[ROLEPLAY CLOSED] - The Demigods of Camp Half-Blood

@Vicier I'm almost positive Eli is ready for the character page and his intro post. Corrected the drug cabin pact, and focused his Demi-abilities on more of his legacy but he still inherited a core ability from Eris but the description of shorter than the other because it's kinda hard for me to explain how someone could manipulate Discord besides the obvious.

I like it a lot; the powers from his mother are a lot more balanced, and the powers you gave him from his legacy just help to instill that gambling type background that you wanted him to have. Also, I most definitely believe that at least /one/ of the Demeter kids would be the drug thpe, so it's definitely more believable for him to get his supply from there, than from the Artemis cabin.

Welcome to the camp..! Feel free to start/post an introduction for him; and don't be afraid to interact with any of the characters already milling about. I look forward to seeing him in action. While she may not seem it; woman in ancient Greece would pray to the Goddess Hera for the blessing of a child. While she is the Goddess who is said to grant them fertility; Aphrodite is the Goddess of sex, and Artemis the Goddess of childbirth.

Demeter is the Olympian goddess of agriculture, grain, bread, the prime sustenance of mankind. She's also said to presided over the foremost of the Mystery Cults which promised its intiates the path to a blessed afterlife. And then Persephone, who happens to be my favorite of the Goddesses, is Queen of the Underworld, and wife to Hades- she is also the Goddess of Spring and spring growth; along with her mother Demeter, she was worshipped in the Eleusinian Mysteries which is the agricultural-based cult who promised its initiates passage to a blessed afterlife.

As for your question about Hekate; children from the Goddess are allowed, though as she is basically the Goddess of magic, and there is that chance for her children to become OP, there are restrictions that will need to be taken into consideration. Besides that; if she is the parentage you want for your character, go for it :D

Personality: Seen by all those who know him to be a very outgoing, and rather extroverted young man; Dean oftentimes comes across as extremely overconfident and almost cocky in his actions towards not only others, but also towards situations that he finds himself mixed up in, or unsure about. Naturally sporty, and quite talented at things such as AFL, parkour, and swimming; Dean is an extremely and steadfastly loyal individual to all those that he considers both friends and family- never once trying or ever bothering to hide his love, support and faithfulness towards the people that he is truly comfortable around, and close to.

Initially rather shocked and quite worried when first finding out about that not only his best friend, but also his best friends little sister were both evo's; Dean, after a few encounters with just what their powers could actually do against him, became slightly traumatized and crestfallen, causing him to become more alert and more invested in the things happening around the world- however after regaining his confidence around the both of them, the young man once again relaxed into daily routine by becoming well-adjusted and completely integrated within their lives; and striving to help out, protect, and to keep their secret safe.

Known on the rare occasion to show his immense rage issues, mostly in part due to his intermittent explosive disorder; Dean can sometimes become not only impulsive and irrational, but also during the worst of times, can become downright homicidal- though with the help of his friends, family, and a mantra taught to him at a young age, he continues to do his best to curve and diffuse his episodes of pure unadulterated rage. With a high sense of moral and responsibility, and wanting nothing more than to atone for both his actions and the aftermath that come from each of his episodes; Dean harbors great remorse over his rageful and angered stints, and how they have hurt not only people around him, but also his parents and his friends- Jaidyn and Erin in particular.

Seasonal Descriptions:
Spring Solstice - When focusing upon the particular season of Spring, Erin is able to help both the seeds to take root and the vegetation to grow; she is also able to bring in the warmer and slightly wetter weather when she feels as though her garden is in need of a water. As a side effect of bringing along the Spring weather and climate, it tends to confuse some animals, forcing them to awaken or return due to the rise in temperature, oftentimes with newborns; it also can bring along with it increased rainfall, and may cause flooding within waterways close to where she uses her powers.

