she gave him a small smile. She liked his optimism and wished she felt the same. She kissed his cheek "i love you James" she says to him. She wanted him to know just incase she wont see him again.

"good" he says "you need to stand your ground to him, so him no weakness" he says. he walks over to Elizabeth and takes her hands and kisses them. "and you will give me a heads up that he is coming right?" he smiled at her.

Kali looked at James "i dont think he is joking" she says to James. "he would rather pick my suitors then me find one i really liked" she told him.

Brandon nodded "yes thats about right" he says. "My father is a prick" he says "He also stated that he has someone lined up for Kali" he says "whether that is true or not i dont know, it might be his way of getting to you" he says. He looked at Elizabeth "and have you told him you were being courted?" he smiled at her. He wasnt afraid of her father, because he had one that was the same way.

Kali hoped it was a test for James. She doesn't like her father's taste in men.

Kali looked at the floor as tears fell her eyes.

Brandon looked at her and frowned and reached out for her and took her hand. "you will be okay, i wont let him touch you" he whispered in her ear.

Brandon looked at James and Elizabeth "my Father" he says "will be here in 2 days" he said solemnly.

There was a knock on the girls door. Kali looked at James then to Brnadon and went to the door to answer it. She wasn't expecting anyone since her brother and James was here already. When she opened the door a maid stood there with a letter and handed it to Kali. She read the name on the fron that had hers and her brothers name on it. She opened it up and began reading it and she turned white as a ghost.

Brandon looked at Elizabeth, he turned his head to watch his sister and saw her just stop and look like she saw a ghost. He stood up and went over to her "what is it?" he asked her

SHe handed him the letter and looked at James with tears in her eyes.

Brandon read through the letter "shit" he muttered under his breath.

Kali signed happily with James next to her. She couldnt wait to see where this relationship is going. she was happy with him. He made her smile.
