The encounter at least managed to amuse Caroline until The crotch shot. As to the question she sighed. "Well we are supposed to meet him here so until he shows up you're the only person that fits the bill at the moment. Maybe you should ask what's taking him so long." Smiling slightly she glanced past Blake, no sign of Carolyn yet. But that wasn't too much a surprise. Knowing the position there was always a little something to get taken care of at the end of school.

Speaking of she had her hands full trying to get everything swapped up. Projects demanded a brief council meeting to make sure things were on track. It seemed to take forever, for sure she would be the last to get there. Hopefully her sister was there like they planned.

The sentence trailed off as Sayuri turned and referenced something she was feeling. Ariel tried to see if she could sense anything in particular. "Huh? What is it? I don't..."

Overlook / Northeastern mountainside

How long had she wandered before finding this place? Too long it felt. Truthfully it had only been three years, the tiniest fraction of her lifetime. But they were the most lonely years she'd ever gone through. Vengeance did not fill the hole left by her family's death. She had moved on from that, there was nothing left to do but accept that they were gone. Since coming to Voldoa a couple months ago she'd yet to find her place in society. Hunting was still a habitual occurrence despite having food provided by the Engineers. It was not to her taste anyway. The humans down the mountain may have been alerted to something hidden above by one of her ventures outside the city.

Her taste for fighting had waned despite her more than capable experience. Defending the city could be a good occupation for her. But as of yet there was no attachment to the place. It had not set in that this was not just another stop on the journey, but a haven that should be considered home. The quiet yet sleepless night was broken by the unnatural screech of the owl creature. The dragons keen senses had picked up from where it had come. Emerging from her den she soared around the mountain to get a view from out of sight. Light and movement were below as she lighted on a boulder. They were pray for the fowl, easily outmatched by the silent movement through the air and superior vision in the darkness.

Koarin felt little need to get involved. Surely those who were on the job already would dispense of them shortly. To get involved would put her in a position she would rather avoid. Yes she hated humans, but her prior hunting of them made her no better than they. Such a realization served to pacify the woman. Only in defense would she find herself in conflict were she the choice. And from this distance there was no reason to believe that she was in any danger. With a rather bored expression she curled up against a rock face and watched events unfold.

@t2wave I'm pretty sure I've never said anything about how I envisioned Kat's house but you managed to get it pretty spot on, so well done :P

Be where you want to be. A majority would have gone to Kat's place so they have a place to stay that is largely safe. However if you want to still be at the ruins, your own place, Starbucks, or the moon you are welcome to place your character there.

Lady Lobo is coming for Superman and Martian Manhunter's DNA because she still has it in her mind that she should be reviving species.

Kat's Home

As the offers stood, Kagerou knew that not everyone would be on board with any option. Making an executive decision they began to move everyone to Kat's home. The exception were those that expressly chose not to go, which was not many. Weary, battered, and broken a peaceful place to rest was welcome. Kat's residence was far flung from the crowded city the Academy was in. Secluded and surrounded by wilderness it was quite calm and exactly what people needed. As the Asgardian had described the location had ample room for the ragged group. Why she needed such a large place prior to this was anyones guess, but no one was going to complain about it now.

Academy Ruins

Having moved out it was decided to let SHIELD handle transporting the deceased away. However some of the graduated students had stayed to assist and defending. No doubt there were many enemies that would love to get their hands on any number of their DNA, weapons, magic items, and the like. Having left a little prior the newly forming team of June and Nicholas was still lacking on members. They didn't get far though before a disturbance was detected and moving toward the academy. Taking point the vehicle was immobilized and approached by agents. No one appeared to be driving and before they could react a device went off. The electrical signal caused a neurological disturbance and they dropped to the ground. Rolling out of the jeep Lady Lobo grabbed her invention and grinned widely. "Sorry for that peeps, but I have some species to save."

Crushing the burnt out cylinder in her hand she continued walking until bullets began bouncing off of her. At first she snickered before letting out a uncontrolled belly laugh. Ahaha! N-no, s-stop it. That tickles!" Doubling over she fell to the ground. Clearly the bullets weren't working at intended but they deed seem to stop the strange woman's advance. The noise drew Estella's attention, having chosen to stay behind and assist despite being worn down. A fight was about to start and that got her blood pumping.