Summer Equinox - When focusing upon the particular season of Summer, Erin is able to increase the temperatures to their hottest settings, bringing on not only some of the most perfect days to hit the waves at the beach, but also some of the most scorching days of the year to those around her. However, bringing the hot Summer weather can lead to extremely dangerous side effects; if the temperatures spike too high, both heat waves and droughts may cause trouble for not only people, but also animals and vegetation as well; and while it might increase rainfall in some areas, others may receive less resulting in the increased likely-hood of wildfires.

Fall/ Autumn Solstice - When focusing upon the particular season of Autumn, also known as Fall, Erin is able to bring the temperatures back to a reasonable setting, allowing the cooler change to come through and make the days more comfortable for those around her; she is also able help her family and friends bring in bountiful harvests from their gardens. However, as a side effect of focusing upon the Autumn weather, some plants tend to grow dormant, and animals begin to prepare themselves for the cold and harsh winter weather by storing foods or traveling to warmer regions.

Winter Equinox - When focusing upon the particular season of Winter, Erin is able to decrease the temperature down to their lowest settings, not only bringing on the frosty Winter chill of the strong winds, but also some of the coldest days of the year to everyone around her; and while some areas could experience things such as snow and ice, others might only get as much as a cold Winter rainfall. As a side effect of focusing too much upon the Winter weather, animals tend to do whatever they can to warm themselves up, and tend to change their appearance in order to adapt to the colder weather.

Other: Perhaps the most notable and interesting aspect however of Erin’s ability is its dependence upon her emotional state at the time- whenever she is exceedingly calm, happy, or feels a sense of love within herself and those surrounding her, she seems to have a complete control over her abilities, and is capable of producing feats of beautiful magic; however, whenever she is feeling exceptionally nervous, sad, agitated or feels a sense of fear, her powers grow considerably unstable, and in turn can become extremely dangerous to those who are around her. Despite her instability; Erin’s ability is especially potent whenever she feels fear, causing her to act and use her powers almost on pure survival instinct- her abilities seeming to rage so far out of control that, even when restrained, she has the capability of not only changing the season within the area around her, but also effecting that of a much larger area; however, when calmed down, and once more feeling the love that those who care about her give her, she is strong enough to completely reverse the effects of her outburst, bringing back the proper seasonal weather in mere moments alone.

~Personal Information~

Personality: Seen by all those who know her to be a very sweet, charming and exceedingly graceful young woman; Erin is shown to be a quietly confident, kind-hearted and well-presented young woman, able to speak eloquently and pleasantly with all those who wish to hold a conversation with her or who wish to get to know her- helping her to create strong bonds with people that she cares about, that are tremendously hard to break. The beautiful young lady demonstrating great grace and poise when handling potentially awkward situations, doing her best to avoid ways in which might embarrass those she cares about; the girl able to hold herself in a way in which she is able to hide both her nerves and uncomfortableness, especially when in difficult circumstances that may impact both her, or anyone else that she holds dear to her heart.

Trying her very best and doing all it is that she can to make her family proud of her; Erin is often seen to be within the company of her excessively protective older brother, the two of them seeming to share such a strong sibling bond with one another that it oftentimes leaves others questioning the secrets to their parent’s success in creating a harmonious family environment. Nowhere near a stereotypical quiet, retiring girl; the young woman is more times than not found out on the beach behind her family's home with her brother and friends- or sitting upon the stairs of the porch, seeming to lose herself in her thoughts as she takes her time watching the beautiful flowers and other plants in her garden grow.

On occasion showing an absolute sweet sense of sensitivity when in social situations, Erin does all that she can to include everyone around her, trying her best to make sure that they are all at ease in situations that may arise around them; the young woman unafraid to show her disapproval to those who treat others unkindly, showing that she is both reasonable and fair, and that she believes that everyone should be treated equal, no matter what their title might be. Also known to demonstrate an intensely fierce intelligence, and a high degree of personal insight; she is able to recognize when another person’s opinions and thoughts are valued more than anyone else’s, even when the person themselves is unwilling to admit it- her own apparent wish to find someone to truly love her kept locked within her heart as she put everyone else that she cared about first, and before herself.

