Current Now that I have given up video games I should have a lot more time to RP now. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have declared this but hopefully I won't be the last.

To all those who are awaiting a post from me I'm sorry. I have no excuses. I expect the very best from myself and frankly that kind of pressure brings about some major procrastination.

Alright, no more screwing around. I have to get started on my various projects. I can't let another week go by with nothing done. Lady France awaits and I'm not getting any younger.

I guess this is where I explain myself.

All I can say is that my existence is an endless void occasionally interrupted by passing flashes of light.
Interlaced with a little randomness here and there to, ya know, keep things interesting.

Sorry for the double post, but I need to get down on my knees and beg your forgiveness here - things are getting crazy hectic this week, and I am struggling a little to cope with pesky "real world responsibilities", let alone my far more interesting and entertaining online ones. I'm going to need a bit more time to put everything in order in the aforementioned real world before I can get our sharedimaginary world back in order.

Don't worry if the responsibilities of being a GM get too much for you at times. We can always amuse ourselves by creating new stuff and delving into that a little. If you have any anxieties at all then feel free to share with the group or privately with any of the role players, myself included.

Best wishes and good luck.

I have a question about npcs @Rhythmloid. Will you control them all or will we each have a set of npcs we control?
@TwelveOf8 thank you for volunteering!

My pleasure.
Charles stood at the waist high thick marble fencing that separated the outdoor leisure area from the steep slope below. He held a glass tumbler of scotch on the rocks in his left hand while his right hand rested upon the marble fence. As smooth and as polished as ever, just like the rest of the luxurious villa home.

He had a view that was worth a million dollars. Well, seventy-one point five million anyway. All of it payed upfront of course. "Spare no expense" was the Lancaster family motto after all. And it showed, in everything they owned and in every action they made. Opulence, style, and power all the way. Charles Lancaster III grinned smugly to himself at this thought. The evening breeze teased his short and impeccably groomed chestnut hair. The breeze blew from the direction of the town of Sea Salt Bay. The luxurious villa of the Lancasters sat upon the side of a tall hill, or perhaps a small mountain, overlooking the quaint little town. The lights of Sea Salt Bay twinkled every single night. They twinkled for the Lancasters alone.

Charles took another sip of his scotch. The good stuff he smuggled from his fathers private stash. Scotch that only the rich could afford to drink regularly. Charles wouldn't be caught dead drinking cheap peasant swill. It was a good thing his parents weren't at home though. They were going to be away for a while. For the rest of the year to be exact. They had managerial duties that demanded all their attention over in Alaska. Something about finding a new oil deposit and making a pipeline trough some native peasants land.

His father never spoke about business unless he absolutely had to. His father, Devon, always criticised him whenever he did. Charles was always treated like a kid, spoken down to by him constantly and incessantly. "Prove yourself to be a true Lancaster Charles, only then will you earn my trust and respect. Until then, stay out of my way. Do what must be done." said his father much too often. Charles resolved to outdo that tired old man one day. But until then, why not have a little fun?

The new school year was going to start soon, a time of new beginnings for all. Charles had an idea that he'd been toying around with for quite some time. It seemed that nothing he did was ever good enough for his father. Well, let's see how that old man likes it when he returns to find that his sons name is more respected and feared than his own, Charles thought to himself.

A devious smile spread accross Charles's face. One way or another, this town will be his. When it came to all future ventures, one must start at the bottom. In the case of Charles himself, that would be the school yard. He dare not use his wealth to buy his way up though, like a typical classless nouveau riche. The richest of the rich arose through influence alone, whilst keeping losses to the bare minimum. In that spirit, Charles hatched his devious plan. He was going to reform the Royals and take the school. First the school, then the town.

