Kali looked at him "look i still have all my fingers and toes" she giggles "the buffet didn't bite me" she teased him.

He smiled "i already did and you accepted" he winked at her. "but to make it official it wont be long" he says "i have to meet with your father first, formalities" he told her

She came back with a plate of shrimp and a glass of bloodwine.

she laughed "im getting food, not petting a lion" she says and winks at him and gets to the buffet. she looks at the food and picks out a few things to eat.

"undecided" he says "okay then ask me something" he says to her "anything you want" he told her

"oh liz dont be shy" he says to him "if you want you can change the subject, you pick" he says to her. He was listening to his sisters conversation and he was happy she was going to have a good family.

she sat up and smiled at James. She gave him a peck on the lips. "i will be back, im hungry" she says to him. "excuse me" she says and stood up and walking over to buffet.

she smiled at Emma "Besides James has been telling me you want grandchildren, you will be the only grandparent that our children will know" she says to her "so see you will have to be around more" her smile reached her eyes.

"well if James asks me to marry him and my father agrees to the union, i hope we see more of you" she says to Emma

"no?" he says "you never thought of laying beside me in bed with my arms around you holding you as you sleep?" he whispered in her ear.