Known on the rare occasion to show a more timid and cautious side whenever her nerves seem to get the better of her, Erin does seem to become quite frightened and upset at times, causing for her emotions to boil over and slip out from her control, leaving her quite vulnerable and finding it hard, and sometimes almost impossible for her to express any of her true feelings to those she would normally seek out for comfort. However, an extremely resourceful and brave young woman, Erin continuously shows that she is both quick-witted and clever, able to gain a laugh from those she holds dear to her heart while still managing to maintain the warm glow that seems to surround her very being; the young lady's strong sense of compassion and thoughtfulness towards others shown clear within her actions, exceedingly so when it seems that her own guilt towards a situation has taken over her mind- the teenager appearing to have grown to be both a kind and gracious young woman, making her older brother and parents proud of who she has become.

Brief Biography: Bringing their one and only baby girl into the world; Damien and Claudia Chase both worked hard to raise their son and daughter as best as they possibly could, while also being sure to provide them with not only a comfortable lifestyle, but also with the best things that they could afford to buy them. Growing up in Australia with her older brother and his friends surrounding her, Erin learnt from a young age how to both look after and defend herself; her habit of hanging out with the guys in her life helping her to grow into not only a beautiful, but also a confident young lady. Wanting to do her very best and to out help her family in anyway that she possibly could; Erin threw herself deep into her studies, raising her grades as much as she could, and eventually managing to graduate high school with the highest marks of her year level. Managing to get herself accepted into the exact course that she wanted at one of the best universities in Melbourne, Erin continues to push herself as far as she can in hopes of making her family proud of her.

Other: Erin owns a beautiful and seasonal necklace with switchable pendants which she is rarely ever seen without it hanging around her neck; this necklace was given to her by her brother on the day that she finally graduated from high school- the necklace itself a representation of her abilities, and the bond in which she and her brother share with one another.

~Personal Information~

Personality: On appearance Vanessa can seem gloomy and downright pessimistic. However Vanessa isn't (usually) as gloomy as she seems. She isn't one to smile or laugh often, that's usually something that she only does when she is with her friends alone. She usually like to keep to herself or to a small group of people she's close with. She considers herself a level-head realist but her mind does often wander, sometimes from the likes of daydreaming, sometimes she just gets pushed into deep thought.

Vanessa was never surrounded by a large group of friends, probably never will be. When she was in school she was often that kid everyone would actively avoid for no good reason but at camp she has her father's reputation to thank for it, her cabin's counselor, Erin's, attitude to the general group of campers isn't any help either. Vanessa has a big heart and is willing to share it with anyone who bothers to pay her some attention. She is very loyal and cares for her friends deeply, however, in her darkest moments she will push them away. As caring as she is she believes that one should take consequences for their actions and finds it hard to forgive those who mentally or physically hurt her, her family or her friends.

Vanessa is most definitely an introvert and isn't a fan of big parties, or even such gatherings (however she quite enjoys the campfire nights). She's quite intelligent and is great with strategy, given not as much as a child of Athena but she was always an A/B student when she was in school. She usually doesn't judge quickly, or tries not to at least. She the type of person who listens to both sides of the argument and silently analyses it before coming to a personal conclusion, however, she will be quick to stand up for her loved ones. She is generally mature and responsible but when she is alone with her friends she lets loose a bit, becomes more smiley and slightly crazy even if she's close enough to them.

Skills: As far as skills go Vanessa hasn't shown any 'mortal' skill out of the ordinary, she works for what she's got. She has a rich knowledge in history and she is intelligent, but not as much so as the Athenian kids. She is great with strategy (particularly war strategy) but not as much so as a kid from Athena or Ares. She has a few musical skills up her sleeve but not to the potential of an Apollo kid. Needless to say Vanessa has skills but each are easily outshone from the children of another god

Biography:
Jane had been widowed almost 2 years when she met Hades that Spring. She had taken her sons Jacob and William (whom were 3 and 4 at the time) to a local cafe for lunch. Hades happened to be seated at the table next to them and William and Jacob (at their wide-eyed naive ages) decided they wanted to talk to the 'sad man' and made attempts to be his friend until their mother intercepted. The 2 got to chatting and meet up a couple of times before falling in love, well at least Jane did.