Charles grinned smugly to himself before taking another sip of scotch.
I will start, when I have the time later today @Rhythmloid. If not then @MissCapnCrunch can do the honours.
Maybe we can start the RP anyway? Just have it be a smaller event than usual. @MissCapnCrunch@Rhythmloid. I'm sure it's been done successfully before.
Curses! Foiled again! Fiddlesticks puppy dog eyes manoeuvre proved ineffective against the mechanical woman @Archmage MC. It always worked a treat before, but only on old grandmas and civilised space gorillas from planet Kong of the Skull system. One things for sure though, Toony was neither an old grandma nor a space gorilla. Fiddlesticks took a mental note of that. He also took another mental note that he had to write down his previous mental note before he forgot. Upon which he placed yet another mental note stating that he had to write down the mental note that reminded him to write down the mental note of his inquisitive findings of Toony. Fiddlesticks decided to stop before he gave himself a migraine. That was why he never used mental notes, they always left a messy mental pile. The mind of Fiddlesticks was chaotic enough as it was.

Did Toony just say babysit!? Fiddlesticks felt a little offended at the very idea that he needed babysitting, but he let it slide. He had to keep on Toonys good side in order for his tasty scheme to work. And so Fiddlesticks just stood there, smiling amicably like a chump.

The PA system issued forth a summons of the crew to the bridge. And apparently, the planet of Ofromia wanted to communicate with the crew. "Wonder whats on their thoughts?" Toony said, waving for Fiddlesticks to follow as she made her way to the Bridge. Fiddlesticks wondered the same thing. What was their char grilled, oil soaked, lovingly seasoned beef with us?

Fiddlesticks picked up his giant lucky spanner from his bed and placed it in its special black strap on his back, attached to his blue denim overalls. He then put on his brown leather work gloves that sat on one of the many boxes in his room. Fiddlesticks cut an imposing figure in his denim overalls, black Wellington boots, brown leather gloves, and his white shirt festooned with various food and engine fluid stains. "let's go" he said, in the deepest most badass voice he could muster, which sounded like a human pre-pubescent child that spoke slowly.

Fiddlesticks followed Toony to the bridge of the Quest for Flavour. A large amount of the bees were there, in an extra concentrated swarm. The uptight iguana dude was there as well. When Fiddelsticks saw Vanessa though, his mind went blank. His shyness around pretty girls returned with a vengeance.

Does Shaun of the Dead count as a romantic comedy with zombies? Probably not. I liked Shaun of the Dead; it was sort of like a film-length episode of Spaced. Spaced was good, if a bit weird. It probably doesn't help that I last rewatched Spaced about a decade ago, so my fuzzy memory plus how weird it was has mingled together to create something much weirder.

Shaun of the Dead was amazing! I so would've came up with the same plan to survive the zombie apocalypse. Just go to the Winchester and wait for it all to blow over. I haven't seen spaced, maybe I will look it up later. I have enough weirdness to deal with already though a little more can't hurt.
Note to all: I do write when I would rather be playing video games or sleeping. That would explain the strange language I use sometimes. Apologies I advance. I'm just a very very very lazy man. I'm as lazy as I am crazy. That's saying something. Anyways, good tidings and happy festivus for the rest of us.
Don't you worry you brilliant yet crazy little head of yours @Hylozoist. Just don't disappear on us ok? The RP graveyard is overflowing as it is. It's a sad and really putrid smelling state of affairs. Also, let's face it, the zombie craze is so 2011. I got nothing against zombies, it's just that there's only so much you can do with a story based on them ya know. There was that one zombie movie that was a romantic comedy. Warm Bodies is what it's called. I haven't seen it but apparently it's pretty good. You know what's also pretty good? Lemony Snickets a Series of Unfortunate Events the series. I mean, I may be biased since I've been waiting for that show to come out for the last couple of years but wow. I didn't much like the wooden child actors though. But I suppose everything and everyone in that show is exaggerated to the extreme. For the sake of comedy and general light heartedness. Wait, what am I talking about again?

Sorry, I just went off on a bit of a tangent there. Well anyways, I'm sure what you've got cooked up for us would be amazeballs. Just take all the time you need. We're not all silently judging you or anything. Well, maybe some of us. Nah, just kidding. Or am I!?
