Hey there! I've come crawling back to this website due to 1) wanting some new RPs and 2) suffering from a RP drought lately.
I'm just going to drop the shoddiest list here and see how it goes!

Basic Info:
- Heavily prefer Discord as it's what I'm most familiar with. I'm willing to give roleplaying on here a try, but you've been warned that I have very little experience in doing so.
- I'm gonna be transparent, I can be very awkward at the start but once I warm up, I tend to keysmash a lot and sometimes go a bit wild. Just a bit. With that said, I have low energy so I promise that if I don't talk a lot OOC at times despite replying IC, I promise it's not because I secretly hate you!
- I can write from one paragraph to multiple, it depends heavily on what I'm given to work with while mirroring the other party's response length too. I write in third person, past tense if that matters.
- A huge sucker for character development, exploring other people's worlds and worldbuilding!
- I'm from GMT+8 and I'm in my early-twenties in case you're concerned about posting frequency due to timezones or any awkwardness from large age gaps during OOC chatter.
- Generally I try to get one response out per day at least but on good days, it can be more. If any situation arises where I can't post as much, I'll be sure to let you know.

Interested genres:
- Tabletop
- Fantasy/Medieval: Good with high, medium or low fantasy!
- Slice of Life/Modern: Admittedly, it's not something I've done often but for some reason, I had a strong craving for this genre lately!
- Apocalyptic/Post-Apocalyptic

Genres I'm neutral with/comes with stipulations:
- Romance: Due to various past experiences, I sometimes get iffy if romance is the overarching theme. I'm fine with the roleplay has it so long as we discuss it beforehand, but I don't like forcing romance when platonic bonds are just as great! Additionally, I'll only consider ERP when I'm more comfortable OOC and depending on how the roleplay is going.
- Anime/Manga: Really depends on what it's inspired from, some tropes from it can be a bit...questionable at times, you know?
- School: Just not super keen but willing to give it a go.
- Horror
- Steampunk

Genres I'm not interested in:
- Superhero
- Fandom: Not too deep in any fandoms to want a fandom roleplay, so I'm only looking for original characters, sorry!
- Military
- Sci-Fi
- Historical
- Western

@LadyAdiraa It's nice to see someone else who's new around here as well. Stay strong too as well, I'm sure things will get better! It sounds nice to have someone to fall back on, I'm kind of jealous even!

Hopefully once I get past this awkward phase, I'll probably try to post some of my drawings and characters here one day, but for now, I'm just glad to see that it's such a friendly community here~ (Honestly, what was I even panicking about in the first place?) @Vampiretwilight Hi hi, thank you and it's nice to meet you! I understand preferring 1x1s, group RPs can feel pretty overwhelming at times, especially when everyone are in vastly different timezones from yours.

Seeking for roleplay partners!

Heyo! I'm completely new to this website, so please be patient with me! orz
Long story short, I'm looking to get involved in some 1x1 roleplays (if this post being an interest check wasn't obvious enough) and I'll get straight to the point.

Searching for:
- Always plot before smut. I pretty much have zero experience with smut and while I am fine with giving it a try, I don't want it to become the main thing of the roleplay in the slightest bit. This also sort of applies to romance too, I'm that person who doesn't see romantic relationships as necessary, why try to pair everyone up when our characters can be wrecking havoc as buddies instead? (That is an exception if it's specifically a romance-centered RP because...that's the point, duh? The plot is literally romance?)

- Proper grammar and such. I mean, sure, I get that everyone makes typos or has days where we might just go "dkjfbjsdfa" but please let the paragraphs be readable at the very least! I'm 100% fine if you drop all of that OOC though, if anything, once I warm up to people, I tend to go from the way I type now to something much more casual.

- Be open! Communicate, don't leave me hanging! It's hard to get anything done if one party is just sending short replies with no enthusiasm and really, a lot of things can be resolved just by discussion. If you ever get busy, want a break or simply want to stop the roleplay, just let me know and we're good!

- Let's be friends! Or acquaintances? At the very least, let's just be a bit more than strangers, shall we?

