@Caits Ariel will probably be resting for a while so I will wait to post as her. Just so you aren't waiting for me.
HOLY FUCK

SIX DAYS?! WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING

Yup. Been waiting to see if there is more activity before making a character.

Stopping in her tracks, Lila eyed the gun warily. Such a tool was often used against her kind. Quick, deadly, and weldable by most anyone. At this distance there was little chance to avoid a hit. But the woman had no intention of getting shot, not while she could avoid a confrontation anyway.

Holding her hands up where they could be seen there was a clear sense of fear. Partly because her life was in danger, but also her mission had likewise made a turn for the worse. All her efforts to be seen differently had vanished because of one encounter. How could she be so weak as to fall to her base instincts. While the standoff was only a few seconds in it felt like forever. The spider's mind raced trying to figure out what to do. Vaguely she remembered a child's voice telling her something. "I didn't mean to attack anyone. There was a force, a voice... I was compelled." How could she explain this in a way that made sense. Surely she must have sounded desperate or crazy.

It was then that she again remembered the ruby. Yes, the stone creatures had one too. Whatever it was must be what controlled their actions. It seemed now that she suffered the same fate. But who's or what's will was it that had such a strong hold. With her left hand she pointed to the ruby embedded in her palm. "This thing. I picked it from the pillar and it has stuck in my hand. There were runes that spread to my head and I lost control. Whatever it is caused me, and them, to attack." She motioned to the statues which had simultaneously become peaceful.
Are you guys cool with the concept of 'special needs' dorms, that not only cover disabilities of various kinds, but also include students whose powers require special environments?

I know some of you remember Sue/Echo who could turn sound into power, and had to have a completely soundproof dorm?

Imagine various dorms like that.

For example, Kassy's has a large pool in the floor in lieu of a bed, and an air humidifier, among other things.

That would be fine. I would expect that the academy would equip necessities for particular students.

The fruit was juicy and had a light melon taste. It had a lot of water in it which made sense given the magic it likely had. Speaking of which as Tidius took the bite he could feel the magic flow through him. Maybe this was a similar sensation to what Ariel felt. It definitely was different from dealing with magic externally. Of course one bite did not equate to much. But for Tidius' purposes it was probably the closest he'd come to gaining magic. Literally he could taste it.
@Caits What colored fruit does Tidius have right now?
If you want to brainstorm something for the game I'm open to helping out on that front. :P

I think I have something that would be good actually. I appreciate the offer though. Now to flesh out the character.
This looks rather interesting. Though it appears that several of my usual character choices are taken.

Accepting the pillow and blanket the woman lay down to actually sleep. It didn't take long for that to happen. With Tidius, the fruit definitely held magic inside it. Clearly Ariel was able to absorb the magic when eating it. Although she does seem to be a special case with most of these situations. Still it looked rather enticing even if better judgement said to avoid taking a bite of strange fruit.
Uuuuh... What?
