Tobias looked up, seeing it wsa Ravenia that had come to his call for help. he nodded "we are going to do this together, i'll remove the object, you cover it to hold off the bleeding so i can get the needle ready to sew it closed.. this man has lost a lot of blood and each time i remove one of these nails he's going to lose more til i can get it closed, so we'll have to move slow and steady, but also fast" nodding to her.. he had everything they'd need.. rolls of bandages and towels to mop up the blood that was coming, already a good portion of blood soaked bandages and towels were on the floor as he had gotten the man's back cleaned off, and each wound covered, they'd work at it systematic, removing and sewing each one up at a time. with the Saline replaced with blood, the transfusion going strong, Tobias wiped his brow on the back of his arm. "alright, i got one out and closed, so we'll do this together, keep the area cleaned as best you can, try to not wait for me to ask, my hands are going to be moving alright" looking up at her one last time. "ready?" he asked, and not waiting for her answer, he took up the tweezers. "remove the next bandage" and the moment she would, they'd begin.

Tobias smirked as he walked into the back room, where the nurse had taken the children. Ravenia's words still playing around in his head, leave it to her to get her resolve back, and start flirting again. clearing his throat, he looked at the children. "well now" he smiled at them kindly. "now that we are not so rushed, my name is Tobias, im the Doctor around here, and im just going to give you each a check up, and then make you both a little something to take that will hopefully help you sleep nice and long, then tomorrow we'll see about getting you so good breakfast alright?" he asked, dealing with Children was easy, though at first it hadnt been.. his bedside manner had been limited when he first arrived and had stated he had some medical training, now it was pretty much like breathing. taking an old worn, but still useable Stethoscope, he tapped the front of it after the buds were in his ears, he smiled. "working just fine, might be a little cold but you wont feel anything" he said, moving to start checking them over, when he heard a combination of Fen yelling for him, and Shay being hit by the antidotes effects, he pulled the buds out. "new plan, the nurse is going to come in and give you the check up alright, and i will come see you two later" leaving the room he looked at Ravenia. "something isnt sitting right with me" he whispered to her. "something isnt sitting right with me at all, they dont look any worse for wear" he said, before he rushed toward where Fen was with their russian, his eyes widening as he saw why Fen Called for him. "alright, this guy needs operated on now!" he yelled, unhooking the shackle. "Fen, go on and get out of here, you dont want to see this" he then rushed out and toward the equipment table, collecting on a tray everything he was going to need or thought he was going to need, running through the list in his head. "Someone didnt want our Russian friend to live, and by the looks of his wounds, if i can save his life, it will be a true Miracle, but im going to try my damnedest" sighing. "Sun, Isam and Fen, sit with Shay, talk to her softly, be there for her cause what she is going through right now isnt fun, i assure you" knowing what the sickness was like first hand, though he had been the only one the purposely get cut or bitten by the damned dead. rushing back into the room. "i need an extra set of hands!" he called out, hoping someone would come, if not he'd start working and eventually he probably grow the damned things.

not about to wait, he gently flipped the man over onto his stomach, moving the water that had for his IV to the other side of the bed so it wasnt stretched and in the way, then Tobias began tearing the man's shirt open, exposing his back fully. "damn" he said, seeing the damage first hand, this was going to take some time as he collected the tweezers, sterilizing them over a flame and beginning the long process of digging out the first of many modified nails this guy had imbedded.

Tobias stood before Ravenia, he could see her completely drained. he looked down into her eyes, seeing the tear, and then he was pulled forward.. he wrapped his arms around her tightly, rubbing her back. "it wasnt your fault Ravenia, you cant plan for everything and i saw the size of that horde, it was a matter of time before someone would have gotten hurt" he said softly. "i know you couldnt have bared it, just like i couldnt have with knowing you were out there, why do you think i came back?" she was one of the reasons, he had planned to return anyway after delivering the children to safety, hearing Fen's call just made his resolve more complete. he sighed. "you are a great mother to his city and its people.. Blessed Ones and humans, and anyone that says differently, send them to me, i'll set them straight" shaking his head, he removed his arms and looked down at her, cupping her face in his hands. "listen to me, and listen good.. everyone here would put their lives on the line to protect what we have here, you do not get to take all this on your shoulders, its a weight we all bare" he smirked. "i dont mind if you want to hold me, thought might make me grow a lot more arms or hands, and no guarentee they are well behaved as these are" wiggling his own two hands.

hearing Fen, he cleared his throat, and took a measured step back. "she'll be fine Fen, she's not going to turn into anything, she'll have it rough for a few hours, the injection isnt easy on a body that isnt meant to adapt but it will work, i promise" he said, looking to Ravenia, he bent down and kissed her forehead lightly, before he moved on to check on their new guest, and not the children yet. "i gave him a once over before" moving to the large man. "he seems to be suffering from sunstroke and dehydration" checking the man's pulse. he went and collected the things they used as an IV, which was a lot of mismatch hoses, all hooked together to make the tube, with a large glass container.. he filled it with water, clean water, adding a little bit of something that will help get the water to his needed systems and organs, then he came over, and like a pro had the IV hooked up, and the water flowing. "we'll give him the water this way, til he wakes" motioning to Fen. "til we know who he is, best to be prepared" under the bed, Tobias knelt and pulled out the shackles, and hooked the man's right side up, letting Fen get the left. "we cant be to careful" once done, he moved out and saw Clo, and he got stern. "and who told you to take the scenic route here?" he asked, pointing to a bed. "in, now.. when i come back from checking on the children, you better be comfortable in that bed, and ready to get checked out" growing a little somber. "Shay got clawed up real good, but i got her injected with the cure, and her leg bandaged up, she'll be alright, its just a little much for everyone is all" he said, clapping her on the shoulder.. he took his duties as the doc serious, just like his father had. "get in bed Clo before you fall down" looking to the others. "our guest looks russian, if anyone has a book on Russian, even something in Russian if you get it to me, i might be able to speak the language before he comes to, we can find out some answers, we dont know how well he can speak english" sighing. "im going to check on the children, then i'll come back.. Ten minutes in bed Ravenia to collect yourself, Clo your in bed til i check you out and Fen" looking at the wolf shifter. "nicely done" nodding, he turned and went to where the nurse had taken the two children.

Xaven was still new to the Town, the only thing most would know about him would be what they'd heard.. about his parents and that he was what was classified as a bad boy, and yea he had been and still was on occasion but that wasnt all there was to him or to anyone really if you thought about it.. Lady froze and stared at the kittens with a look of curiousity. Xaven would smile, kneeling down. "why hello there" he said, reaching to scratch behind their ears. "you two are out early this morning, did you have a jail break for some young little girl that just "loves you to death" making a joke, he opened the container he had, reaching inside he took out a cookie. "here you go, its not chocolate so i dont feel bad for giving you one" breaking it in half he laid the two pieces down on the sidewalk. "now dont let that spoil your dinner huh?" smiling, he gave each a couple pets each, then a scratch behind the ear. "come on lady" stepping around the kittens he went on his way, arriving at the primary school, he walked up to the playground, smiling as he was instantly swarmed by the young children. "what did you bring us this time" one asked. "looks like cookies" another said, peering into the see thru container. "alright alright, i made enough for everyone to have at least four" opening it up, he held it out, and hands were swirming in and out like hungry sharks in chummed waters, he laughed.. Lady even shook, her own type of laugh as she was being petted, she loved the attention.
