I know a lot would be in flux due to the fallout of the ice age, but presumably the British Isles would be underwater...

The return of large-scale glaciers and such would actually create more land around England. Full-scale glaciation or an ice-age in the supposed scale wouldn't flood anything. Basically: Doggerland would return. A lot of other coastal areas would dry up too as sea-water is sucked up into the slowly growing ice-pack. Realistically this may happen over a long time, but I think for the purpose of this we'll be overlooking it.
Ice can hold more water in volume than it can displace it, or something like that.
But the premise comes with some fun implications, like in Europe the great city-state of Venice would now be a city on a hill and not a city on an island in the middle of a lagoon. And it'd lose its naval ability and have to learn to be a terrestrial force like Piedmont.
The area around Britain probably would be exposed like Aaron is saying, but it wouldn't be somewhere you could have a complex agricultural civilization. It'd go
perma-frost pretty quick and become either and polar desert, tundra, or even covered in ice.
This is to say that Britain is going to become
like this, and the northern part of continental Europe like
this Now, at the time of our RP this biome shift would all be in progress, so Britain would be in the process of becoming a dying land, not dead yet. Also probably won't be as evolved, so we wouldn't necessarily see it affecting as far south on that map. It still does mean that North America in its northern portions will be suffering similarly, and the focus will end up for us in the Southern US, the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Yes, but I'll have to see some writing sample to show you can handle the material. You could just PM me a paragraph written from the perspective of your chosen character and maybe some thoughts on how you are going to RP them so I know you can handle it.
Also, if this goes forward, I am planning on taking George III as one of my characters.

Yes. Charleston seems the most likely, since New England will probably be going cold too, and Charleston is the biggest town in the south at that time.
