she slapped his arm "James what should i wear when i meet her" she got up and went to her closet. She wanted to make a good first impression. she wanted to look pretty for him too.

he laughed "its the same thing" he says to her and kissed her cheek. "and a laugh" he says "man im good"

she shrugged "you made it sound like that i go with you everywhere and make the family look good. It sounded like i dont get any say in what/where i go or do." she says "i dont want to be a pawn anymore" she says to him. "i have been one my entire life" she told him.

Brandon looked at her "well even in the grimm tales the mother passes and the father remarries" he says "so your mother is really your step mother?" he asked "she didn't treat you well, and unfortunately sounds like your father was no better in how he treats you" he says "is your brother the same as them?"
