Current Now that I have given up video games I should have a lot more time to RP now. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have declared this but hopefully I won't be the last.

To all those who are awaiting a post from me I'm sorry. I have no excuses. I expect the very best from myself and frankly that kind of pressure brings about some major procrastination.

I very well may be the worst fps player the world has ever known.

Alright, no more screwing around. I have to get started on my various projects. I can't let another week go by with nothing done. Lady France awaits and I'm not getting any younger.

Bio

I guess this is where I explain myself.

All I can say is that my existence is an endless void occasionally interrupted by passing flashes of light.
Interlaced with a little randomness here and there to, ya know, keep things interesting.

@Rhythmloid I'm sure you know what you're doing with your characters. I have complete faith in you.
@Rhythmloid I thought Corinne was mixed of some kind based off of your picture. That's really interesting! My only problem was that she looked way too young and too cute. It makes the dynamic trio look like a bunch of, ya know. Not the vibe I was goin for. But still, I think we can make it work.

Here's a possible idea. Perhaps she can be like Hermione Granger. Very girlish and cutesie wootsie looking. But when she dresses up to go out! XD
@Cuddle Pot Yeah this idea tickles my fancy.
Maybe we can go forth anyway? @DepressedSoviet@Lady Selune
We could make it into a sort of collaborative novel.
The walk to school was as lousy as he remembered it. The sun bearing down overhead, the smell of exhaust from the cars passing by, old people mowing their lawns while looking at him with a mixture of fear and disdain. Such an exercise was beyond humiliating. He earned his place damn it! But he had to lay low, they all had to. It was part of the deal.

Chet parked his motorcycle at a friends place who lived nearby. Those vehicles weren't allowed at Salt Bay High. They didn't want to project a "bad image". What a joke. That school was filled with some of the most conniving, manipulative, and backstabbing people the world has ever known. It was the Salt Bay Turbos who returned to the school the rule of strength and skill. And thus, in turn, allowing the rule of honour to return. Even though they were outlaws, Chet took pride in inspiring honour and badassery in the children of their local community. Having a hand in creating the next generation of Salt Bay Turbos.

There was nobody else on earth Chet hated more than Charles. But he had no choice. He must stick to the plan. All Chet could do was bide his time. He knew full well that Charles could never be trusted. Unfortunately for that pompous square, Chet wasn't always trustworthy either.

Just a little bit longer, Chet thought to himself. It must be done for the boys. Soon though, they'll party. They'll party on the grave of Charles's reputation. A couple of his cars would look real nice adorned with the Salt Bay Turbo insignia.

At the entrance of the school, none of the other students recognised him. For that he was beyond thankful. But at the same time, pissed beyond belief. Charles will pay.
I should totally check the comic out one day! I have some fun facts of my own.

Fun Fact 1: The 50s music and aesthetic is extremely popular in Scandinavian countries right now. My own brother even went to a wedding there where everyone was cosplaying as people from the 50s.

Fun Fact 2: Charles is inspired by someone I know in real life. He is privileged, arrogant, narcissistic, and proudly racist and xenophobic. The way your boyfriend feels about Charles is the exact same way I feel about this guy.
That's why these RPs should be taken as group projects as well as something done for leisure. It gets tough, staying committed and all that.

People have got to realise that it's not always going to be amazing and perfect. There will be stretches of time where the story is boring and a bit contrived. It's during these times that people have to ramp up their dedication, not scale it back. If you're only in it for fun, then doing something creative and collaborative is not for you. That's not to say that you can't have fun doing something of that nature. It's just that one has to remember that sure, it can be fun, but primarily, it's work!

I have found that encouraging others encourages me in turn. So when someone feels bad for whatever reason. When someone doesn't want to post anymore. By all means, encourage them. Even when everything is fine, encourage them. Always be encouraging to each other. Always seek to encourage and inspire. After all, being good at that is truly the most important skill. Even more so than the supposed "relevant" skills.

Also, one must realise that what one says can vastly affect the confidence of others. It's not always fun being the wearer of the pants but someone has to do it! Always be encouraging yes but call out bullshit whenever appropriate.

It's work people! A labour of love! Not pretend play time! Start acting like it!
Oh gosh. I did it again didn't I. I was going to make a post but then I was distracted by something. I then retreated into myself for several days, again. Now I'm going to take my own advice and pick up where I left off
No! I will not accept this! I refuse! @Hylozoist
This RP doesn't deserve to end this way! No work of collaborative creativity does! Least of all this one.

Sure, we may not always be able to work at our best, but truly, beauty comes from imperfection. Believe it or not, the form perfection takes is actually very bland.

It's during our darkest times when our characters are put to the test. It's when the chips are down when we see what we are truly made of.

I am only involved with one other RP. In that RP I am the only player. The GM thought that the project was dead for sure. But I insisted that we continue anyway. Now she bugs me all the time about new posts. She's even admitted to becoming obsessed with some of the characters I've created. I don't mean to brag but the point is, the most amazing and unexpected things can happen when life doesn't go according to plan. When life takes a shape one did not previously envision.

I know anxiety all too well. It is the fear of uncertainty. Fearing uncertainty is completely understandable when the feelings of others are on the line. But guess what? Uncertainty is born from chaos. The wonderful thing about chaos is that it allows for change. When change is possible, amazing things are possible.

When things are always perfect though, that's something else entirely. When something reaches perfection, then truly, its reached the end of its journey. Any change from that point on would be a change for the worse. Why go on? This RP will never be perfect, and I hope it never will be. The charm of this RP lies in its quirkiness and unpredictability after all. Don't get that from perfection!

TLDR: The fear of uncertainty can strike when people's feelings are involved. One always wants to make others happy after all. But uncertainty comes from chaos. From chaos comes emergence. From emergence comes everything and anything. All things considered, it's nothing to be afraid of but rather something that should be embraced. Embrace the chaos and accept it. In time, with your help of course, it will provide.

So @Hylozoist. Won't you put your GM hat back on one more time? I miss those big goofy feathers.
@SleepingSilence Very interesting mix of electro, power metal, and 80s nostalgia. Reminds me of those sci-fi comedy movies like weird science. 6/10
