Current Now that I have given up video games I should have a lot more time to RP now. I'm sure that I'm not the first person to have declared this but hopefully I won't be the last.

To all those who are awaiting a post from me I'm sorry. I have no excuses. I expect the very best from myself and frankly that kind of pressure brings about some major procrastination.

Has anyone heard of this Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen guy? They say he's number one.

Alright, no more screwing around. I have to get started on my various projects. I can't let another week go by with nothing done. Lady France awaits and I'm not getting any younger.

Bio

I guess this is where I explain myself.

All I can say is that my existence is an endless void occasionally interrupted by passing flashes of light.
Interlaced with a little randomness here and there to, ya know, keep things interesting.

I'm done for now! Time to step up to the plate @Rhythmloid@Love Dove!
Your art style is somewhat similar. I thought you went by a different name when you made your more serious pieces. I was about to say though that this piece of art is amazing! Reference the hell out of this! 0_0
All was in complete darkness. Only the echoing sounds of his own footsteps accompanied the stalwart hero down into the inky blackness. Gilligans lantern illuminated the stairwell only a couple of meters in front of him. The limestone walls and stairs were perfectly smooth and cool to the touch. Immaculately clean without a trace of moisture.

It didn't take long for the darkness and quiet to get to Gilligan. Paranoid thoughts and feelings swirled in his head like a hurricane. Filling the the gaps that his sensory deprivation left in his mind. Gilligan had no way of telling the time. Whether he traversed down the stairs for several minutes to a couple of hours, he knew not. For all Gilligan knew, these stairs could very well lead him to the gates of hell itself.

And so he continued, barely keeping his courage intact. Down into the heart of darkness. The very essence of mystery itself made the air tingle.

Actually, I'll go first
"When it comes to a play-by-post style of game, however, it's harder; I have to sort of "guess", for lack of a better way of putting it, what it is you'll want to react to"

Therein lies the problem. You seem to be so hung up on what other people want, that you're both consciously and subconsciously stemming the natural flow of things. This is true for RPs as well as life. News flash! There's little to nothing you can do to make people react the way you want them to. Even if you're doing everything right, they may react in a way that's completely wrong regardless. The best one can do is to just be honest with how one feels about the situation one finds oneself in. No more can be expected of one. Anti-climactic advice I know but that's all there is to it.

They say life isn't easy. People say this because the difficulty of many scenarios can't be controlled very well. But guess what!? Life isn't meant to be played, it's meant to be lived.

TLDR: Be honest with what you want and screw what people think! If people give you shit, then I guarantee, that they don't have the courage to do the same. Embrace the chaos.

As for the mission length. I say let them play out for as long as it needs to. Until the objective is achieved of course. Getting lost and distracted is fine but a gentle nudge here and there towards the mission objective is warranted.

I'm glad we're all sharing @Archmage MC@Hylozoist. Perhaps maybe we can express these things more through our artistic contributions? That would make for something very interesting. I for one can't wait to go back to the game! n_n

@Love Dove And then it will be my turn.
@TwelveOf8

HOLY SHIT WE GOTTA USE THIS

Is this your original creation?
Sounds like a typical day for me.

Anyway, for the logo, I have another idea. Have it be a cloaked skeleton sitting on a buoy out at sea.

I leave it up to you. Feel free to make whatever you wish
That actually looks pretty good. Do you have other ideas for logos as well?
@Hylozoist You can do it! We believe in you! Do as little as you feel like. Just please, for the love of Hendersons Ribs and its affiliates, don't stop. Don't stop building and contributing. Seeing a commitment through to the end is worth it, even of it doesn't feel like it at the time.

I repeat, do as little as you feel like. Just do something, please.