A few days before spring ended Hades revealed his identity to her and told her that he could not see her again, neither aware Jane fallen pregnant that night.

Nine month later Jane gave a long, painful birth to Vanessa. The family of four were well off enough. Even though all 3 kids always knew Vanessa 'didn't have a dad' they never took that into much thought. Growing up William and Jacob were very protective of their younger sister, of course they often teased and tormented each other as siblings do but if anyone else did so to her they'd have older boys to answer to.

Vanessa's family lived off Jane's deceased husband's earnings (as he was a doctor when he was alive) and always had what they needed. True, they didn't have a luxurious life but they had an education, full stomachs, a roof over their heads and a bit extra for special occasions. However money was getting tighter and tighter by the year and the family couldn't live off of a deceased man's earnings forever. It was evident Jane would have to return to her job as a nurse eventually but there wasn't anyone to look after the kids and at their young age she didn't want them home alone in the evening, that was when she met Michael.

Vanessa was 5 when Jane met Micheal and truthfully she quite liked the man. The two of them married 2 years on and Vanessa always saw Micheal as her father figure and often referred to him as her father other than her stepdad despite keeping her mother's maiden name.

When Vanessa was inching toward her tenth year her mother gave birth to yet another girl, Selina. Selina was never Vanessa's half-sister. Despite technicalities Selina was never to be referred to as Vanessa's half sister when she was around or she'd be quick to correct them.

Vanessa's mother passed when she was 11. A storm had hit and the rain pounded the roof of every house, every building and covered every road. Jane was on her way home from her job when the storm hit suddenly, the rain limiting the view of every driver so neither her or the man driving the truck noticed each other until it was too late. Despite the pleas of Jane in her will Micheal decided he couldn't, and didn't want to, care for all the children left to him despite his own by blood and sent the other three kids to a local foster care home as Jane had lost contact with her family years ago. Leaving Vanessa to feel betrayed by the man who had been her father in her eyes for the last few years. Ridden with guilt Micheal would often attempt to send money and presents to the kids but they were always returned, they didn't want anything to do with him.

When she was almost 12 she first summoned zombie-like figure from the underworld. It was an accident, obviously, but of course, how are you meant to explain that to the other tweens and teens who you shared a house with? So entitling her a freak they avoided any contact with her if possible but Vanessa didn't care, this opened a new possibility for her, maybe she could see her mother, at least long enough to say goodbye. As much as she tried, however, it never worked. What Vanessa didn't know was the random deaths and brutal killings in the area weren't coincidence, although she could not summon a 'zombie' for an overly long period of time with each spirit another monster was detecting her and, when she was 14 she was quickly taken to camp half-blood by a satyr, who has lived in the foster care for a couple of months, alongside a small group of harder-to-detect demigods who had been in the area trying to kill off the beasts in the city. Despite a visit to Olympus, Vanessa had never left camp half-blood since.

Summoning Corpses: Particularly near their burial site Vanessa can summon the corpse of a deceased in a zombielike state. On occasions she can summon them from a distance but it takes a lot of power and energy out of her. At the moment she can only summon or occasionally, two at a time.

~Weaponry Information~

Weapon/s: Gifted to Vanessa by Chiron λήθη was rewarded to a loyal soldier and follower of Hades. Many battles have been won and much blood spilled with that sword and upon the soldier's death it was donated to camp half-blood. Vanessa, however, tries to limit weaponry use as much as possible so nowadays it doesn't really get the usage it deserves.

If you don't mind that is definitely something I'd be into happening :D.

The link for the wikia was stated earlier in the OOC so I saved it just in case that comes up :). I'll probably stick on the path on necromancy, as you suggested, with the zombieish figures (means I can be lazier with changing ish XD) but I'll go through the powers and such in case something there catches my eye instead, I'll let you know when I've changed what needs to be changed and such :D
