Stop being passive aggressive. Just be aggressive.

It is certainly not 'optimal', but it *is* doable, depending on what you want to do with it. You could go swords or valor bard and play them more like a warrior with some magical ability

@AmongHeroes not yet, I'll be doing a last round of lookovers after work, and I believe I'm waiting on one more cs to look at.
@Jedly Or he could just be new and not a rookie- give him a few months of service. He'd still be newer at that point, but not a fresh off the transport/factory line rook. Maybe he qualified for the Zeitgeist then.
@Reaper yaaaassss boo. That drama. It gives me life.
@Jedly the best way for Erwin to have the Zeitgeist is if he were A. A rich kid with a lot of money (not necessarily to buy the machine, but to pull the right strings to get it to him). or B. Not a rookie.

I'm just really not sold on the whole idea of a rookie. The character concept doesn't have to go away, I just dont want another rookie in the mix. The whole rookie magic begins to lose its shine once there's more than one. When there's one kid breaking down because she's killed her first man, that's character development. When there's two... its just a chore of taking care of the new kids.
@Jedly As a rookie with no kills, you wouldn't have a callsign- callsigns aren't something you pick, its something your squadmate's pick out for you. Anyway, while a rookie wouldn't be out of place- I am a little hesitant on that because we already have a 'rookie' character, so I'm not sure how well a second one would throw into that mix. Likewise, he wouldn't get to 'pick' which machine he piloted, he'd be assigned to something he'd qualified in during training, like a sparrow or sentry, and then upgrade to something the squadron has, typically something mass produced as opposed to a custom - especially a one(technically two) of a kind machine.

Speaking of Zeitgeist, what do you mean Erwin requested it to be commissioned? These machines cost in the millions, where does one get the money to request a specific machine? and if it were the military that Erwin requested from, why would they listen to one of their hundreds of rookies and purchase them a high performance/high cost unit? A machine like that is just not something one would give to a rookie.

As far as the actual Zeitgeist itself goes, everything makes sense, the SMG needs a caliber sizing/ammunition count, because while I won't be forcing you to keep track of every shell expended, if battles become long and drawn out, and your character is very liberal with his trigger finger, it is possible that he runs out of ammo.

@AmongHeroes I like Weber as a character. He incidentally fits in perfectly with the squad that you guys will be starting off with. He's military, so technically facial hair shouldn't be a thing, but 101st is special forces, so I guess that'll slide. With that in mind, did Weber do anything to distinguish himself as a pilot worthy of the special forces legion rather than any run of the mill unit? I'm not saying he has to be an utter badass, but he has to be above average as a pilot.

As far as the Bastion goes, weight and power checks out fine. I'd reduce the ammo count on the battle rifle a bit- especially since its a high caliber, long range, slow firing weapon. Something in the ballpark of 100-200 rounds would be more fitting. Other then that, it looks fine.
@Vilhelm - I always make exceptions for sheets that really wow me. So if you think you've got something that can impress my pants off, give it a shot
At work right now so I can't give you a full look, but shields have 5 wt
Weight of ammunition is factored into the weight requirements of ballistic weapons- unless it is an absurd amount of ammunition. Use the example machines as guidelines for caliber sizes and ammunition amounts. @AmongHeroes
@Jedly Oh, since you brought that up, good to mention. Ultra-Light suits are more like oversized exo skeletons instead of full on Mobile Armor Suits. They're typically used for anti-infantry and anti-light vehicle purposes instead of MAS combat. - I'd personally recommend against ultra light and just go for light if you want a high speed cqc unit
