor, and a group of what must have been the humans of this planet. They gathered around him... something was wrong... he was injured. She could not hear what he said- he must have forgotten that he had rescued her from her own doomed ship- only the strange sounds of human voices, outside her oxygen starved mind's range.
A few moments later, she saw some enter. A human. She thought of a thousand things at once. Should she stay hidden? No. The only way out was to morph. To call the human over to morph. The thought almost disgusted her. She could almost see it happening. The human approached... she had a chance. No, she couldn't. It was beneath her. She could not do this now. She was a Warrior, and would find a Warrior's way to escape. She thought the human would pass by, but then she mentioned Elfangor... and wanting to take the Escafil Device. The human reached towards it. A thousand thoughts of stopping the teen raced through her head, but she could not. She thought of what she could say, called out, asked, implored... to no avail. Even if she were to stand before he human, shorm poised above her shoulder, it would not make a difference. Naliele could not harm a child of the planet she had come to protect, even if it meant relinquishing the Escafil Device. She called out to Prince Elfangor, urged him to reconsider, her mind unknowingly following the other path she could have taken, the images being sent to the human's mind.

As she closed her eyes, nearly content to accept her fate, a rather loud, fluttering sound came to her, drifting into the ear that her head was not crushing against the floor of the ship. A single stalk shifted out of the way, as her right eye slowly opened.

Before her, a dark, hunched bird hopped and skittered into her view. Wings spread, beard like feathers showing as it let out a croak like call, its half-feathered beak snapping shut near her, as its sweeping head bobbed. Its long wings and tail were tucked up under its body, and even as Naliele's hoof clipped the Shredder beside her yet again, her hand slowly slid out of the metal sheet's shadow. Her hand slowly raised, all available eyes locked on the bird. The animal hopped forth, wings fluttering beside, showing off long primary feathers, and grabbed one of her many nimble fingers in its beak. Fighting back her urge to shrink from the pain, she gripped the bird tightly, until slowly its beak relaxed. Still in its trance, her hand slipped back under the rubble, for a moment held against her chest as orange blood leaked out, and the bird was none the wiser. The Andalite's eyes closed as she focused on the creature before her. Slowly, she began to shrink. Her tail began to shorten, vertebra by vertebra, her tail blade vanishing like melting wax. One by one, her fingers melded together, until her hand was nothing more than a point on her arm. Her lower body withered away, her front legs following suit. Hooves split into two, then three, then four, black feathers sprouting as her fur faded away, revealing black, bumpy skin, and sharp talons. Feathers appeared over her nose slits as her head changed- eyestalks long gone and ears having been sucked into her skull, leaving only small holes. Her eyes became like small black coals, and her arms grew larger as her torso shrank. In a matter of moments, the original having flown away then the scent of fresh blood left, an exact replica of the bird stood, hunched where the Andalite once had been. Without a second thought Naliele took flight in her new body, only a short distance, before hopping back into the ship's wreckage, retrieving a Shredder and a small device with a coiled antenna and a few buttons, dials, and loose wires. Moments after collecting the items, she was morphing once again, regaining her Andalite form, her gaze fixed on the place at her flank where not long ago she had been impaled, now completely restored. She rushed to her Prince, her hand soon meeting a group of others, holding Elfangor up so he should not fall, while attempting to wrench the glowing device away. However, it was of no use, and soon, a sorrow took her heart as her Prince's words rebounded inside her mind.

She had acted foolishly. Her words were hollow- a false display of warrior's bravado- completely unfounded in reality. The thought made her shiver now. To be on the same planet as that... that thing was far more than she could bear, and then... Then, he killed Elfangor. Her Prince did not even fight back. He died to allow them to escape.

It was dark, and she wanted to be alone. Her hands shook as she clutched the small devices, one almost drawing blood with its ragged edges. One of the humans, a tall one, began to lead her somewhere. At first, she protested, but, eventually allowed it, simply because attempting to repair her Zero Space transponder in the nearby woods simply would not do.
She regretted agreeing almost immediately. The entrance was... rectangular, and approaching up the intermittent inclined lateral structures was troublesome to transverse with her hooves. Despite the enclosed space with many strange objects, the human seemed comfortable there. However, the questions were unceasing, and the remarks strange indeed. Naliele made herself content in a corner, attempting to repair the Z-Space Transponder. She worked through the night, until her hands and eyes were tired. She was not a scientist, but she was sure that, at that point, she was doing more harm than good. The Andalite took little interest in the objects of the human's home, staying for the most part quiet until others started to arrive.

The ire in Naliele's gaze surely burned hot enough to melt the darkest reaches of Titan as it locked upon Clay. Her shoulders bunches like a cat's haunches, and the hair that flowed from her head to her upper back rose on end.

<It is one thing to use the technology of my people... even if it was given to you by Prince Elfangor... It is another thing entirely to parade around with the Escafil Device stuffed inside your grubby human bag,> the Andalite snapped.

Her breath was heavy, puffing from her nose slits with aggravated force. Suddenly, her breath caught in her throat. Her stalk eyes darted about the room, while her larger eyes scanned the group before her. It suddenly seemed far too cramped in that particular room, but she knew leaving at this time would not be an option, if she did not want to be seen.

<We will need to find a way for myself to travel from one location to another where remaining hidden is no longer an option,> Naliele added, her sounding rather frayed.

Her chest rose and fell rather drastically, her hearts beating with notable rapidity. Her vision started to blur, and she grasped the nearest piece of furniture with her nimble fingers, slumping forward slightly, her tail blade nearly hitting the ground.
