Craft: Ish is what people could call a 'sorcerer', a Craft user whose abilities are drawn, for the most part, from his own life force. Unlike reality bending wizards and know-it-all witches, the only way to do some heavy magic nonsense is through pain, or sacrifice, or anguish, or... look, it's some bullshit Bullshit, you feel me?
• Two for the Price of One - Ish’s main claim to fame and the Craft he Awakened with is the capability to duplicate himself, materializing a whole second Ish out of thin air. It isn't a clone; his mind occupies both bodies at once, and he can dissipate either one, including the “original” body, so for all intents and purposes there are two Ish Vendrons and both of them are him. Logically this means that any sensory input one body receives, so does the other, so things like sight, sound, feeling, etc are doubled. It took a lot of training to get used to it, though it still comes with all the drawbacks that entails.
Don't ask the obvious question, please.
Ish can pop his Double anywhere in space he so desires with no true limit besides common sense (putting a second You in a room you aren't sure doesn't contain a pack of hungry attack dogs, or two miles away where it may just materialize inside a brick wall, are not very good ideas) and subsequently un-pop either body from existence so long as both exist. He can't make more than two, he's tried. Whatever Ish is wearing or holding also becomes what a newly-formed Double wears and holds, so yes, he is a walking copy machine as well. This doesn't affect anything larger than himself or living stuff, for obvious reasons.
• Feel the Burn - some of the Craftwork that Ish has cultivated over the years allows him to tap into his body to summon fire. Be it flames, sparks, pure heat, anything of that nature, he can manifest it from his very own skin. Now, would that he'd like to be able to cast fireballs whenever he feels like, his personal brand of fire needs something to catch first, and the easiest thing he can set alight is, well, himself. Kinda.
Specifically it burns off of emotions, feelings, intangible quackspeak like that. It just so happens that the fastest feeling you can bring out in varying intensities is pain - anger and fear can also work but are much more finnicky fuels, either too volatile to control or too quick to burn.
Apart from all the uses having fire at your fingertips can have, there's a few key techniques Ish has managed to almost literally carve out...
• Hazy Kevlar
Ish boils the air around him, creating a heat curtain that fizzles any small objects that fly through, mostly fired rounds and the like. This 'aura' can be condensed around his body to immolate most types of gunfire or spread out over a larger area at the cost of efficacy.
• Suppressing Fire
Guns, right, y'know how they sorta, explode a little bit to shoot? Ish learned to reach out and give that muzzle flash a bit of an extra kick, throwing off the aim and sight of the wielder.
• Burning Man
A fancier way to put "I set myself on fire and run at them really fast while screaming". Works surprisingly often. If he can get a few slugs in, even better.
Vessels Carried: Ish prefers travelling light, so he doesn't have much to get in the way of doing what he needs to, and what he does have is more to help his existing toolset rather than add onto it. He's kinda prideful like that.
• Leyline Tattoos - a collection of thick gray lines that twist, curve, and trace along his arms, across his back, and over a portion of his chest. Technically the ink used to make them is the Vessel, once belonging to a Witch tattoo artist who gave up the game to live on a commune or whatever. Ish doesn't know the origin, he just pulled a couple strings among Reactor's rank-and-file to get it put on him. They help in directing the flow of energies in his body, letting him shape and focus his flames in a more controlled manner.
• Clay Bangle - a, uh, clay bangle that was owned by a real creep, kidnapping random civilians for made-up rituals that usually ended in their death. The bangle doesn't have anything to do with that, thankfully, but it is imbued with said creep's emotion-dulling Craft. A quick safety net for if Ish finds himself catching flames on some emotion that he can't contain on his own, though helping keep his pulse down in missions is quite a benefit too.
• Pill Box - Ish's own Vessel, a tiny plastic tube with a twist cap, letting anyone holding it get the shared senses of his Double. He hasn't given out for two reasons; one, that actually would suck a lot for the person, and two, the ACTUAL Vessel is one of his teeth kept inside and having to explain why he's carried it around so much would be weird.
Appearance: A plain picture or description is fine, a combination of both is perfect. No anime pls!
Bio: Ish is one goddamn selfish sonuvabitch. This isn't a particularly rare trait among mercs like him, but he goes the extra mile in making sure people know it.
History: A brief overview of your character's past, from pre-Reactor, time in Reactor, and then how she got to the bar. Give detail, but don’t give too much, as you'll share this in the story.
Weaponry (including Channels):
Other gear/weapons/equipment: Knives, grenades, sharp sticks; other equipment that is relevant to the plot or useful on missions.
Other useful information: Your characters hobbies and interests, or notable aspects of their family history or other such non-critical, but flavour stuff could go in here.