- Be willing to control secondary characters! I think part of the appeal of roleplays is how characters interact, even with side characters. Besides, they can really add value to the entire setting and while I'm fine with controlling some, I just don't want to end up in a situation where I'm stuck essentially controlling the entire world.

- OCs only! I haven't touched canon characters in ages and I get iffy about having to go against the set lore.

- Be 18+! As a disclaimer, I'm a pretty young person (19) and I know that there are many who might be uncomfortable with that, so feel free to turn around immediately if you're one of those people, it's fine really.

What I'm not interested in:
- Family RPs.
- Highschool/College/University RPs.
- Slice of life. (This is on the fence, I'm just rather iffy if the entire RP is just about living a normal life because personally for me, I lose interest in those rather quickly. But if it's a mix of this and another theme, I'm completely good with it.)
- Mafia/Pirate/Political RPs. (Trust me, spare yourself the trouble, I'm as good as a fish out of water regarding these.)

What I'm craving:
- Dystopian RPs.
- Modern RPs.
- Fantasy RPs. (Low, Mid, High, I guess I'm fine with all those!)
- Occult/Eldritch/Horror RPs. (I'm good with a lot of dark topics, but it doesn't necessarily mean I want something extremely edgy, if it makes sense. Monsters especially appeal to me, some people call me a shitfuck breeder because of how often my characters are most definitely not humans along with the story I write if it counts.
- Victorian RPs. (Admittedly, I have very little experience in this but I'm willing to give it a shot!)

Plots:
...And you've caught me red-handed, I'm bumped out for ideas right now, so I'm hoping that I can find someone whom I can discuss with and come up with something we're both invested in. I know this doesn't sound convincing, so the list below will show what games/shows I'm interested in and hopefully it shows some sort of a common ground we might have! I tend to have more niche interests apparently, so maybe it'll work for me (or not).

My interests:
- Lobotomy Corporation/Library of Ruina/Project Moon's universe (Extremely craving this right now because of just how hard is it to find someone who knows it, likes it and wants to roleplay that setting. Group servers on Disboard are...questionable to say the least.)
- Oneshot
- Vivy: Fluorite's Eye Song
- Pokemon
- Honestly just a lot (but not all) pixel RPG games. Omori? Yes. OFF? Yes. Witch's Heart? Yes. Ask me, there's a 50% chance that I have an interest in them at least.

...And that's about it. I would write more, but I'm really running out of brain juice. I would prefer to roleplay on Discord, but I'm also willing to try it out here too though I'll definitely be more active and faster on the former. Otherwise, if I'm not the type of person you're looking for...That's fine, I wish you the best of luck! But if I am (somehow), hit me up on this thread or message me privately!

Sup-lations! The name's Vinca and it's a pleasure to be here! Honestly, even as I'm writing right now, I'm getting pretty nervous, but I hope that I won't chicken out and end up not participating in any roleplays here. With that, I suppose I should get straight to the introduction!

- I've been roleplaying for about a good 7+ years now? I started off on some random forum but only really got into about a year or two later, but I have been doing roleplays within my own circle for a few years now. It's kind of the reason why I decided to give this website a shot, everyone gets busy in their lives sometimes and I want to try stepping outside of my circle for once. If it fails...oh well, there's comfort in knowing that I made some progress.
- While I do like group RPs, I'm awfully awkward around new people, so I tend to prefer 1x1 nowadays! Personally I love character development along with exploring world lore - There's something about character interactions that really gets me, I want to see how they develop or fall more than anything.
- Topics-wise, I guess my personal favourite are eldritch, thriller, dystopian and fantasy? On the other hand, topics like pirates and mafias don't catch my attention usually, I just don't know much about them to even do a simple roleplay of them.
- I'm into...more niche games? Or at least, it's not fandoms that everyone can immediately recognise. I'm extremely into Project Moon's universe at the moment!
- I do drawing and writing in my free time, but it probably can be called some sort of an obsession when I have over 150+ characters now... (I promise, I'm not going to dump all of them in any roleplays I participate in, if anything, I'm looking to create new, more lighthearted characters since they tend to default to a more grimdark setting.)

I can't really think of anything else to say for now, so...once again, I'm glad to be here and I hope to meet some new people here! :D
